Beautiful hotel in the rainforest! The grounds were immaculate and stunning, the rooms spacious and very clean. Hotel staff is wonderful, shout out to German at the pool bar! The food was excellent including the free breakfast buffet. Uber is super accessible and its a quick ride to downtown La Fortuna.

If you want to have a relaxing vacation and be one with nature, this is the place to be! This resort is so charming and unique. You are truly staying within the rainforest. You can always hear the sounds of nature . This place is well maintained and all the staff are very helpful. I used their airport shuttle service and kudos to our driver who made us feel welcome from our arrival to our departure. The free breakfast is excellent. The evening dining has good ambience and the food is delicious. They have internal transport and they are quick to pick you up. We walked from the resort to Mistico hanging bridge. It took us approximately 15 minutes but it is hilly and maybe strenous to some. The resort is 3.5 hours away from SJO but traveling to this place is truly worth the trip. Thank you Lost Iguanas for such memorable experience.

The room was great. Very clean and spacious. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Pools were clean and well maintained. Was too cool out to use the cold pool for very long but the heated one was great. Highly recommend this resort!

Such a beautiful place. Our room was outstanding with an outdoor shower and jacuzzi. We could sit on the porch for hours and watch nature. The trail was amazing. The hotel is on a very steep property but carts were readily available to assist. All staff were amazing, pool and pool bar very nice. Good breakfast.

Lovely remote resort in a gorgeous natural setting. Friendly staff, excellent restaurant with reasonable pricing. I didn’t like having to pay $12/person to go on a nature walk, but it was a beautiful walk. The two pools next to the restaurant had an attractive design and one of them was heated such that was pleasant to hang out in for a long time. We would happily come back here.

The staff are excellent! We wanted for nothing! The environment was peaceful, cozy, quiet. We were fully immersed in nature in this mountain side haven! If you want to get back to a simple existence and just relax, I highly reccommend the Lost Iguana!

Well appointed rooms with large patio area with view of the volcano. Lush, well landscaped grounds. Nice heated pool with swim up bar. Helpful and friendly staff. The only downside were the prices at th restaurant and value for the price. Food could be better and less expensive. Very close to Mistico Hanging Bridges, which is nice. Breakfasts are generally pretty good.

This was my first hotel in Costa Rica, and overall it left a great impression. The volcano view was beautiful, the staff were kind, and the room was large and spotless. The only small downside was the dinner. The price was high compared to the value, especially the steak, which I hope can be improved in the future.
