THE best hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was exceptional. We were upgraded to the most wonderful room, you walked in and could smell the cleanliness, the decor was simple but amazing, I cannot impress just how special it made us feel. Generally we don’t want to spend much time in the room but this was an exception, the bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. As the fussiest of people ( so I’m told) I would not hesitate to return or recommend and I don’t do praise lightly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the golf cart chap Alejandro was a real tonic, always made me smile. The spa was great, beautifully decorated and lovely staff. The restaurants we tried were Mis Amore which was great for dinner but the best for breakfast. Amore Loco was our favourite restaurant, the ambience just right , outstanding food and the best flambé you could wish for made by Brian, a class act. I could rave about Nayara forever, I’ll never stay anywhere quite as special, our thanks for everything, it was really appreciated.

Nayara Springs What can I say about this resort; besides that, my heart overflowed with love and intense emotion. Everything about this resort was breath taking. The rooms are beyond beautiful, elegant, romantic and stunning. The outdoor rainfall showers are gorgeous with private pools, outdoor space, hammocks, with everything in the mini bar included. The complimentary breakfast was very good, and all service was provided in a professional and exceptional manner. We also had lunch and dinner here with great food with great service. They provide free laundry service! I didn’t realize how important this was until after traveling for days, doing excursions and my clothes smelling horrible, wet and I was stressed about having to put those back into my luggage. You fill out your laundry sheet and let them know you are ready for them to pick up your laundry and its returned promptly the next day. Daily yoga led a delightful start to the day-allowing me to feel open to the energy of Costa Rica and refreshed. The sounds of the animals during yoga with the scenic views of the outdoors couldn’t be beat. We also got massages, which we did at sunset, 5pm, so the temperature cooled off in the outdoor cabana and all the animals became lively, providing us our own private relaxation music. The wine bar is an absolute must for wine lovers and such a fun experience. The pools have amazing views of the volcano with swim up bars and relaxing cabana areas for you to enjoy. Now, the pools are fed by the hot springs but the water is prefiltered or something like that so you are not actually in a hot spring pocket-we ended up booking one night at a resort nearby that had amazing hot springs just to experience them and then the rest of our trip was spent at Nayara. We booked a zip lining tour through the hotel, and then went off on our own to the La Fortuna water fall, also did a night time frog tour at the mystic tour location right down the street-ABSOLUTE must (Wear long sleeve light clothes, bug spray, and closed shoes-I did get a little nibble from an ant but the frog tour was one of my favorite activities that we did).. If you are staying in Arenal then I highly recommend Nayara Springs for a romantic, breathtaking experience. I feel like Nayara will always have a special place in my heart.

Nayara, I am told, is fabled to be one of the top 10 hotels in the world. Some mention is as #2 in the list. In my experience till now, it ranks at par with Amarvilas near Taj Mahal in terms of hospitality and the rainforests around it give this hotel the extra 10 miles of "Oh My God" feeling. The upgrade to the top class suite with a mini pool cum jacuzzi was very thoughtful, considering the 30+ hour journey made by us to get there. The fact that the water from hot springs feeds the mini pool is a huge plus. The birds, flora and fauna is stunning. The walking trails amazing and the food is absolutely gourmet level. Our visit to their gourmet restaurant Amor Loco left us clearly impressed. Overall the place gets a 10 on 10 on every count. I would strongly recommend this paradise on earth.

My girlfriend and I celebrated her birthday at Nayara and it was amazing! From the moment we set foot on the property we were treated like royalty. The property itself is gorgeous and provides great views of the volcano. The food on the property is incredible as well. We did the private chef dinner and ate at Amor Loco. Both were phenomenal. It was the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway.

What can I say about this place that will do it justice? I’ve traveled around the world, and this was by far my favorite trip and mostly due to this wonderful resort and it’s amazing staff and general manager, Frederick! The hotel Itself was outstanding and clean and comfortable, while the staff was so helpful and cheerful and pleasant. Everyone was so helpful and professional, and when you meet Frederick, you understand why. We spoke to the staff quite a bit and they all said that they enjoyed working for this resort and were genuinely happy to be there. They never gave you the feeling of nickle and diming you, on the contrary, they did a lot of small gestures that made you feel very well taken care of and special. The hotel is situated in the middle of the jungle with a perfect view of the volcano. We went on many of the excursions as well and the guides were all amazing and the tours themselves were very special. The food there is also amazing! It is all locally sourced and organic and fresh. We loved it so much there that we are returning again this year with our ten year old son. Definitely recommend this place over any other hotel there!

Nayara is amazing. The rooms, the grounds, the food and facilities are wonderful. However, what sets Nayara apart from other great properties is the staff. The most friendly, caring, warm people that have ever worked at a resort have been put together as an "all-star team". I wish I could remember them all by name. Seyris, who took us on three tours, was so knowledgeable and kind. Alexander, our waiter for the romantic dinner, Michael, at the front desk who helped me sort out a non-Nayara issue, the golf cart drivers.... I could go on an on. We only at the resort restaurants and they were all good. The included breakfast buffet is a huge misnomer. There is a buffet of fresh fruit and breads and juices, but there is also a full menu of delicious (included) items that are fantastic. Every part of the resort is immaculate and well cared for. What really struck me is the refusal to upsell for anything. Even the finest resorts in the world want to charge you for everything, Nayara never does. Yes, the resort is hilly and steep but if you ever need a ride, a driver is there within seconds. I could go on and on about Nayara and it wouldn't do it justice. The best stay ever!!

My husband surprised me with a trip to Costa Rica for my birthday and Nayara Springs was our first destination. From the moment we arrived at the resort we were treated like absolute royalty. The staff pays great attention to the guests and they were so accommodating. For example, the staff ran to our villa and quickly changed out the alcoholic beverages in the mini bar for non-alcoholic ones when they heard us mention during check-in that we don't drink. We enjoyed breakfast in bed one morning (at no extra charge) and loved all of the mini bar treats. All of the restaurants we tried were delicious. While staying at the resort we saw a sloth, monkeys and red-eyed tree frogs. This resort truly offers a five-star experience. I feel like I got to experience a little bit of the rainforest but in a luxurious way (air conditioning and no bug bites lol). We hope to visit Nayara Springs again, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica. Definitely check out the La Fortuna Waterfall if you end up staying here!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. They took care of us from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left. Absolutely everyone is so friendly making you feel right at home. They go above and beyond anything you can imagine. We even had them reaching out to me when there was sloth sightings on the property just because they knew I wanted to see one during our vacation. Food was excellent as were all the beverages. This place is literally like heaven on earth!! Our villa was incredible, didnt want to leave. We recieved multiple spa services which were the best we have ever had. I cant think of one things that I would change about our stay, truly made our honeymoon! We travel alot and have been all over the world and this resort is THE BEST we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. Thank you so much Nayara Springs, we will be back!!!

Nayara Springs is probably the best experience we've had at a hotel. It was every bit on par with the Four Seasons Maui (which we also loved for our honeymoon). We had high expectations and this hotel exceeded them! Everyone there is friendly and you get the feeling that they genuinely want you to have a great experience. Some of the staff went out of their way to remember our name, the occasion of our visit, and welcome us every time they saw us. The room was opulent and impressive. The hot-spring fed pool on your patio is amazing, obviously. We had a view of the volcano. The little things make the stay all the more special: heated metal hanging rack to dry your suit / clothes, free laundry, take from the mini-bar whenever you want (without additional cost). Our housekeepers even chilled our wine each night on ice until we enjoyed it (without any request from us)!

This place is so beautiful. Your every need is taken care of. All you need to do is relax and enjoy it. The grounds are so beautiful. There are plenty of onsite restaurant options to choose from. We came here for our anniversary. So glad we did. It was an extraordinary experience. I hope I can come back again someday.
