Had arranged a airport pick up and the guy was very helpful so was a good start.....check was ok but we had to find the room and take our luggage upsairs but had a lift so no biggy.....the room was lovely top floor lovely views...was very loud when the wind and rain got up but again that cant be helped. For the 1st couple of days we were the only ones around which was wierd as the hotel is huge but more guest did turn up....mostly Chinese....but that is the market the hotel caters too. That brings me to the food....that was the main let down,,,it wasnt good they didnt understand if u asked for something to be changed and once gave me a totally different dish...there is also 10% added to everything so called service charge well as we all know if the service is good then no worries BUT......!!! Ill say no more. The pool was good we did have to ask them to open it at 9....when it says open from 8 am but after the 1st day they done it all ready...We stayed here for a week on our travels but wouldnt come back !!!!

The morning breakfast was terrible. The food was tasteless even orange syrup without sweetness it taste like plan water. The kolo mee also tasteless. I recommend the chef should try the real taste of kolo mee not oil mix with soy sauce only. For room and facilities up to expectations. A lot of activities can play in the resort.

The hotel is okay for a budget stay. Nothing much to complain. Quiet and can be abit scary sometimes. Also abit far from town, but you can always take uber or grab to get around. The beach is really close by and its a good place to spend the time with the family. The rooms are okay but needs abit of renovation.

Pros: Good place for relaxation. Love the view. Hotel room at the top floor - advisable to request for top floor for a better oceanic view unless you prefer garden view. (They do have elevator if you're worry about the staircase). Complimentary drinks (either soft drinks or beer) are provided when check in. Cons: 1) A big disappointment on food at both the pool bar and restaurant - advisable to bring your own food (more worth it). The food is totally no what it showed at the tv or pictures so beware! 2) The resort is a bit far which is 16KM from the city and have to take taxi of RM30 per trip from CBD to the resort. The resort itself did provide free shuttle bus services. Yes, its FOC!! 3) Not much facilities so advisable to shop around in the CBD first before heading to the hotel. 4. A lot of sand flies (even at the pool bar) - bring your cream/spray or whichever you need.

Last weekend, stayed in Palm Beach during our college annual gathering. Flew down from Kuala Lumpur and head straight over to Palm Beach. However, I have good points and also some improvements to suggest for Palm Beach: Good points : 1. I like vintage look of the rooms, some may not like it but I love it. Its a big room with sofa, and big bath tub and spacious shower are for 6 ft 2 guy like me, 2. Love the entire planning, landscape of the location 3. Bar area, pool bar area is our favourite location 4. Nice beach soccer setup, hammocks and giant swings were brilliant To Improve: 1. Staff needs serious improvements, they need to be more courteuous yetr friendly 2. Proper cooling setup for the bar, it was very hot 3. Proper bartenders as cocktails were not that good 4. Some night activity over the beach area would be great else people need to drive out 30 minutes for some party action

The rooms are very big, with a nice and big bed, aircon, tv, and a big bathroom with a big-size tub and shower-cabin. The pool is great, but unfortenatly it was very dirty. You could hardly see your feet! There is also two tennis courts, but I am not sure they can be used. A big downside is the hotels restaurant. The menu is very small, and the food is not great. The food is not worth the price either. It is also a bit to far to go inte town to eat.

The furbishment of the hotel is old and out dated. The room that I requested is on the ground floor near the garden is nice and big. However the room is to be empty for a long while as it smell very musty and i find cobweb at some corner of the room. However the lack of renovation is make up by the excellent service provided by the staff of this resort. I book a table at the restaurant for Valentine day and as I check in quite late in the afternoon thus I took a rest in the room. And I over slept thus I call to the receptionist to make changes to the dining timing. They are very accommodating and make necessary changes. I strongly recommend the place for the service even though the room may not be up to standard as a resort place. They do have lots of facilities and the beach view is worth it too.

Wasn't too sure what to expect after reading all all the reviews on line. The hotel is nicely situated at the North part of the Island and away from the busier part of Labuan. It has a private beach and a large swimming pool with great views from the rooms of the ocean. The hotel is quaint and a bit older and could do with a bit of investment but for a weekend get away it is more than adequate. Ranks around a 3-star. There is a shuttle from the airport and to downtown which the runs on a schedule. I recommend you rent a car which was very cheap at 100 RM/day for a Toyota Vios. Check in was fairly quick. The hotel was hosting a 10km run the weekend we checked in so it was a bit busier. We booked two Deluxe King bedrooms with a sea view including breakfast. Recommend you ask for the 4th floor. Room 3309 was in better shape than 3312. The rooms are spacious and had balconies looking over the ocean. The beds were comfortable and clean linen was supplied. Each room had amenities provided including flip flops for the beach. The pool area and grounds are very large. There are swinging chairs and hammocks to sit in as you enjoy a few drinks from the bar. Also a swim up bar in the pool. They also serve mocktails. All prices are very reasonable. We ordered some French fries with our drinks which were delicious. They also do an outside BBQ on Saturdays near the beach which looked good. The sunset on the beach is beautiful and there is plenty of beach to walk on and get great pictures. The water is also very shallow so you can walk in the water close to the shore. Breakfast runs from 6:30-10:30. The selection is standard asian and western. As others have written, arrive earlier rather than later as it empties fast. They will cook eggs to order. Overall the hotel was a nice retreat and given its location on Labuan is a good 3-star. The staff are friendly and courteous and it was a nice weekend getaway. If your looking for an affordable, relaxing atmosphere then this is he place.

I waited few months before writing a review for this resort; wanted to try few other places in the island before I give my opinion. Excellent ambience. Friendly staff. Good restaurant. Rooms- all have a balcony. Almost all have excellent sew view. The pool is large, well maintained with good pool bar. The restaurant has great ambience; seating by the shore. The best place to enjoy a sunset. Their private beach is icing on the cake. The do have Kayak for rent, bit steep pricing but enjoyable. Spent a lovely weekend. This the place to stay for my next visit. WiFi reliable The pick drop service is complimentary from town/airport/ferry terminal. We may have to wait. But; I guess it's the price one pays for a wonderful sea side resort. I loved it more than my stay at "dorsett " the so called 5* of the island.

Let's talk about the room, it was so amazing. Nice and luxurious bed with excellent air conditioner and a fan for in case of temperature change. I really enjoy with the bathroom, it was so precious. And sort of extra coffee and water boiler provided. The internet network is fairly okay for international roaming. The buffet foods are so delighful, only things the waiters are having miscommunication of English. He thought I ordered a noodles but I ordered an omelette. LOL keep train well. I spotted some coconut drinks lefted over on the bench near to the beach on the morning. Please make a schedule to clean up the bench somehow... The bus shuttle has good hospitality and well managed. Hope to visit one day. :)
