Your private enclosed garden with trees lined with deckchairs will also seduce you.
ISLE SUR LA SORGUE, colored with green and water, this city-island set at the foot of the Vaucluse plateau, in the plain of the Venetian county is crossed by several canals fed by the sorgue. The city is famous for its Antique dealers, its Provencal market, its Sunday flea markets. And the multitude of renowned summer festivals: Theater, dance, lyric art, classical music, jazz etc ... The river stretches its two long arms around the city and you will appreciate all its charm while strolling along its canals which weave between the narrow and ancient streets.

Very pleasant place

The hosts were super helpful and always available. The property is within a pleasant walk along the river into the town, and the apartment has everything you might need, including a swimming pool in the compound.

Wohlfühlen, entspannen und erholen

Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung (Olivier) über der Vermieterwohnung. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Neben dem bekannten Markt am Sonntag Vormittag in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue ist diese Lokation ein zentraler Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge per Auto oder Fahrrad. Sehr empfehlenswert die Radstrecke auf einer ehem. Bahntrasse von z.Zt. Robion (es fehlen noch ca.5km bis Cavaillon) bis über Apt hinaus. Ausflüge nach Les Beaux de Provence mit der Illumination Show (sehenswert), Beaucaire, sehr schön die Gorges de la Nesque mit Monieux, Roussillon, Gorges, Abbey de Sénanque, Fontaines de Vaucluse und etwas weiter aber wunderschön, Moustier Ste-Marie, Gorges du Verdon and Lac Saint-Croix.

Vive l'amitié !

Vive l'amitié ! Wir haben 3 Wochen lang einen wundervollen Ferienaufenthalt in Isle sur la Sorgue bei Madame Leita Grumel und ihrem Ehemann Joel verbracht. Das Haus ist Dank der zugesandten Wegbeschreibung außerordentlich leicht zu finden. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, speziell die Küche, es mangelt an nichts. Trotz naher Autostraße RD 901 ist vom Lärm nichts zu hören. Den sehr gepflegten Pool- und Gartenbereich konnten wir ohne weiteres mitbenutzen. Die Wohnung liegt sehr günstig, da man in ca 20 min zu Fuß entlang der Sorgue die Stadtmitte erreichen kann. Parkplatzprobleme gibt es in der Stadt daher keine. Der Aufenthalt wurde Dank der Gastfreundschaft des Vermieters-Ehepaares zu einem einmaligen Erlebnis. Vielen Dank für die vielen nützlichen Tipps zur Erkundung der Umgebung der Stadt und der Region. Eine Wohnung zum Wiederkommen ! Gaby und Matthias

...mit charmantem, zuvorkommendem Vermieter-Ehepaar präzise, leicht nachvollziehbare Wegbeschreibung gut eingerichtet bezgl. Küchen-, Ess-, Nacht- und Hygiene-Bedarf ruhig trotz naher Autostrasse bekamen Einladung zu Pool- und Garten-Mitbenutzung sehr zu empfehlen

Très très bien

Séjour agréable dans cette magnifique région. Location bien située et surtout au calme. Appartement bien entretenu et très propre. Propriétaire très sympathique, serviable et de très bons conseils. Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Bons restaurants dans la ville, (chinois, pyramide Pizza et bien d'autres). A voir, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gorde, Rousillon, Avignon, St-Rémi-de-Provence et les Baux de Provence.

Excellent séjour dans un lieu très agréable

Mon mari et moi avons grandement apprécié notre séjour à l'Isle-sur-la Sorgue chez Madame Grumel. Les indications pour nous rendre étaient claires et précises. La location était charmante, très propre, très tranquille. Nous avons aimé le jardin privatif avec sa pelouse, l'ombre et son mobilier. Un petit coin de paradis! La piscine et ses abords était aussi un lieu des plus agréables. On partage cet endroit mais il suffit que les autres hôtes soient sympathiques pour lier conversation à l'heure du bain. Les propriétaires sont discrets mais proches si on a besoin d'un renseignement ou de quelque chose. La seule petite note qui nous a déçus à l'arrivée et, chose que l'on ne voit pas sur les photos, était le fait d'avoir une vue directe sur le parking de notre voiture! On espérait une vue sur le jardin! Mais on s'y fait. Et le jardin est juste à côté. Naturellement les environs sont enchanteurs! L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue n'a pas besoin de commentaires, ni la région. Nous ne pouvons que vivement recommander cette location. Pierre et Marguerite Senay
