The Hotel was friendly and helpful. I was lucky to have a great view over the city and out over the Arabian Gulf, with a good view of the sun going down around 6.30 pm. After that it was possible to eat, being Ramadan, although you could order room service. I found the choices more interesting in the inter connected Mall so tended to eat dinner there in preference to the choices on the Menu. There is a nice cafe in the foyer in the evenings. Breakfast was very good. The swimming pool was clean and nice but better on a Friday and Saturday when you do not get all the horn noise from the streets below. Room cleaning was a little erratic. Although there were lots of channels the T.V was a little limited with news channels mostly the only option for an english speaker. I liked the room and found the desk and lay out useful. It is a shame the windows are so dirty but that seems to be a normal state in very high rise Hotels in the Middle East. Personally I would have liked more character to the Hotel and a little less bland modernity. However, it is clearly a popular and well-liked Hotel with regular guests which is always a good sign. Also, the staff are really nice.
We stayed at The Courtyard by Marriot in 2 connected rooms (Single & Twin)for two nights, the hotel is quiet and beautiful, its location is excellent and close to many services, restaurants and shops as well as its connection to Al Raya Mall where many restaurants, cafes and other retail shops were available. The check-in and check-out procedures from the hotel were very easy and quick as the staff were very kind and cooperative. I loved the spacious and comfortable room. The cost of accommodation was very reasonable once compare to other Hotels in Kuwait from the same level. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers.
Hotel is central location, Rooms clean, staff polite , my room was noisy due being on 4th floor and lots of traffic noise outside. Unfortunately my bed was very firm akin to sleeping on a plank of wood.
I spent two nights at the Courtyard Marriott on a business trip. The hotel has a central location and the staff was overall friendly. The hotel is however old and in need of refurbishment. The room was freezing and it took forever for the heater to work. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The furniture is stuck somewhere in the ‘90s. The hotel could use a little uplift to modernize it.
Courtyard by Marriott is a 4 Stars Hotel with 5 stars services. The location is in the heart of the business district and can just walk around to major government offices and big companies. Excellent staff and excellent food. Ideal for business men and value for money.
This is not your standard Courtyard. Known for its minimalist, business-friendly room, this is more like a full-service hotel. My one-bedroom suite was spacious and the fitness room had a large variety of machines and free weights. Service was also exception with high personal touch and great English skills. The Marriott burger in the restaurant was also up to standards of what you would find at a full-service Marriott.
The location of the hotel basically in the hart of Kuwait. 2 things i liked the most of this hotel: 1/service and staff. 2/ delicious breakfast meal with variety of choices. Good 4 stars hotel , which i recommend to stay for a weekend in Kuwait. Thanks
