Nice courteous staff, good food. good vegetarian Indian food was available in buffet breakfast which helped me being a vegetarian :). In lunch and dinner options were available with egg. Distance wise Around 20 minutes drive from airport. While coming hotel could not arrange for airport pick up, however as a friendly gesture hotel paid the taxi expenses. A nice comfortable stay.
I stayed in this hotel for one night for business. Check in was so bad. my company reserved a non smoking king size room but unfortunately the reception told me that they didnt receive the request. Actually it might not be the recepcionists fault but my collague made the same reservation from the same system and he got a nonsmoking king size bed room away from the elevator. exactly like my request. Eventually they offered me an Upgrade!! with twin beds. I think if that room was the upgraded one, I dont even want to think of the standard room. I think they gave me a standard room just to cheat me since my collagues roome was exaclty same with king bed. I dont think it was a real upgrade!! The furnitures are very old. Beds are uncomfortable.bathroom is moderate. If i comment on the price over value, it is not the proper place to stay with this price.
Courtyard Marriot is centrically located and points to that. It's in the center, especially for business purposes. Also for leisure, many sightseeings and souks are well located. I was there during holy month of Ramadan so cannot say much about restaurants, but seems to be good selection. Rooms are decent and quiet, a bit old fashioned but functional. Tidiness of rooms is good and all other necessities available. Hotel has both nice gym and outdoor pool. As gym enthustiastic I got many things done well. The hotel has straight portal to nearest Mall. Surprise for me was that I didn't get a so-typical-Gulf-region piccolo service with luggage neither check-in nor check out?! Hope this gets better in future. In sum: good hotel in brilliant location. Worth staying, should I say.
The room was good and comfortable, excellent location in heart of the city. Very approachable. Good view from room many nearby restaurants around the hotel. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The mall is interconnected to the hotel which is very convenient to the guest.
Excellent hotel in a great location. Rooms are very good standard. I didn't get a chance to use the pool or the gym but the other public rooms were first class Only comment I have to make is that the lifts are a bit quirky - you cannot select a floor once in the lift! A few people in the hotel ended up going to the wrong floor! Thoroughly recommend if you need a comfortable base whilst visiting Kuwait
First of all it is difficult to find this hotel due to lack of signage and construction works going on around the hotel. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor and had a dull feel to it. There are a few good restaurants in the hotel.
Got upgraded to a suite which was appreciated after a very late flight. The staff were very helpful with everything I needed and were very welcoming. Breakfast has a big variety and is located in a nice open-space.
And I needed the upgrade. It was my 1st trip to Kuwait and it wasn't planned. I arrived at 3:00 A.M extremely tired. Maybe the staff noticed the fatigue I was passing through that they decided to upgrade my stay. The suite composed of a living room and a bedroom. Everything seemed in place and organized. The bed is pretty comfortable that I just didn't want to leave it. Breakfast buffet had a very wide selection. Internet is free of charge but a bit slow.
Excellent hotel , friendly and helful staff. Relaxing atmosphere. The gym was small but nice, their breakfast was great. The bed is so comfy, there is a mall connected to the hotel which is great, Overall it was excellent Thank you
This time I really enjoyed the housekeeping and concierge service. They are very good. I had art towels in my room a couple of days made by talented Homit which really made me happy The concierge were very helpful; some were Mamdouh and Reda. The rest of the team were just as nice as always. Thank you everybody.
