Summary:
-A Kure Beach 2 bedroom listing in a quadplex and just a 2 minute walk to the beach! Newly renovated and staged by local super-hosts, come enjoy the sounds of the shore on this cozy front porch! Great spot for family & friends to stay!

-Centrally located to access all outdoor activities "Pleasure Island" has to offer: fishing, boating, biking, surfing, kayaking, and deep sea charters. Many amazing restaurants , eclectic drinking holes and coffee shops + Historic Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium

The Space:
This is a quadplex with three other units. This is the top right unit.

-Full kitchen well stocked with all the basics: coffee pot, pots/pans, dishes and appliances: fridge, stove, microwave

- Living area including flat screen smart tv

-2 bedrooms with King sized bed and two single beds

-Outdoor shower area is available for your use to wash away the sand. Please note it is shared with the other units for everyone's convenience and located on the left side of the home.

We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay

Guest Access:
Private assigned parking, and then head up the stairs on the left to your own private porch and 2 bedroom condo.

The Neighborhood:
2 blocks from the public beach access, 3 blocks to downtown Kure beach, restaurants, and the pier. A few minutes drive to CB, Fort Fisher, the Aquarium, and the Southport Ferry.

Getting Around:
- Free parking on premises, please park where your space is designated

-Walk, bike, public parking at beaches and in town

-Bike and golf cart rentals are available on the island- let our Going Coastal team know if you need any recommendations.

-Uber cars and taxi's are also available

The beds were comfortable. The layout was great for our family of four. But it smelled like cigarette smoke and mildew. It wasn’t clean enough. There is clearly a lot of water damage which made us all a little uncomfortable. With some deep cleaning, actually not allowing smokers and some repairs and it would be great.

1. We had ONE hand towel in the bathroom, ONE towel for the floor, and ONE hand cloth for THREE people for four night/five days!!! We also had only ONE bath towel each for the stay. Requesting extra towels was going to cost extra-what a joke. 2. We were assigned #3 and when we got there, we could not get in and it turns out, we were in #2 and when I called, the guy kept telling me we were at the wrong place. I then found out we were upstairs. I sent him a picture showing it said Unit #3 and he said well, we go by names of each unit. What is something happened to me or my son or husband as we were all trying the door over and over again in what I found out was an occupied unit. 3. The shower was so dirty and moldy. The shower head had so much soap scum on it and you could see it on the walls. The shower curtain liner was fifthly also-those things are only like 6 bucks to replace. 4. The main bedroom had some kid stuff stored in the closet and some weird mat thing on the floor-it looks like something you stick under a rug. When I went to move it-you know to store my shoes- all kinds of sand came out and it was gross to leave it balled up and full of dirt/sand. 5. There was ONE roll of paper towels for a four-night stay with 3 people. There was one kitchen towel again for the four-night stay. There was no cleaning supplies like not even a sponge to do the dishes-we had to buy a sponge and paper towels. There were no Lysol wipes or one bottle of cleaning stuff except one

Perfect Little Place

Perfect little place - Positive Waves. My husband, daughter and I loved it. It was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and it was a 2 min walk to the beach. Definitely would rent again.

Great location

Great location, clean. I would only suggest more towels, paper products and soap due to no laundry machines or dishwasher. When communicated it was handled in a timely manner. Otherwise it was perfect. We enjoyed our time very much.
