Our cottages are renovated farm-workers’ cottages, located on a working organic sheep farm, so guests should expect some of the quirks that come with the environment. If you would like to find out more about our sheep, cows or newly-planted orchard, we will be more than happy to chat.



In July and August, bookings run from Saturday to Saturday and the period of stay is weekly.

Welcome to Porcherat, a charming countryside retreat set on a certified organic farm in the heart of the Dordogne.This single-storey cottage is surrounded by meadows, woodlands, and a private lake.



Perfect for family holidays, couples or groups of friends, the house accommodates up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms (1 double with en-suite, and 2 twins), 2 bathrooms, and a spacious open-plan kitchen/living area. A large private garden with covered outdoor dining space ensures both comfort and privacy.



Guests have direct access to a 2.5-hectare private lake, complete with a sandy beach and small island. Enjoy the available watercraft: rowing boat, two-person canoes, a kayak, and a pedal boat. For fishing enthusiasts, two additional quiet forest lakes are stocked with carp, perch, roach, and tench. Explore over 100 hectares of private woodland and pasture on maintained walking and cycling trails.
