Really nice spa and buffet! This is a large hotel that pays attention to detail. The staff are excellent and friendly, multiple languages spoken wit hi in the hotel staff. The spa is very impressive, and worth the price of the hotel. Buffet food is excellent in taste and quality, very hard to do on such a large scale, but Tsuruga at Akan does it splendidly. I had a very wonderful experience from check in to check out.
Stayed as a couple for 2 nights. The decorations were aplenty upon entering the lobby whilst the double room itself was quite simple in comparison. The facilities such as the private/family onsen were very clean and well maintained. The included buffet breakfast and dinner were an added bonus. Be aware this is a hotel that seems to house several tour groups as we encountered many throughout our stay. I'd like to highlight the helpful staff of the hotel, especially to staff member Kitaya at the front desk. He went above and beyond with all our requests and even helped track down my lost camera from the public bus.
