Stayed with family for one night as we visited the north of Tenerife from our base in the south. The hotel is relatively new but you would not notice, it’s traditional but with the highest level of decor and little touches. The rooms are spacious and well designed with really comfy beds. The have a Michelin starred restaurant and a roof top pool, hot tub and terrace bar. The hotel staff are as excellent as they are professional. The whole ambience is style and sophistication. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed here for 2 nights, and we loved it. The hotel is even more beautiful IRL then what you see in the pictures. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is one of the nicest I have ever seen and is highly recommended. Also the location of the hotel is perfect, just on the border of the old town. And with a great private underground parking at a reasonable price.

I loved my stay at the La Laguna Gran Hotel. My room was large and clean, the location was perfect for walking around La Laguna and the reception area is lovely. The one thing I would say is that they didn't say that the hotel pool was open. In my room, there was a note saying it was under construction. All in all though, a good boutique hotel.

The hotel is a charming boutique hotel with a hipster feel. Some rooms still have the old bathtub, and reportedly, only the rooms with twin beds have a stall shower. The hotel staff is lazy and unhelpful. They were unable to assist with a guide or even show me where my room was. The receptionist didn't answer the phone when I called down to the front desk. The hotel has central heat and a/c so only one system can work at a time. Once the hotel changes to a/c, there is no heat no matter how cold the temperature is. I was FREEZING last night. The hotel brought a noisy space heater that didn't work. Even if it did work, they purchased the cheapest noisest type. Sylvia, The Front Desk Manager's response was, the hotel doesn't mention the heat in its listing... Duly noted and you should know that if the temperature is not precisely perfect, you cannot make the room colder or hotter if that system is not attached. I am not sure how in 2019, the hotel doesn't have dual HVAC, and yet considers itself a four-star hotel. They likely, get away with it since there are reportedly only two hotels in town.

We’ve stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in April 2019 and we really enjoyed the comfort of the room. The hotel is situated in the city center of San Cristobal de la Laguna, a small and chic city situated at only 10km away from the capital and the capital and you can go there by tramway. The hotel lobby is very very nice, the building is just wonderful, they have an outdoor pool that wasn’t opened during out stay. There is a covered parking, a bar and a restaurant with good prices. The breakfast was also ok. The rooms are big and well furnished, quiet but we had a problem with the humidity. In the morning it was raining on the windows inside. I think the isolation is not very good. The staff super helpful and nice. The only minus for a 4 star : no spa, no sauna. I highly recommend.

I had an appointment at the Hospital Universitario in the morning so we chose this 4 star hotel as it was no too far from the Hospital. We arrived at the airport in the evening and went to the hotel by taxi. The attached restaurant was a one star Michelin and our budget did not include such a luxury. Being a university town there were a large number of bars nearby serving tapas and light meals which suited us fine. Back to the hotel we stopped for a drink in the bar, an excellent red Rioja at a fair price. the hotel has a main building that was a small palace on one of the main streets, but attached behind were three floors of a brand new building with lovely rooms, a good size and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with a choice of pillows, an excellent bathroom with all you needed. As we had an early appointment at the hospital we had a quick breakfast in the café next door.

Love the hotel the vibe decorations friendliness of staff ! We where only there for one night but I will be back ! Had great restaurant recommendations from reception tasca cristian fab. Café lounge bar in hotel nice and chilled with great coffee and carrot cake. We had breakfast in hotel because we had an early flight but it was really nice I normally like to hit the Spanish cafe s in the morning but this was good. Only bad thing... the room was sooooo warm ...

This hotel is great as a base to explore the beautiful north of Tenerife. Plenty of restaurants around in the town which is lovely to explore but the food in the hotel is amazing, too. My room was in the modern Annex and very comfortable with a decent bathroom and all amenities needed. Add to this the rooftop pool area, a lovely bar for drinks and night cups and friendly staff, you are in for a treat.

We stayed for a week while on walking trips throughout the island. The room was excellent and spacious. We had an outside terrace to our room although in March it was too cold first thing to have breakfast outside or to have dinner there in the evening. We paid for half board which included a buffet breakfast (including a range of cooked eggs/bacon etc and all the cold items) which was well worth the money and a dinner. The waiting staff were great. There is a car park in the basement of the hotel for 9 euros per 24 hours. We used the outdoor public car park (just to the rear of the hotel) which was free, although there was competition for spaces in the early evening. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely appearances aren't enough to make a hotel good! Yes, this place is pretty and stylish enough. Yes it has a big exterior pool on the roof (whereas quite chilly even in the summer). Yes, the staff is pleasant enough However, our last stay was just horrible! We were prevented a decent night sleep by a huge party with an extremely loud band on the roof! We called the reception desk at midnight and moved to a new room to no avail! Same impossible noise!!! Called again at 2am, but staff could not do anything, not even tell them to lower the volume!!! So, before a long international flight, we just could not get any rest! And to make things even worse, they forgot our wake up call : when they switched our room, they forgot to switch the wake up call as well...(and when they called the first room, they did not bother to wonder why no one was picking up!) So, quite unprofessional! Will not return!
