This was my first stay at the Marina for five or six years and my fond memories of the property were rekindled. Although now getting on for 14 years old, the unique atmosphere of the hotel, tranquility, safety and spaciousness is unchanged. The staff, from receptionists to security guards and wait staff are still among the best trained in the region and genuinely care. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed although the marble floors may come as a surprise to some - I personally like them. The breakfast buffet is excellent and unusually offers my Gulf favourite, lemon and mint juice. The location is out if this world and is truly relaxing as you will appreciate gett8ng back in the afternoon from meetings in the city. To sit on your balcony and watch the sub go down is truly magic. The pools and nearby beach will prove popular with families.

As you get older you tend to wake up feeling more creaky than when you went to bed....except here it seems, I 've just had 5 great nights sleep, woken to gaze out over the beach, put on my robe and wandered down to the pool. Buffet breakfast and lunch, usually with the attentive Rosie replenishing my cup/glass. The Wednesday night pool barbeque is like something you see in a film! Really good service, great location.... ( great mattress, delicious food, amazing choice of sweets at lunchtime, downside is I shall to improve my own cooking skills, very well equipped gym..., main pool fab as the whole of it was 2m deep a great view of city skyline, , free wifi brilliant in the room and dining area )

I would like to thank everyone at the Marina hotel for 6 fun and enjoyable days. Our kids had a blast, really enjoyed themselves with the family area pool and the in room fruits that seem to keep coming ;) great location

Its a slightly stark echoing lobby and restaurant area but the service is excellent and the buffet breakfast very good indeed. The pools offer laps or leisure swimming and the beach is a good area too. The mall is nearby for food and shopping and the conference facilities make it even better. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Ok, first of all, Location, Location, Location. This Hotel is located on the Gulf Coast, has pools, gym and a beautiful beach! it has the feel of a resort with all the amenities. This service here is second to none! First they offer complimentary airport transfers from and to the airport. The rooms are huge, comfy and with a view of the gulf coast. Upon check-in, there was a nice basket of fresh fruit awaiting. Think that is it? now, they refilled the fresh fruit dish daily and provided a plate of wonderful tasting prunes daily as well. Bottled water was provided daily free of charge also. Now, On to the breakfast Buffet... Delish, perfectly prepared and fresh prepared, the choice is yours from a fresh cooked omelette or eggs, to breads, cheese, and sweets. The staff, and in particular Rabih was so attentive to the breakfast diners. Rabih gets to know his clients and ensures you are treated like a king. He poured my coffee and put it at my favorite table shortly after entering, and refilled it at the right time! Thank you Rabih, and all the staff of the Marina Hotel, Kuwait City!

I was a family of 3 adults and 1 child (My husband and I, my daughter and a nanny). We have booked in 2 deluxe pool access room. The nanny was in a room on her own as a hotel guest NOT a visitor! She was a fully paid guest. However, the hotel refused that she uses any of the hotel's privileges which is using the pool / health club etc. They said "other guests / members don't like it when nannies (of certain nationalities) to be in the pool". How is it acceptable that a hotel will refuse their guest to use their health club/ pool just because of their nationality and job ?! It is inhuman of them to treat a PAYING guest who had check-in and had their OWN room (not even an extra bed!) this way. The pool guy came up to her and mistreated her and embarrassed her. He told her to get out of the pool without even asking her any questions just purely due to her asian looks. Other remarks: hotel rooms are outdated. It is a 5-star hotel that has ceramic floors but no floor carpet!

I stayed at the Marina Hotel for a two day business trip. The location of the hotel was great. Across the parking lot is access to the Marina Crescent of several restaurants and a few shops. Connected via an enclosed walkway, is a rather large shopping mall that makes it easy for those wanting to do some shopping. The hotel itself is very modern and comfortable. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable and actually quite large. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and very comprehensive, including breakfast dishes from multiple countries. I would definitely stay here on my next trip.

stayed there only one night. The reception gave me the best choice for me and the family. Room view was nice. What I really most liked about the hotel is the breakfast with so many choices it was just amazing. Room was really clean. Also i liked the direct access to the pool. One negative thing is the parking policy.

Lowely atmosphere, service excellent especially the restaurant well managed by Mr. Rabih during the breakfast, All personnel kind and efficient starting by the reception. I Felt like my home, I wish to come back,

Stayed at the Marina again for five days. For business travellers, who want to relax after an exhausting summer day of 45 degrees, hotel is the perfect choice: very privileged location on a small peninsula, extremely polite, helpful and discrete staff (pool guard, restaurant manager, reception desk are remarkable), very good variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner bufetts (compliment to the kitchen, improvement noticed!). Instead of staying at a boring inner city hotel, enjoy the generous pool landscape, the opportunity to walk at the beach or, if necessary, shopping and restaurant at the nearby Marina Mall without hustling through the traffic.
