Everything about Villa Samadhi suited me,I loved the peaceful, zen like atmosphere, that the Villa is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the whole ethos of the place where everything has been thought about to make your stay as relaxing as possible. From my collection at the airport by a helpful An who answered all my questions as it was my first visit to KL and being a lone female traveller. I liked that the couple of small issues I had during my stay were dealt with immediately so that they never became an issue! The staff all of whom were friendly, polite and above all smiling were caring and helpful, from John on reception who went that bit extra and not only organised my grab car to the night market but insisted I call him whenever I was ready so that he could arrange my return grab car to make sure I got back to the Villa safely. The extremely pleasant young man on breakfast service, where incidentally the selection, choice and quality of breakfast was delicious with the added boon of a wonderful selection of freshly made smoothies made to order, I enjoyed trying a different one every morning during my stay. The same young man, I m sorry I don’t remember his name ( from Bangladesh, studying IT ) made it a pleasure to not only go for breakfast but also to the Happy Hour I managed to make on a couple of occasions as his cocktails were also delicious and well made. The friendly grounds people work hard keeping the Villa on point constantly sweeping, hosing and keeping the decking and woodwork up together, yet all done in an unobtrusive way, so much so that on two occasions I rested on one of the day beds around by the lovely pool and ended up drifting off to the sound of the water from the waterfall on waking I felt a bit thirsty and just opened my eyes to see a couple of jugs of fresh water and juice being placed on the side with plastic glasses for the was as if someone had read my mind. That’s what I liked about Villa Samadhi a lot of thought has gone into every detail. The VSOP brandy & chocolates at turn down service on an evening is a lovely touch and I enjoyed coming back to this treat after my busy evenings out. I was pleased to find that the walk into the City was just right for me being a good 10-15 mins to Ampang Park where I could get to anywhere by the underground or continue walking and easily reach KLCC. My highlight was the 90 minute deep tissue massage by Madina, just excellent!!!

Villa Samadhi is simply incredible. I really struggle to fault this hotel at all - it was exactly what I was looking for in a 'Staycation'. I traveled solo (female), and I was a little concerned that this hotel would have a 'couple vibe' and I would find myself feeling a little uncomfortable. This was not the case, and I was completely at ease on my own. The hotel is amazing. I stayed in a Luxe Crib room for 2 nights, which was incredible. The room is beautifully furnished in Malaysian wood, and it's design really whisked you away to a tropical paradise. This room style had a Jacuzzi, which I was in when I wasn't sitting by the Instagrammable pool. There were natural salts in the room to add to the Jacuzzi, which made it feel like I was at a fancy spa. The bed is very comfy and one of the best I have come across in Asia (I find Asian style beds rather hard). I didn't leave the hotel grounds during my stay, as my purpose was to relax, and that is what I did. I did notice the room had a 'Handy Phone' - a device I have used in the past that is extremely helpful for navigating foreign cities and contacting home. I think this is a great feature for travelers. The pool is stunning, and I enjoyed a full day sitting by it - something that I have seen travelers do, but never done myself. Now I know why. I was so very relaxed. I enjoyed the evening cocktails, which were very fancy, and a wonderful touch. The food was incredible, my favorite being the Chilli Garlic Prawn Spaghetti and the Nasi Lemak for breakfast. I heard about this hotel while staying at the Samadhi groups' sister hotel Japamala (also highly recommended). It is truly one of the best hotels I have stayed at, and I intend to return with my Husband one day soon, for a more romantic stay. The only downside was that I wanted to book a massage, and it turned out it was the massuse' day off (a Sunday). I was rather disappointed as it was something I had been looking forward to. This hotel is located outside of the city center, but I think only a 20 min walk, or a 5RM Grab trip. This is the ideal location if you intend to relax as you'd never know you were in a bustling city like KL. It is also worth mentioning the staff are incredible. Very polite and helpful, and seemed to be just lovely people. I highly recommend the Villa Samadhi. Walking through the gates was like stepping into a whole other world where you don't have a worry.

It was simply unexpected and so wonderful. It is a little secret heaven in the middle of the city. Really quiet and peaceful with a jacuzzi in the room. All small details and attention made our stay very memorable. Thanks

This hotel was not our pick however we were glad to be staying there. Great location, wonderful service, interesting tours, great meals and a place to socialise or hide away. The level of personal service was sincere and always offered with a smile. Always a plus to in a developing country to have everything work! In room Spa and rain shower I wanted to take home with me. those and the guar turtles. Beats a corporate high rise hotel any day. Finally make sure you book your tours though the Hotel Ann was brilliant

Have recently arrived back from Malaysia, I had 4 nights in Hotel Villa Samadhi, what a beautiful place, the staff were lovely couldn’t do enough for you. although a busy time in Kuala Lumpur we would go back to the hotel and it was so relaxing. A special thanks to Sabbit always smiling and he made the best Bacardi and Coke for me at happy hour and looked after us well at breakfast, also Kumatan who was on reception who came to our rescue when we couldn’t get a cab on our phone we phoned him and he sorted it for us and a cab came within min. thankyou for making our stay a memorable one

This was our fourth visit and the first time that the resident manager was away. For this type of hotel I think the manager has a very important role to play in the overall feel of the place, but I understand that everyone needs a holiday. The staff as always were very welcoming and helpful but didn’t really have the in depth knowledge of the city to advise on outings. It was lovely to see that Sabbir and friends were still in the restaurant. They combine service with humour which makes breakfast and happy hour very pleasant. In reception John and colleagues were also very helpful in sorting out the return of a phone I’d forgotten to give back at our last hotel. They also helped in calling Grab taxis for us. We stayed in a crib room which is large and has everything you need. The one thing we can never understand is the gaps around the windows but this year we weren’t bothered by mosquitoes at all so it wasn’t a problem. The pool is very pleasant and there were repairs being carried out on the deck. We also saw different improvements from last year with a veg garden and a new home for the tortoises. It is a bit out of the centre but a taxi costs around 6 ringitt to KLCC. It’s a great place to start or finish a holiday and we will definitely be back.

Villa Samadhi was a wonderful retreat to go at the end of a hectic day. In KL. The pool helps you cool down after a hot and steamy day exploring KL. The Travel Samadhi guides are fantastic and work to give you a truly individual experience. The restaurant and bar is only available to guests of the Villa, the food is wonderful, the service fantastic. We would stay again, and would not hesitate to recommend to other travellers.

Fantastic place to relax, great breakfast menu, pool is good size and everything is just in the middle of Kuala Lumpur. Staff is great, always prepared to help . Restaurant offers good choice of meals.

Villa Samadhi is an exceptional hidden gem in the heart of Kuala Lumpur! It is no wonder they have been voted the number one hotel in KL for three years running! The rooms are spacious and luxurious, and truly set the scene for a tranquil, tropical escape. It’s hard to believe you’re only 5 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of KLCC while staying at Villa Samadhi. We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed much of the facilities on offer. Our massages were amazing and certainly well priced. The pool area was beautifully maintained and provided a refreshing escape from the hot humid weather. A beautiful touch was also appreciated in the form of a packed lunch on our final morning, as we would need to head to the airport at 6:30am and would miss our last breakfast at the villa. Our highlight of the stay was definitely happy hour. Sure, the free cocktails were a bonus but the real pleasure was knowing we’d be greeted by the two amazing employees who work the bar and dining room – Sabbir and Salsabil. We cannot commend these two young men enough for their efforts, as they both went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated, even recommending activities for us to do while on our trip – and even followed up with other departments such as housekeeping when we hadn’t been offered turndown service (turns out it was because we were at the villa bar at the time and couldn’t let housekeeping into the room – our fault!). Management should feel very thankful for having such intelligent, courteous and talented employees who take great pride in their work. The amazing service received from Sabbir and Salsabil, was enough to make us want to come back to Malaysia and stay at Villa Samadhi again. Our only suggestion would be to revise the breakfast menu as some of the hot food options were hit and miss. Overall, the dinner menu was delicious and we greatly enjoyed the satay chicken. Thank you for an amazing holiday! We’ll definitely be back! - Catherine & Nick.

Beautiful place. However, suggest that the property to be upgraded as it looks and feel a bit run down. Need to improve on housekeeping as attention to detail is poor. On the bright side, they have every good customer service.
