As good as it gets in Kuwait City, convenient to most buildings in the city and not far from the Corniche to go get dinner at the Marina or around. it's also a short walk to a lot of other hotels for more dinner choice if you are there for more than a week
I spent 10 days in this hotel. I really enjoyed every minute. Rooms are spacious and nice. Restaurant is very nice too. Food is delicious and varied (Indian, Chinese, Arabic and European food). Deserts are sublime. Overall staff is very professional and so attentive. You feel at same time as privileged and at home! Special mention to Bishma in the restaurant team. A great professional.
We had lunch at the crossroads restaurant today at the JW Marriott Kuwait. We used the hotel's Parking Lot, free of charge since we were lunching at the restaurant. There was a valet parking free of charge too but we preferred self parking. The Restaurant is on the ground level, you get to see the main street as a view! The seating area was nice, the seats were comfortable, the colors of the restaurant were bright and classy. Since it was a Saturday, there was an Open Buffet option. The presentation was fantastic, BUT, not much of a variety especially in the salad/appetizers and main course. Though I must admit the appetizers were much better than the main course, at least the items they had on the appetizers were super delicious, but main course, not really that fascinating, even though they had 3 stations for live cooking, one for indian tandoor, a second for pasta, and a third for fish. We only tried the tandoor and was little undercooked but the taste was great Deserts were delicious. the pistachio cheesecake they had was INCREDIBLE , so light and yummy. Overall, it was a lovely time spent, nice service, good food, but very poor main course choices. Price was, definitely pricey !! I might go again though, just might, because of their great service
Normally I wouldn’t aim quite this high (expense-wise) as regards a hotel on business but I got a deal through an airline and it made a nice change to stay in fairly luxurious surroundings: this hotel is pretty impressive from the moment you enter the palatial lobby. As you’d expect, the service from every member of staff was impeccable and yet genuinely friendly. I tried both the grill and the open buffet restaurants and the food was of supreme quality in both (the roti made from scratch on request to accompany my curry was above and beyond for me). Not the cheapest admittedly but you just have to let go of such thoughts - it just doesn’t fit in with hotels like this. My room was large, extremely comfortable in every sense and joy of joys, had a bath in its wall-to-wall-marble bathroom. I’m not always going to be able to justify the cost of the Marriott when visiting Kuwait but I’ll be keeping an eye open for any deals because I’d go back with pleasure.
Stayed here on business for 4 nights, and I have to say, it is a fantastic hotel. A very good choice of restaurants too. The rooms are great, and very clean. The staff are so very professional and friendly. There is also a very good gym and pool at the hotel.
From arrival to departure, the service was one of the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere. The room was spotless and the amenities are bountiful. The staff were highly professional and catered to every need. The restaurant was delicious and the executive lounge was awesome. The pool was nice and clean and came with a balcony that offered an amazing view of the city. I am excited to return.
I arrived very late due to delays at the airport and a traffic accident on the road from the airport. What a shame as we did not have a lot of time to enjoy this beautiful hotel. Very comfortable rooms beautifully laid out and not too ostentatious. Breakfast was very good. I hope to return soon. For a proper look around Kuwait City.
Had a quick stay at JW Marriott hotel in Kuwait city. The staff are very fiendly. Room is clean. Wonderful breakfast. Extra convenient Airport transfer free services. Very decent hotel. I will come back.
Living in the Middle East I sometimes become sceptical of 5 star Hotels as everyone seems to have 5 stars! So it’s refreshing to actually find one. From an excellent welcome, regular courtesy checks without being invasive I really enjoyed the stay. Little touches like fresh fruit being delivered to your room, great amenities and excellent room service really make the difference. The room was large and spotlessly clean with a great range of tv channels and good internet speed. It ended this morning with an over indulgent choice at breakfast and a pleasant farewell and complimentary transfer back to the airport. Well done Marriott Kuwait. I look forward to coming back.
