We requested a statement of our account on checking out and were told that they could not print one, but they would send it via email. After waiting a day for the email I sent them a second request for a statement and but I still have not received it. On checking in there was a surprise charge of $12. for what we where told was for use of facilities such as boat, paddle boards, etc. These charges were not mentionned on the Expedia site, nor were we interested in using these facilites.

The staff was courteous but there was NO boating a fishing available for 5th and 6th due to marriage at there spot and there was no communication while doing the booking. We have to go all the way 40 kms for boating. The washroom roof was pealed off. They were out of toothpaste and brush in bathroom and for that we travel again 25kms. Surrounding view is fabulous. Thanks

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Disappointing! Room was clean but the lodge is very old, gross carpets and ripped wall paper. Really old bathroom that smelled like sewage. Old furniture as well. Plus was nice beds and clean linens although this should be a minimum standard. The worst part was no air conditioning in the room on a very hot and smokey day. Windows were small and air through the balcony door worked ok but there wasn’t a screen on the door to keep the mosquitoes out. This made for a horrible sleep and very unhappy children. It’s definitely not a resort and the website / photos are misleading. There isn’t a beach to swim from as well, you need to drive to the park. If your fishing shoulder season maybe ok but I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer. I’ll also note quite unfriendly staff. Left a night early for a hotel with air conditioning…..
