My husband and 2 older teenage daughters spent 3 glorious nights at this utterly charming tranquil gem in KL. If we were fortunate enough to return to KL I would stay nowhere else. The staff are exemplary in their professionalism, warmth and helpfulness. Salsabil, Sabbir and Nissan (apologies for spellings)bar and restaurant staff were marvellous as were the pool, kitchen and cleaning staff who quietly maintain impeccable standards. I constantly asked questions which were always met with such kindness by lovely Kumar or one of the other reception staff. We have been fortunate to stay in beautiful 5 star hotels around the world and this we think is special. Our gorgeous room had direct pool access and was absolutely gorgeous, I have missed the ease of an early am swim everyday since. The jacuzzi in the bathroom a real treat too. The complimentary cocktails at happy hour were lovingly prepared and the restaurant food whether breakfast, lunch or dinner was delicious. We didn't want to leave and when we did all the staff including the charming manager, Mark waved us off with freshly warm cookies for each of us. I cannot recommend this boutique hotel and its staff high enough. Many thanks and warmest regards to them all. Raj, Hannah, Anisha and Rhia
Had no idea that this gem existed so near the chaos that is the Kuala Lumpur city centre. What a beautiful, calm oasis - perfect getaway spot for the weary soul or for couples who want a quiet, romantic place to stay that isn't in some isolated area. Once you enter the place, it's essentially like a sanctuary - impeccably clean and exuding a relaxing atmosphere. The lagoon in the middle looks inviting at all times of the day, and makes the place look like a luxury island-style resort. The room we stayed in (I forget the name) was absolutely beautiful. Spotless, comfortable, spacious, tastefully furnished... and I can't stress how amazed we were at the whirlpool in the bathroom. Our jaw dropped when the doors were opened. My vocabulary isn't extensive enough to describe how impressive the entire room was. Service was always top-notch, and I also enjoyed a beautiful massage. Not to forget the free cocktails during happy hour! All in all a perfect stay, would definitely return and recommend to all.
Recommended by our travel agent as part of a tour for our 30th wedding anniversary, we had little idea about this hotel before we arrived. What a wonderful surprise to find this jewel just one metro stop from the Petronas towers. Then in our room to find a cake platter individually created and a handwritten card from the staff to celebrate our anniversary and even more to find it spelt out in flower petals with a heart at the end of our bed too. Thankyou so much to Mark and his team for these personal and beautiful touches to make our stay so special and memorable. This just shows that the place itself can be special which indeed it most definitely is, but it is the staff that truly make the difference and this is quite simply the best hotel, with the best staff, that we have ever stayed in. (just a pity that by our last night we had both succumbed to what appears to be a variant of some rather unpleasant asian flu, no fault of the hotel of course but did slightly dent our enjoyment at the end, just hope we didnt come across as ungrateful guests)
We had a very good break at Villa Samadhi. All Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place is like a secret hideout, in the midst of the city yet secluded and quiet. Planning to visit the one in Tioman for our next break. Great job! Keep it up. Thank you all for the relaxing and wonderful 3 days.
It was my first visit to Kuala Lumpur. But I wanna take a rest so looking for some Vacation spot. Of course i know Kuala lumpur is pretty urban polished city. Fortunately I found this Villa samadhi and spent big amusement in there. Everyone might think Here is for Couples. Of course it is. But I do recommend all type of traveler, even Solo travler like me, If you wanna get something more special night in Kul, you must book now! Here is so close to downtown. you can go to the twin tower area by taxi(in my case, was grab) it costs around 10 ringgit. And you can enjoy in the private swimming pool which is shared with only hotel guest. I do wanna go and book again. I hope you also could find a lot of fresh joyful things like i did. **I do wanna upload my photos but sadly it says too big to post
Would recommend this hotell to anyone that has time to relaxe and enjoy KL. Great atmosphere, service, food and drinks. Fasinating rooms, and you hardly notice you are in one of Asias capital cities. Will go back next time in KL.
Wow. We loved our two-night splurge stay at Villa Samadhi this week. After a weeklong stay in Hong Kong in a small two-bedroom apartment rental, our family of four adults luxuriated in how much we could sprawl in our two rooms. The HK apartment was easily half the size of each Villa Samadhi room! I think we had rooms 11 and 12, with one having the biggest wrap-around poolside deck I have ever seen. Pros: - An oasis in a busy city. While we could see some buildings across the street from our second-floor corner room, we barely heard street noise and the many palm trees and plantings and large pool downstairs made you feel like you were in a distant resort. - The service was outstanding and friendly. Everyone greeted us with a smile and pleasantries and workers seemed to genuinely want to make your stay a delight. Two managers inquired about our stays, more attention than has ever been paid to us in our many travels. - Inclusive breakfast. Wow again. Best. Breakfast. Ever. Choose your own made-to-order smoothies and choose from a long list of made-to-order breakfast entrees or select from the expansive buffet. We really, really wanted to try the whole grain Nutella waffles. But we had to be good and ordered more nutritious items. I had the vegetable frittata. Delicious. Husband and daughters raved about the chicken sausage accompanying their eggs. - Inclusive cocktail hour. I kicked myself several times for forgetting about the first cocktail hour when we checked in. I was too intent on using the enormous rain shower before heading out to dinner. On our second night, we were delighted that this was no mere beer/wine/cheese offering. There was an inventive cocktail list and yummy small bites. The bartender even came around to offer us a second round. - Great job trying to fight the mosquitoes. Lemongrass plantings around the property, fans over deck areas where one might hang out, lemongrass mister in our room, free canisters of bug repellant. - Welcome cognac and chocolate, fruit basket, nightly nibbles and extensive tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Water canister. - Comfortable beds, enormous bathrooms, kitchens and seating areas. Beautiful furnishings. - Local Uber-like cars ordered through front desk charged a lot less than taxis. You pay cash to the driver directly. - Loved the gorgeous swimming pool area. There were plenty of pool cabanas, although we didn't have to worry since at most there was another couple when we visited the area. Cons: - Local taxi drivers generally didn't know where Villa Samadhi was located despite giving them the address and their using GPS. Easier to say it's across from the U-Thant Residences. While it's next to the Libyan Embassy, it's apparently newish and not known location-wise either by taxi drivers. - It's really hard to leave and I wanted to see what all the other rooms looked like.
We warmly recommend Villa Samadhi KL. Everything was just nice and friendly ! Only recommendation would be to review maintenance of the loft's deck. Painting goes away and pollutes the pool. No big deal, but should be improved to match the place's overall standards !
A luxury villa retreat set in the heart of the city. You really could be anywhere in Malaysia as this luxury boutique resort has created a sublime peaceful setting. Relax in the swimming pool or take a very short taxi ride and explore the city, the choice is yours. The staff are excellent and really do ensure you have a delightful stay. A complimentary happy hour at the end of the day ensures you really do get value for money at this retreat.
This place was nice, beautiful.Made to look like its nestled in the forest.Reception was helpful and accomodating.Upon arrival, some traditional malay kuih were served.Probably looks cheap to locals because you can get it for a few ringgit on the streets, but for foreigners, may be a treat. The room itself was spacious and the bedroom a great photo op because of its ceiling that has a triangular shape.Makes the room a little more romantic. The room has all wooden accents,to parque floor to a wooden shower place. We had a wadding pool but it was not cleaned when we got there.Thats a minus. We also had a free shuttle ride to dinner to their sister restaurant which was nice, giving us a break from the hassle of driving into town.Be warned though, this place is not staffed through out the night. They leave at night and return in the morning.Overall, was a romantic stay, suited for couples with romance in mind and definitely a plus for those who love nature.
