Very nice , hotel , staff are very friendly and happy to help with organising excursions and tours ! The coast / beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away . The hotel has a nice roof pool with some sun loungers which is also nice but compact . The gym facility is the biggest let down , firstly it is not enclosed , as it is located above the lobby as part of the upper lobby circumference , so anyone moving in or out of the hotel looks up . Then the equipment is standard , 2 thread mills , bikes and broken 1990s multi gym unit which doesn’t really work and a broken weight bentch , in Europe this equipment would be remove for health and safety . Overall it’s a great place to stay , certainly the best in the area for business stay .
Was on an escorted tour group of 29. Hotel room was very nice and I had a view towards the ocean and of the surrounding city area. Room was on 8th floor. Breakfast was very good, bar area was nice. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, dont think the hotel itself did meals other than breakfast.
No balcony..had to pay for parking..no pool due to renovations...worst view ever..shoebox room..breakfast average..no room service offered..staff were friendly tho...elevators kept breaking...15minute walk to the beach.
They are very close to the Gateway Mall which gives you close access to may shops, restaurants. The rooms are modern, clean and good for a stay-over. Staff is friendly and professional. As they are close to traffic and a lot of entertainment (restaurants) it is very loud and noisy at night, especially on weekends. Breakfast buffer as per all large hotels. The are approximately 20 minutes from the airport.
The Hotel offers good food, although i would've been happy if the menu changed. The Hotel is also surrounded by very interesting places, one of them being the gateway Mall. I enjoyed their Lamb Burger and dessert offerings.
I stayed for 2 nights in a family room with my kids aged 10 & 11. Room was decent. No major issues. Hotel is opposite the Gateway Mall and is conveniently located. The only major issue is the check-in process. There is nobody to direct you, parking for checkin is a nightmare.. There is no designated dropoff zone/ checkin zone and because of this, I would consider other hotels first. The front reception was painfully slow at check-in and incredibly frustrating.. Give this one a miss
Room was large and bright, duplex lots of room to work & relax, bath was a little small and could have had more Coffee - Tea supplies as had fridge & microwave. Gym was small but compact could have more jogging machines & free weights. Breakfast was good and coffee shop staff friendly & attentive.
We stayed at this hotel for a few nights as part of a longer family holiday. The hotel is clean and the rooms are very nice, quite business like but nice nonetheless. It is located in a really good spot with lots of restaurants and shops right outside, including the mall which is excellent. You are also a 5 min taxi from the beach which is stunning. We didn't eat in the hotel at all but we did go for drinks a few times at night and during the day and the service was pretty poor as they don't keep someone on the bar and so you could be standing there for 10mins waiting for them, one night there was someone in the bar and we still waited 5 mins for them to acknowledge that we were there. One of the days we ordered a bucket of beers to the pool area and they brought them up unopened and with no bottle opener in sight. The pool is on the roof and to be honest it's a plunge pool in that it's tiny, so if a decent pool is a must don't book this hotel. We went for massage treatments when we were there, the women are so intimidating it's unreal but as the prices were so low we thought we would give it a try, the actual treatment was amazing but I felt very uncomfortable as the women came into the room so awkwardly and were laughing a lot and speaking African. Overall it's a nice hotel and is very clean.
This was a great return visit, needed for sure after arriving from an international flight. My 87 year old partner was well catered for, ad we were allocated a special disabled persons room on the first floor. We have stayed at this hotel before, and found the bar and restaurant facilities good value as always. The hotel location opposite Gateway Shopping Centre is a convenient boon to all. The friendly and welcoming staff certainly made our short overnight stay most pleasurable. next morning we felt renewed and refreshed to continue our journey.
We were booked into this hotel to spend the last two nights with my sister before she left for Australia. On arrival the reception staff were helpful and pleasant. The butler was polite and helped with the bags as soon as we were handed our key. It is a great location and close to malls, beach and other hotels. housekeeping was great and everything was always clan and tidy It was a pleasure to stay at this establishment.
