Hotel was good, enjoyed my stay. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast had a good variety which set you up nicely for the day ahead. Location of hotel is great, walking distance to square with several shops and restaurants, transport links very close by also. Unfortunately sauna was out of service whilst I was there (8-10th December) and gym facilities were very limited. Only had one meal in the restaurant but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I had one of the apartment/suites which was very spacious with a large comfortable bed.
We stayed for two weeks. Best breakfast ever. Perfect location. The bar and Lucaz the bartender are awesome. Never had a bad meal or a bad drink. Service was awesome! Same day laundry and Super clean rooms.
Following on from a poor review I was forced to leave elsewhere last night - I am delighted to leave a positive review of this hotel that I spent nearly three weeks in. Nothing was too much for the staff during my stay, but a special shout out to Lucasz the barman who looked after our party really well indeed! Thanks!
Totally surprised by the comfortable, quiet and spacious nature of our accommodations. When our host booked us into a Holiday Inn, we were a bit skeptical as were not sure what to expect, but the facility was new, well appointed and had a very accommodating staff. The lounge and hotel bar were inviting. Try the bison grass vodka, a national speciality that is very tasty! The breakfast was very nice and the waitstaff responsive.
The good - Ok rooms. Good breakfast. Great service at the bar. The bad - can get noisy if your room is on the church side or if there is a party downstairs. Good luck getting sleep. The ugly - rudest front desk by the name of Adrian. Why this guy is working at a hotel I have no idea. Summary - there are other better choices in the city
Just back from this hotel it's as good as everyone says good modern layout staff very helpful and there Command of English is good not like our polish Lucas the barman he gets a special mention because of the good night we had in the bar. Only complaint was the price of breakfast at £13 we thought was a bit steep but it was good and plenty full Bydgoszcz is a lovely place but Turin is a must go and see 3/4 of an hour on the bus and the fair is buttons
We stayed for 2 nights on our way to the Baltic Sea.I booked an executive room which are regularly sized rooms on the top,i.e.3 Rd floor of the hotel.I was not further upgraded as IHG spire elite as the hotel was booked up due to a wedding party they had that weekend. The room was rather small but very practically set up and the design was extremely chic more like the design hotels competing chains have. It was mostly white and the decors looked expensive.i was told that the regular rooms are the same size but in a more classical style. The breakfast was very good. They do have a very cozy and chic bar with an outdoor garden. There is underground parking.the hotel is walking distance to the old town ,main square and the Mill river island.it must have been recently opened as everything looked brand new. Rates were appropriate taking into account the hotel's booking situation. They do have a large garden terrace with grill which was unfortunately closed.all in all I would say the best hotel in bydgosc.
... i have every stayed. It is a very new hotel. The rooms and bathroom is very clean and in a very good shape. The breakfast was fresh and very good. Shoudl i come back to Bydgoszcz, it the my first choice to stay.
Holiday Inn is relatively new hotel and the premises are in very good shape. The room is modern and nice, but very small. In my opinion, the room is so small that it spoils the whole stay to a certain degree. It is very unconvinient just to move in the room. The room was very noisy because of the traffic from the street. I stayed on Saturday night and the traffic was not heavy at all. Windows used to construct the hotel were for sure cheap. The breakfast is average. Ok but nothing to write home about. In overall, the stay in Holiday Inn did not match my expectations because of the tiny and noisy room. It is a shame because the hotel looks pretty nice both from the inside and outside.
Stayed here for a week when working in the area and it's the best hotel I've stayed at for a while now. All the staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are big and modern with good wifi all over the hotel. The room service was good and the bar is a nice space for a couple of drinks in the evening. The hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the town which has loads of nice places to eat and drink, there surely has to be something for everyone. Highly recommend this hotel and won't hesitate to stay again when I visit later this year!
