I was not expected to visit 'resort hotel' but Villa Samadhi was not as same as other resort in City. I didn't want to leave the review otherwise this hotel will be so famous in the end =) I spent really good time with my partner during the stay and we are planning to visit again in this year too. All staffs, food & beverage, services, exterior, interior and condition of hotel were perfectly worked for weekend city escape. Thank you once again for your warm welcoming!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the beautiful Villa Samadhi. Service was excellent, grounds were beautiful and rooms were luxuriously gorgeous. My only grouse would be the food... Menu was more than sufficient but taste and quality did not match up to the level at which the rest of the resort was positioned at. I would probably revisit how the property manages F&B e.g. explore partnering with external 3rd parties within the city.

There are so many great things here written about Villa Samadhi, and they are truly deserved - so it is a bit hard to be original. But we will give it a try:) It is an incredibly beautiful place, one of its own kind in KL. Instead of high-rise hotel conglomerate, why not book into this peaceful and elegant villa, with a tranquil pool that you can enter from your room's little terrace. The Villa is very conveniently located in a residential/ embassy district of KL - not exactly in the city centre, but still quite close to key attractions/ business locations. Sightseeing tours can be organised, and they are good, but typically need advance booking - so enquire with the reception early. One point to note - cars are necessary means of transport in KL, and streets often get jammed. This is especially important for business travellers - make sure you plan ahead, and staff at Samadhi will be ready to help. The rooms are spacious (for Asian standards - enormous), comfortable, and immaculately clean. The decor is a pleasure to the eye. If you are not sure which room type is right for you, there is a very accurate description on Villa Samadhi website. Luxe Sarang is more than enough for a couple, and has a wonderful warm water jacuzzi in the back garden. Bath salts are provided to make it a perfect relax opportunity after a long day. There is a lovely little restaurant at Villa Samadhi which serves breakfast, but has some good dinner options as well. Unlike in other places, you can stay in bed as long as you like - if you miss the breakfast buffet, a la carte options will be available to you pretty much all day. At the back, hidden in the greenery, there is an ambient bar with a good selection of drinks/ cocktails. Enjoy the happy hour, and try some great aperitifs before heading to one of Samadhi's restaurants across the city (we will review them separately). Last but not least - staff at Villa Samadhi are understanding, polite, and helpful. They do their best to make guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. It is people who really make this place as wonderful as it is - and we would like to thank them for the great time we had. Special thanks to one and only Ewan for keeping a careful eye over it all. Dear Samadhians, please keep it first class as you do, because we have still a few of your places to visit:)

Who would have thought that somewhere in the middle of a bustling city could be so tranquil? Villa Samadhi is calm, serene and sophisticated but still manages to be friendly and accommodating. We arrived early in the day, very tired after a long overnight flight but the hotel had ensured that a room was ready and waiting for us. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom complete with its own jacuzzi. We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be excellent. Breakfast was also good. Cant recommend this hotel enough and wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting KL.

This was our second visit, after a great experience last year. Pleased to say that it was every bit as good as we remembered and we were really impressed that the staff remembered us, too. It's that sort of friendly and personable service from Ewan and his staff that will keep us coming back. Our room was enormous and the private pool was an amazing bonus. Loved our meal in the restaurant and breakfast on both mornings was plentiful and impressive. Thanks again for the special memories.

Having worked in Asia for over 3-years (originally from the UK) I have visited many boutique hotels whilst travelling SEA. Villa Samadhi is certainly one of the best accommodations I have stayed at, and I could not recommend it high enough to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. The hotel offers a truly cultural experience, located in the city centre, with beautifully crafted unique rooms bursting with personality. The relaxing atmosphere is complimented by the extremely helpful and friendly staff who added towards the overall experience. In particular, the GM was extremely accommodating and helped us with travel arrangements, day trips, and local knowledge to ensure our trip was the best it could be – which it certainly was! I have had friends and family stay at Villa Samadhi, and they have equally praised the rooms, facilities, and staff. Thank you to everyone at Villa Samadhi. It’s very clear all your hard work has paid off! I couldn’t recommend you enough.

Villa Samadhi is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. Everything was perfect, complimentary cocktail and in room snacks with a spa. An adorable window seat overlooking the pool and the most comfortable bed. Our night here was a dream!

The value doesn't worth the money. The hotel looks like in the picture, just a lot older. They do a good cleaning job but wood is too old to look good. Breakfast is very poor and doesn't taste good. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to embassy area so it a bit separate with outside, you have to take taxi to go to anywhere

The 2 days and 3 nights we spent here were idyllic to say the least. The staff including the manager were really nice and helpful no matter what the time of the day. The property is a bit on the old side but clean and well maintained. We had a lux sarang which opened to the shared lagoon pool. It was very spacious complete with a lovely bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a small sitting room and kitchen. One of the plus points was the universal plug points which is always a problem when we travel elsewhere. The food is great as long as you order the malaysian specialities. The western options are a bit hit and miss. The villa is close to all the major shopping centers but once you enter the property you wouldn't know it was in the middle of the city. We loved our stay and the packed breakfast we were given on our way out was a nice touch!

Had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel for 4 nights from 26th April, from the moment we checked in to our departure we could not wish to have been treated any better. Although we had only booked a crib room I have to say it was truly amazing and the room was huge the local rugby team could have fitted in the shower and bathroom lol. It was kept immaculately clean as well. All of the staff where polite and professional and Ewan GM was a pleasure to speak to and offered us lots of suggestions of place to go. So a big thank you to you all you are a credit to your hotel. I want go into too much detail as regards to the food and the happy hours cocktails as it has been said many times - fantastic sums it up! The hotel is located in the embassy area so feels very safe and in fact we walked to a local restaurant one evening and felt perfectly safe. If fact we enjoyed several walks into KL the joys of Google! And managed to miss the rain on a copy of occasions. So would I go back, that's a big fat Yes if I return to KL the world's a big place but I truly hope I can get back there sooner rather then later. So to all at Village Samadhi thank you for making our 1st visit to Malaysia so special.
