Wonderful stay at Nayara Springs! The driver who picked us up, Michael, was fantastic. Our personal host, Alfredo, provided superb service and always projected a genuine willingness to help. Jeffrey (Ayla) and Joseph (Mis Amores) were excellent. Carrito drivers Fabian, Blanco (Daniel), and others were always friendly. And thank you, Saidy and team - as someone who pays attention to cleanliness, I also want to highlight how impressed we were that the cleaning staff cleaned under the rugs and changed the outside pillow cases. They made me feel that the place was as clean as our own home. The great service at Nayara Resort stands out as does the fresh quality of food and vegetables. In order to make it even better, the resort could think about directly highlighting its sustainability initiatives to its guests; I read a bit about them in one of the LHW books but don’t see them mentioned at all on the actual resort. Signs or information cards to show off all that you are doing is one way to inform guests of your efforts and to attract new guests. One improvement might be to review the amount of salt in the hot Asia Luna dishes. Thank you again to the Nayara team!
stellar property embedded into nature. beauty at every turn. staff and service impeccable but the food - unfortunately the food across the board but especially at its most expensive restaurant was simply poor. bland. unimaginative, poorly prepared and, sadly, a large flaw in an otherwise 5 star experience. i hope they work hard to change this soon.
Fabulous property. Staff are unmatched. Dinner is a culinary experience in each restaurant and we enjoyed them all. Drink menus are expertly curated. We saw sloths and toucans daily. Breakfast at Ayla is wonderful as is the buffet at La Terrazza. Breakfast in the room by the pool is nice but the food offered does not meet the level of eating in the restaurants. We enjoyed walking the grounds. The three resorts are truly magical.
Wonderfull Experience!!! Located in the most beautiful area of Costa Rica, surrounded by rain forest that provided you with serenity which makes you feel at one with nature. The grounds were breathtaking and resort staff extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was stunning with huge bathroom as well as outdoor shower. It was immaculate on daily basis and offered mini bar that was refreshed every day as well as fresh exotic fruits, coffee and teas. Special thanks to Sharon who surprised us with decorations and bottle of champagne for our birthday!!! Thank you!
PHENOMENAL!!!! The best service, personal touches, quality food, and location. Loved every bit of it. With so many amenities inlcuded in the rate- this hotel is worth every penny. They accommadated our vegan diet, and really gave us a wonderful 'food experience'. Thank you to the entire staff for a very memorable experience.
liked the service a lot food was very good, rooms were excellent. did not like wine bar. The wine bar advertised tapas we ordered the shrimp tapas that came in a pan. I thought tapas came on a little piece of toast. 5 little shrimp too $$ much. the entertainment should go on until 10pm instead of 9pm. over all I did like resort and would go back.

From the time we got there to the time we left, nothing short of perfection. Great villas and great staff. Everyone was so accommodating. The daily breakfast buffet was way better than expected. The grounds were beautiful. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

Booked this hotel at the beginning of the trip to chill before an 11 day scuba diving trip to Cocos Island. The suites were fabulous and the plunge pool was icing on the cake. With the fully stocked mini bar, outdoor bed, you could lounge at your suite and completely relax. At times it was a 'chore' to go out for activities because it was soo nice to just chill in the room. It is pricey but felt it was worth every penny. Splurge and enjoy! Also, they have a 'resident' sloth that was always around the permiter of the property.
