This gorgeous La Jolla home has it all – a rooftop deck with peek-boo-views of the Pacific Ocean, two private patios with fire tables, two kitchens, and an updated, light, bright interior. Three bedrooms are part of the main home, and there's an independent one-bedroom casita as well for those who're looking for a bit more privacy. The home can accommodate up to 13 lucky guests.
Get breakfast started in the modern, well-equipped kitchen, complete with sparkling stainless steel appliances, lots of cabinets, and plenty of counter space. The casita features another full kitchen (minus a dishwasher), so two chefs can be hard at work at once. The rooftop deck features a peek of the Pacific Ocean, and provides the perfect place to dine alfresco at the table for eight. Dining areas inside include a table for six in the main home and a table for four, plus two pretty sea foam green barstools for two, in the casita.
When it's time to head out, you're 0.2 miles from Marine Street Beach. Grab one of the home's beach towels and make a day of it on the sand. When you return, grab a frosty beverage and head back up to the deck in time for sunset. As night falls, move the party to one of the two patios and turn on the fire tables for added ambiance. Keep dinner simple – you've got two gas grills at your disposal – and then end the night on the oversized sectional, streaming your favorite show.
Three of the four bedrooms and the casita's living room all feature flatscreen TVs as well, so no problem if you can't agree on what to watch. The main bedroom features a king and an en suite bathroom; another features a queen and direct rooftop deck access. The third bedroom features a twin-over-double and a queen, and the casita bedroom features a queen.

Great location, lots of space
This house plus casita gave us plenty of room to spread out. We were walking distance to the beach which we could see from our spacious roof top balcony. We had 2 fully-stocked kitchens and views of lush gardens and greenery from every room and had several patios to enjoy. Close to grocery stores and attractions. The one complaint is the couch had a deep cavern in it on the one seat where it was broken. Fixable by piling pillows but not a great look. Overall we had a wonderful experience and wold definitely stay here again.

A little worn
The property is indeed in a very desirable location. It was in walking distance to the beach as well as groceries, eateries and shopping. However, within 10 minutes in our stocking feet (we don't wear shoes in the house) the socks were filthy. Aspects of the house were great, the bathrooms were renovated nicely, though paint was peeling in places as well as water damage. The couch was broken in the casita and the couch in the main living room was also damaged. We were reluctant to use the outdoor furniture as it was not cleaned for the season. Things need to refreshed as the place had a worn feel to it.
