Beautiful property. I stayed in a gorgeous villa with a terrific outdoor bathroom and amazing view from the large balcony. Unfortunately, while we could walk down the hill, coming up was quite steep and required golf carts. When you check in they say "just call us at reception if you need a ride". But then they often never arrived or it took 15 or 20 minutes waiting at the bottom while nobody came or carts passed without stopping, The staff was friendly but clearly the cart transportation is a problem they haven't solved. The room was ready when we arrived but it took 2 hours to check-in and finally get to our room.
Total waste of money. Example of the type of nickel and doming they do: A hotel in the upper hundreds per night on a beach island should not be only providing one beach/pool towel for the entire stay and threatening fees (as part of the check in patter) if it disappears.
A m a z i n g, best hotel at La Digue for sure, vila garden are the most fancy rooms

Dear Ms TripGirl , Many thanks for your feedback , however we are surprise to read that to spend your time in our property is a waste of money as this in not the feeling of 99% of our guests. On top of that , beach towels can be provide all the day and to be collect at the pool and not only one beach/pool towel as it is mention in your feedback. We presume that it is certainly a misunderstanding . Kind Regards,
