Beautiful village, lovely house - be aware of parking!!!

We had a lovely time in L’isle Sur la Sourge, the town and the property were beautiful. Pros: Very central location Great food and drink availability Clean property Great communication Well equipped Cons: There is no guaranteed parking space for the property and there is very limited free parking options, the ones available get full very quickly and some days mean you have to battle to find a spot or park 15 minutes walk away in the train station parking. Bear in mind we visited outside of the UK tourists arriving which would make it even harder. Stairs - it is useful to know that there are quite steep stairs up to the property and then steep, narrow stairs up to the bedrooms and bathroom. Large luggage is difficult to maneuver up the stairs and they would be difficult for anyone with any mobility issues or young kids. Despite these couple of limitations we still had a very enjoyable time staying at Catherine’s property.

beautiful, historic home

One of two appartments , ideally situated , close to everything. Incredibly quiet and the fans were wonderful (the temps were high). Great appliances and we were warmly greeted;thank you , Catherine. Parking ; sometimes a challenge, but we found and frequently used Portelet; loved our time there and yes, would return.

Belle maison de ville idéalement située

La maison a été restaurée avec soin, elle est meublée avec goût et bien équipée. Même par grosse chaleur elle reste confortable et la petite cours fermée est un endroit parfait pour prendre les repas et profiter du beau temps. Catherine s'occupe très bien de la maison et a laissé à la disposition de ses hôtes des livres, des DVD et des jeux de société. Elle a tout fait pour que notre séjour soit agréable. Elle nous a même accueillis avec des fruits et des aromates de son jardin. Nous la remercions tous pour cet excellent moment que nous avons passé à l'Isle sur Sorgue.
