Great location, close to the town and near some good restaurants. We had two rooms: one was very nice with a great view, even in the shower and the other one felt more like an old cabin. The pool is very nice ans the pathway to the river is worth going.

The room was large and clean. We recommend the garden view with a balcony. Breakfast was delicious. The property also has trails leading down through the woods along the river to observe nature and wildlife. You can even swim in the river if you want. Would gladly stay here again.

The accommodations are right next to the forest and river. We had unit 1 at the base of the resort with a short walk to the river. Unfortunately for the days were there it did rain quite heavily. There was a hot tub on the deck that we used a couple of times, which was great.

This is a unique property, with direct access to a river running along the property which is accessible to swim in, the views from the cabins are spectacular with mountain and natural jungle views with amazing bird and plants/flowers. Had howling monkeys directly in front of my cabin. Can't recommend this property enough, just awesome

The family that tends to the cabin was so kind. It is very helpful to speak a bit of Spanish, but they do they’re best if you don’t. There was a nice breakfast for $5/person that we enjoyed while watching the many birds out front at the reception area, and having a completely private cabin with a back porch overlooking the garden was very nice.

This was a sweet place out of the main Fortuna area, but still quite close. My only complaint was we expected at least one stove burner for a little cooking. The people are super-sweet. Breakfast was adequate. Nice gardens and walk down to the river. Quiet.

Great little place to stay. The setting is very beautiful and it feels remote even though this is quite close to La Fortuna town, La Fortuna waterfall and Cerro Chato. The breakfast at the Cabina was also a great example of a typical breakfast. Highly recommended!

These little cabins were very clean, some newly renovated. Amenities were a little lacking, like there was no safe or AC, however there was a refrigerator, a kitchenette as well as a porch overlooking the river with a hammock. table and chairs to enjoy the afternoon. Breakfast was supplied for an additional $5 per person that was homemade and delicious. Our host was also a bit of a bird whisperer, having made friends with a local humming bird that felt comfortable enough to land on his hand. All-in-all, it was a nice place to stay, near the volcanic area and reasonable in price.
