The space was great for our large family. We especially enjoyed the pool. The host responded quickly to our few questions. Location was good for all the activities we had planned.

Very very cool house. A little difficult to navigate finding the house (originally sent wrong address) and finding the keys for the rooms (each bedroom has an individual key). Host was able to answer all questions promptly.

We loved every minute of our stay. The house seems like a wonderful tree house next to a beautiful river. We liked the casual vibe. The kids loved the pool and all the wildlife. The location was very convenient, yet very peaceful. Perhaps the best part was Rebeca. She couldn’t have been more gracious and patient. If we are lucky enough to come back to La Fortuna, we will stay at this house again.

Would not recommend. Property in disrepair - we had the toilet fixed three times and were only there 6 nights. Property was dirty and didn't want to use the kitchen. Trash never removed or anyplace to put it. Master bedroom had no furniture, so you put everything on the floor. Property is shared by others and felt unsafe; because the gate was always unlocked in a challenging neighborhood. This property is basically a campsite with an adjoining farm; so you get the sounds and smell of the farm throughout the day. Not someplace you want to take your wife/family - especially for the price.

Absolutely stunning place!

We loved our stay at Arenal River Place. The house is amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. The river provides a tranquil sound bath the whole time. The pool was delightful and a great size. Three nights was too short.

Magical stay in the rainforest

The house was amazing, way better than what it looks like online. The hosts were very accommodating and took really good care of all of our needs. The location is great, really close to everything you would want to see in the area but very private. It was the perfect home for our family.
