Compact standardized rooms in general good condition. Noise proofing must be increased, it is possible to hear a lot from neighboring rooms through the walls, more than you would expect. Good buffet breakfast but some items have been removed since my first stay there in July 2016.
Ibis Sharq Kuwait 4 Rooms my friends from emirates stayed it they been allocated in a sperate floors service good for it is class front desk good service room service also house keeping okay bell men service slow
Excellent Hotel , Nice Rooms and Location , Clean Rooms , Fast Service . The hotel was lovely and clean, hotel staff friendly and helpful. WiFi at this hotel was good. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. IBIS is the best .
Booked Ibis Sharq for a business client and he was disappointed with the room to say the least. Missing amenities - no bathroom slippers , bathroom kit missing. Room in itself was small compared to other Ibis hotels. The only saving grace was the complimentary breakfast which was a wide spread. Also, while we booked the room with visa in advance on the day of arrival we were told that the hotel was booked. We had to personally visit and ensure we were given the room. This despite a mail being sent about arrival exactly two days prior as instructed by the guest relations office. Very shoddy service on their part and inconvenience since was had to visit it before arrival of our guest and ensure we were given the rooms. Horrible and don’t think I’ll be booking for any further business visitors to Kuwait !
IBIS Sharq is a nice boutique hotel. We stayed here for 1 night and the room was quite comfortable though compact. The hotel and service is quite good and the price is quite reasonable compared to other hotels in Kuwait. As with most hotels in the region, one has to pay for things like shaving kits and travel adapters. The breakfast here is wonderful and Chef Mamoud was a superlative host. He was there to attend to every guest personally and created some wonderful delights for me. He made sure my breakfast was the highlight of my stay at the IBIS. For late evening, the hotel is located next to Al Hamra mall which houses some of the best brands in Kuwait. Though expensive, you can shop for the best of designer stuff. Right next to the hotel , there is also a very good vegetarian restaurant. Overall , loved my stay here!!!
The quaitness and cleaning is very good and the reciption was so helpful esp.mr.Hisham And its near to the sea and important criteria in kuwait such as mubarkeeah soukand kuwait bridges and gives u a difrant resturants around the hotel
Thankyou...Mohammed and Beberley ....you are a credit to your hotel.when things are not right or things go wrong you always get them sorted with a smile and a sincere apology. I choose to come to your hotel because of the staff.
Well, when I am out for a business travel, I always prefer to stay in a place, which is closer to business districts. In that account IBIS Sharq, I believe has an excellent location. In the middle of Kuwait city and with a walking distance from Al Hamra towers, IBIS is indeed a perfect business hotel. I stayed in a standard room so I cannot be right in saying that it was a luxurious stay. However, the hotel room is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and mostly belong to India so you don't get zonked out listening to Arabic. Kuwait Towers, the most happening place in Kuwait is close by and you can get a taxi for 1KD (Kuwaiti Dinar) to that place while you are staying. The food served in-house is decent if not luxurious.
As expected accommodations in Kuwait are very expensive. Ibis Sharq is very comfortable to stay with & nearby Kuwait Towers & also Burj Al Hamra is just stone throw away. Mr. Hesham Ashour is very helpful & awesome guy.
Room and hotel were as expected, comfy and no frills, however the staff were all excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention to the restaurant staff and the managers of that area who were nothing but friendly and helpful, along with producing a quite exceptional menu. Would go back and absolutely recommend.
