Good spot in La Pocatière

Quick overnight stay on a family trip. Motel is fairly old but somewhat renovated and well maintained. Odd sink in the bathroom and linoleum floor in the room. Pretty basic breakfast. Not the motel operator’s fault but our sleep was very disturbed by little kids running in the halls early in the morning.

The motel and the room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The only minor issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working properly. Everything else was excellent and I would gladly stay in this motel again.

Motel Le Martinet albsoltely lives up to all the great reviews. My "vintage room" was impeccably clean, with new bed, sofa & bathroom. Nothing dingy about it at all which is always the traveller's fear with older establishments. The vintage feel is part of this motel's charm. The young woman at reception was very friendly & welcoming. Although I didn't stay for breakfast, I saw there was a nice variety of food. Great place to stop on the way to the east coast - not far off the highway and easy to find. But still in a quiet area for a good night's sleep. I'll definitely be back!
