We had unforgettable memories there, it was really and truly nice and lovely Resort. You can find whatever you need there at hotel, so many great restaurants, great foods, great landscapes specially the sun set, good staffs, interesting night entertainments and etc! We were there 2015 Sep!

Stayed for two weeks 11-25 October 2017. This hotel would definitely have merited a 5 star rating when it first opened, but now requires major investment. The grounds of the hotel, pool and beach areas are well maintained and the view from the majority of the bedrooms and dining room is outstanding. The dining room is badly in need of a makeover, both in terms of decor, soft furnishings and table linen. For example, the walls are drab, the chairs are old fashioned, badly stained with scratched woodwork. The tables are wobbly, even with napkins under some of the legs, and the linen is appalling. The table cloths often looked as if they had not been ironed and, all of the ugly plastic paper napkin holders on the tables we sat at, were extremely grubby. Table cloths were not changed during a sitting, so if you were not the first to sit at a table, it was pot luck as to whether or not the table cloth would be stained. Linen serviettes were also never replaced during the evening meal, and generally tables were only cleared at the END of the meal, resulting in tables littered with dirty dishes for an unacceptable length of time. Place settings consisted of a knife and a fork and occasionally a wine glass. The food was the worst we have experienced, and we have visited Turkey six times. Chicken and turkey are served every lunch-time and dinner and, occasionally, supplemented with veal. The fare was definitely more appealing to Turkish, Iranian and Eastern European palates, as the few British guests we spoke to found the food both unappetising and unappealing. Perhaps this is the reason why Thomas Cook have now withdrawn this hotel from their programme. I twice requested a meeting with the general manager to discuss my grievances, but was told he was unavailable. Personally, I consider that the lack of management presence in and around the hotel a major factor in why this hotel no longer merits its current rating. A well run hotel will ALWAYS have management in evidence, ensuring that a high level of service is being delivered and an excellent degree of customer satisfaction is being maintained. May I suggest that management visit the Barut group of hotels where they can witness, first hand, excellent customer service, resulting in a very high proportion of repeat guests. Indeed the management of these hotels make it a point to chat to guests and welcome feedback from them on how they can improve on the excellent service already being offered. The 24 hour bar is dismal because of the poor lighting - the bar area itself is practically unlit! The staff, however, are attentive and eager to please. Please do not expect pina coladas as part of the all inclusive package. I was quoted 30T.lira for this tipple. Indeed, only cocktails containing vodka and gin are on offer. The entertaining programme during the day was varied and enjoyable. However, the evening entertainment held in a grotty disco was abysmal. For example, it was either cancelled or a very poor quality animation show offered. Only one professional act in two weeks! In fairness, this hotel was inexpensive, reinforcing you only get what you pay for! However, when a hotel advertises itself as a 5* establishment, guests expect 5* service and ambience. Perhaps when the hotel rating is downgraded, as will surely happen in the near future, customer expection will mirror this and less disappointment will be experienced. Would we return - No! No! No!

We stayed for a week in October. Arriving in the early hours of the morning (3am) we were escorted to our rooms. First initial thought was pleasant apart from we had two single beds instead of a double when we'd booked a double. We were so tired tho we just got into bed and went to sleep. Rooms were average. Dated, stained carpets, the main lamp in our room didn't work but just aswell seems it had black electrical tape around the wire for it. Not good at all. Also our door fob for our electricity came off the wall. We told them and from what we could make out it had just been pushed back on. The room was extremely hot even with air con on we had to keep the balcony doors open to be able to go to sleep. Definitely wouldn't want to be in a room like this mid season. My mums room was a lot cooler as she was the opposite side so had less of the sunshine facing onto her room.. Beautiful breathtaking views. Fantastic pool. Although nothing there to entertain young children. No slides or anything and beach was man made with steps to get into sea, so not safe or suitable for young children. We lasted 10 minutes on there and went back up to the pool with my 4yr old. Even though we were all inclusive we still managed to spend £600 spending money throughout the week as we had to go elsewhere to give some fun and entertainment to my boy. We visited the ladies beach twice, went to tortuga water park and also went out for something different to eat on our last night as the food was so repetitive. I was sick of the sight of chicken. Drinks are limited also. Get tired of drinking the same thing. People keep saying you get what you pay for but this holiday wasn't cheap for us. We paid £2000 and I expected alot more 2bh. Definitely more of a couple type holiday than a family one. Kids entertainment in the evening was terrible. It was meant to last for an hour but all it was was they would sing and dance to one or two songs with the children then that was it. The kids would be left just running around to their own means. Also having to pay £55 for an extra 6 hours on our last day in our room as we weren't getting picked up til 7pm was atrocious also. Considering we didn't arrive until the early hours of the weds morning. We would of got kicked out 12pm Tuesday.. I was annoyed that the company we booked with put us in this hotel and assured me I wouldn't be disappointed. I said I wanted something kid friendly as we were going away specifically for my sons birthday and we got the opposite to what we asked for. It's fair to say I won't be booking thorough an online company again. However, we didn't let these negatives spoil our time in turkey. We still had a lovely holiday. Just the management need to seriously up there game if they are to live up to the 5* expectations. Refurbishment of rooms and bar being number one priority. Would I return as a family holiday again?? No. As a couple? Maybe..

After many years going to Turkey on our annual holidays, Fantasia has completely blown me away.The Customer service is unbelievable, the staff really work hard to put a smile on every customers face, Yasin in particular went above & beyond to make this trip pleasant, the food is fab, the rooms nicely decorated. "Hotel Fantasia" We will return next year& Yasin thanks again for all your time and effort it really was appreciated.

Lovely hotel,as some other reviewers have said the only issue is that it is a bit dated but it is not a major problem but one they should address.we spent 10 days here and enjoyed every minute of it.the hotel was not over crowded all the staff were very nice,room was cleaned every day fresh water left in room for us everyday as well.the food was ok plenty of different dishes to try some nice some not but always somthing to eat the bbq out the back was prob the best to get food from.would recommed the fantasia to anyone ,the only other think to mention would be the private beach its fantastic but all steep steps to it not suitable for everyone but a very nice enjoyable stay and would defo go back judt please update the bar area and some other parts

This was our first visit to Turkey, so i wanted to book a 5* hotel, upon arrival we was pleasantly surprised by the entrance, unfortunately that is where it ended.The hotel rooms need refurbishing, very poor condition, no room in the wardrobes thank god we was only there for a week, no iron in the room we had to pay to have our clothes ironed, bathroom was also dated, all the carpets in the hotel were threadbare. The hotel advertises a buffet restaurant, a la carte & Mediterranean restaurant only the buffet restaurant was open, this is where our problems really started as my husband is a coeliac we informed the hotel by email twice before we left & the holiday company also phoned them the food the majority of it my husband could not eat as everything was in a sauce or in breadcrumbs we tired to explain to the restaurant manager even translating into turkish but all he could offer was a piece of grilled chicken, so that was my husbands diet for a week chicken. rice & salad & an omelette for breakfast, the meals were the same for lunch & dinner no choice. the desert section was the only good thing. I will point out that the staff were friendly & the hotel was clean but definately not a 5*.

The hotel is a little dated but very well presented. The room looked to have been refurbished recently, spacious and clean, The food was good with a varied selection. The pool area and gardens have spectacular views across the sea to mountain range Bar Beverages a little limited but ok. -- Overall Good Value . Recommend good informative Taxi Man --

My partner and I spent a week here 11/10/2017 - 18/10/2017 . We were slightly worried after reading some of the reviews but to be fair we have judged it on our findings . Arrived to a nice looking hotel outside with security gates . Entered the hotel and checked in which was easy and quick by a very polite gentleman at reception. Hotel spotlessly clean but a little old fashioned but to be fair that's part of its character. We were given a lovely side sea view room carpeted which was spacious and clean , bathroom was also clean with a good sized balcony . The only small problem was we were given twin singles rather than a double bed but we just pushed them together. We had tea & coffee facilities and a large bottle of water ( which we were given one every day ) . DO NOT USE MINI BAR !! As this is extra cost . Wifi free in lobby but I chose to pay the 29 lira for the week which gave me wifi everywhere not just in my room , well worth it . Air conditioning terrible we had to try and get air by opening balcony door, the room was hot enough in October certainly wouldn't like to feel it in August. Maid was excellent nothing was too much trouble for her and our room was cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels . Plenty of sun beds no running down early with towels , you can still get a sun bed in the afternoon ( but we were there low season ). Outside/pool areas spotless but the pools were freezing cold . Views unbelievable absolutely stunning especially a sunset wow . Food could really do with being kept warmer as on quite a few occasions it was cold at the snack bar so we spent the last few days in the restaurant but to be fair you get what you pay for :- Drinks didn't have a problem with I'm a red wine drinker and so I never had any issues. I've spent a lot of time in Antalya Lara beach which has a lot of 5 * hotels , these Hotels have recently started looking after their cats making them little shelters / cat houses which have food ( cat biscuits) and water in also little beds and scratch posts / toys . ( they have a collection box in the reception area to help with costs ) . I think fantasia de luxe would also benefit from this as a lot of guests do actually like the cats / kittens like myself and do like to spend time with them . It would also put guests minds at rest knowing the cats were getting fed . Animation team seam friendly enough but we spent most of our time at the quiet pool. Ozzy was extremely friendly and good at his job plus some of the waiters at meal times ( sorry we never got your names ) and the young lady serving at the quiet pool bar . We decided to keep our room on till 6pm so we payed £55 ( for an extra 6 hrs) . Friends of ours who we met there also decided to keep their room on till 7 pm (an extra 7 hrs ) but yet only got charged £40 very unfair and sly as they cannot seam to make up their minds about a fixed price . ( We both paid with English sterling . ) so just be aware of this as this put a bit of a downer on the last day . In general I would say the fantasia de luxe is more 3/4* not a 5*, this was a lot cheaper than what I have been paying in the past so you really do get what you pay to pay for and to be honest the good weighs out the bad if your wanting a nice break away for a week . Would I return ???? 🤷‍♀️ Maybe depending on if they stepped up making sure their food was hot and that their cats 🐱 were looked after 👍🌴🥂🍷

My family would not return here. Every English family we spoke too disappointed and a few Turkish that we spoke to also were not happy. Apparently it was nice a few years ago. The service was terrible. i arrrived about 4pm and no welcome drinks and was told no hot food until 7.30pm so my 2 year old had to eat cereal. We was only given 1 cot after 5 times asking for 2 then the manager said they didnt have another one but were embarrassed to tell us so my infant had to sleep in bed with us! The waiters would never bring cutlery, clean the tables and we always had to keep asking for drinks. We even cleared a few tables ourselves. I asked several times for the microwave to be cleaned so i could sterilize the bottles and nothing was done for 4 days. i dragged the receptionist to show him and to inform manager. The food was ok but sometimes cold. We prefered the burger and chips around the pool and 1 night we ate at the al a carte which had lovely food. No rum at this hotel. Not all staff were good at making cocktails or spoke English. The views around the pool were lovely. Man made beach so not nice sand and you cant walk into the sea. You had to use steps or jump. Another major problem was there is a missing slope for buggies/ wheelchairs to get to the pool. We had to lift up 3 steps then use the very steep slope. There is no slope to get to the beach either. Turkish people staying at the hotel all seemed rude and push past. They do not watch their children. Rooms needed updating. Carpets around hotel were all stained

After having our Florida holiday cancelled thanks to Hurricane Irma we found a last minute booking with the Fantasia De Luxe. We weren’t sure what to expect as we had never been to Turkey before but we must say Turkey is a beautiful country and we will definitely visit again. The hotel upon arrival looked spacious, clean and tidy. Check in was quick and efficient, with very helpful staff. Our rooms were reasonably sized with a fridge, kettle, hairdryer, tea, coffee, water and soft drinks. Unfortunately water, tea and coffe were never replenished and the soft drinks you pay for on departure. We found people were getting their water from the restaurant for their rooms, I did complain but to be honest nothing changed. Wardrobe space wasn’t really adequate for a fortnights stay and the maid for the first few days was trying to get into our rooms to clean about 8.30am, which she soon learnt that we weren’t willing to let her in that early. I must admit that I did feel the rooms weren’t cleaned to a good standard for a 5 star establishment. On exploring we found the beach had plenty of water sports but you needed to go down lots of steps so it’s not suitable for the less mobile. The pools were good, beautifully lit up at night and reasonably clean. We spent most of our time by the relaxing pool where the pool bar girl worked tirelessly to keep everybody happy, always going round collecting glasses with a lovely smile. There was noise from the main pool area and the hotel from next door so often music was in stereo, and the lifeguards were about but often seen chatting and not actually taking much notice of what was happening in the pools. We had our lunch at the Allegro restaurant which served chicken, pizza, burgers, bolognese, salad and fruit. The waiters attentive and helpful. Our evenings when we didn’t visit the nearby Kusadasi we ate at the main buffet restaurant which I must agree with other travellers that the food was average and repetitive. However we did go to the Turkish a la Carte which was lovely and into Kusadasi to have steak and yes a couple of mornings we had an English breakfast lol. We sat in the Ballade bar or pool bar in the evenings. The staff at the Ballade bar were fantastic always smiling and serving you quickly. The pool bar when the bar boys weren’t on their phones did eventually serve you. I visited the hairdresser which was very reasonably priced but unfortunately did not visit the spa. The evening entertainment appeared good fun but to be honest we didn’t bother with it as we liked to sit and chat or visit Kusadasi which the taxi we found next to the hotel was reasonably priced. Overall I loved Turkey, felt the people were friendly and would definitely go back. The Fantasia De Luxe is a good hotel with some lovely staff but just needs a few areas improving.
