Hotel Regina was perfect for a solo traveler. In the heart of downtown La Fortuna (bring earplugs if street noise bothers you), it was very convenient to meals and shopping and easy pick up location for adventures. (I booked all mine with Desafio Adventures. They were great!). They have a beautiful clean shared kitchen if the fresh fruits and veggies at the markets call to you rather than going out. It was easy on the pocketbook And the staff is so nice! I would definitely go back.
