La Bisbal is famous for ceramics, the lovely medieval villages of Pals and Peratellada boasts many historic buildings. Empuries has the most extensive Greco and Roman ruins and the small village of St Marti has many good restaurants offering local food and wines of the region. The resort offers the opportunity for water sports, horse riding and scuba diving. Also Internet is available.
