i had my wedding there ..the staff are great especially shagi and jennifer they were veeeery helpful.. the hall is amazing and everything was perfect.. they upgraded us but the room wasnt thaaaat wow..it was fine.. ask for a room that doesnt overlook the graveyard as there is an old graveyard next to it
One night here. Superb staff. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms large and spotless. Bed super king and comfortable. Pool on the roof was small but adequate especially in 40 degrees. Gym had all you needed even a rowing machine that many gyms don't.
Luckily for Marriott, this hotel is located in downtown Kuwait; a very practical destination for business visits. Unfortunately, the hotel really is quite old and tired. Even the renovated rooms are bland and average. Curtains don't block fully out the light in the morning. Bathrooms are basic, showers flood the bathroom.Good Japanese restaurant in the lobby and the main buffet is good too.
JW Marriott Hotel Kuwait City very good in every respect close to many points of interest secured clean great house keeping nice reception staff lovely restaurants large wide ball rooms we have wedding party in it
Had dinner at the Terrace Grill. Still one of the best places to get a good steak. Nice ambiance, great service. Need reservations specially for weekends. A little on the expensive side but definitely worth a try
Great location and clean hotel in the heart of Kuwait City, free internet, fantastic breakfast, great for family and cupels , swimming pool is in 6 floor and and it's okay, shopping center down the hotel, alhamra mall just cross the road, great steak in the Italian restaurant, expensive
I stay here quite often and love this hotel. The staff is tops! The rooms are incredibly nice, and the hotel is joined with the mall which is nice to go shopping. This is an incredibly Nice hotel. Very generous people there. There was nothing at all to complain about and I've stayed here many times.
They are always generous, welcoming and helpful. As a marriott reward member I always get the most of the membership there. They renovated the resultant for breakfast it became modern and offers good food with good seating setup. This hotel is attached to al salhia shopping mall which offers top fashions, accessories for both men and women, jewelry and many coffee shops are there and around the area all are within walking distance.
I am very picky, and I stay all over the world. This is the first time I have not been able to find a single thing to complain about. I had a lovely two-room suite. The room is dead quiet. Both bathrooms were well appointed and spacious. The wifi is flawless and you can stream. The cable includes BBC and CNN. The beds and linens are comfortable. The room has an iron and board. The room service food included the best shrimp biryani I have ever eaten in my life, so good I ordered it three times. The breakfast room is serene and uncrowded. And the staff are courteous and attentive to any need or request. I cannot imagine how they could improve. I would definitely stay there next time.
What more can I say? Yet another great stay at the Kuwait JW. Extremely helpful and cheerful staff throughout, everyone greeted me warmly. Stand out employees of Shirley at the front desk, Irene in the Executive Lounge, Racquel in the fitness center always go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. I look forward to my next visit here!
