Great location. Next to train station and also mall. Courteous, helpful, knowledgeable staffs. Beautiful, spacious hotel. Only thing was the last day no supplies of hand towels and wifi expired too early. I woke up at 5 am, wifi disconnected so i tried to sign back in, says session expired. Other than that hotel is beautiful, great location and staffs, would recommend.

The room was extremely big. The floor in the bathroom wasnt clean. There were no hand towels and bath robes available in the room. The safe deposit box broke down, so the hotel staff had to change it. Breakfast was really various.

The hotel has been newly refurbished and they have done quite well. Overall very clean and tidy. The staff are pleasing but the check in took a bit of a queue as there was problem with upgrading. Once it was my turn, only 2 minutes to get my key card as I have no such upgrading issue. Parking is a bit of a hassle though as you have to go to 5th floor at least.

This hotel was gorgeous! and super clean! The room we had was gorgeous and was more then we expected we will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a Superior room, roomy enough even with a couch and a desk. Very modern, decent and clean that you would expect from a 5-star. There are even two Type A 110V outlets (in the bathroom) which are convenient for us from the U.S. Room insulation is great, except you could hear the heavy clinking sound of neighboring doors being shut. Staff are superb! Breakfast is comprehensive, consisting of Malay, Indian, Chinese and western entries. There is a upscale mall with a supermarket in the lower floors. There are two subway stations that can take you almost everywhere in KL, although the neighborhood is one side office and the other side residential, which is good for folks wanting to explore local life. Taxis called by the bell persons are trustworthy (i.e. they go by meter) while taxis waiting down on the street are scavengers, like those waiting in front of tourist attractions, not using meter and asking at least twice as much as metered fares. Passing-by taxis adhere to the metering fares, so either you get the bell persons get you a taxi or you go wave down one from the street below, just don't go for the ones that have been waiting.

I am very pleased with my stay in this hotel. I like everything in it. One negative point though. There is no variety in the breakfast. It is mostly asian food. Other than that all great

This hotel was wonderful! Everything about it the food the bed the room everything was gorgeous and so worth the money! Will definitely stay here again!

it's a good hotel , free shuttle service to KL center is an advantage .

I like the welcome drink. Staff is very helpful and provide the best what they can. Location wise is next to a metro station. For the free shuttle, they only have two rounds, so prepare accordingly

We had booked two rooms and on check in we were upgraded to the suites on 33rd floor. The staff were very friendly and helping.Although the hotel was undergoing renovation we never experienced any inconvenience. They had offered 50% discount on all restaurant bills. The Rapid train station PWTC is almost right below the hotel which is very conveniet to commute to any part of KL. Only negative aspect we felt was the quality of food served at the Monkey bar which was not very impressive. The quality of food served in other restaurants was good. Amenities like Swimming pools and gym were great. Would highly recommend as it was very much value for money

Guess the price is due to the ongoing renovation otherwise it won't be so cheap

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunway Putra. We asked for high floor and quickly our request was satisfied , the room big and lovely, breakfast had enough choice and was taste. The hotel is located close to two stations to move around the city.

Requested a non-smoking room. When we got to our rooms they smelled like the international tobacco convention had stayed there. We went back to the front desk to find out non-smoking rooms were not available. No choice. "Sorry Sir". Decided to take a shower. No hot water. Took a cold shower. Reached for a towel and....no towels. Just the little one you put on the floor. Dried myself with the little floor towel and called housekeeping through a connection that sounded like I was calling Mars. "Do you want 2 or 3 towels?" "I want 3 towels." "No sir you can only have 2 towels." "OK OK 2 towels." I got the two towels, we got some shut eye and got the heck out. Contrary to the description, there is no free WiFi (they charge by the hour), and no airport shuttle (they call a taxi for you). Beware!

Staff friendly and attentive, rooms clean, although a bit old, buffet food is good and very inexpensive. this is good value for money!

The Hotel is great, room was perfect with balcony towards downtown and awesome view to the KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers. We will diffinately go back there.

Staff honest.hotel clean and good but not o new hotel.all elecs old but working.

This hotel could so easily be a 4 - 4.5 star hotel if they hired the right people. I stayed here for four nights so I had the opportunity to utilize most areas of the hotel. Concierge and bellmen were superb, while everyone else was average or below. Housekeeping needs the most work. There is mold growing in the shower that could so easily be killed with product and they do not clean they simply straighten up your room and replace used items. The hotel offers complimentary water, tea and coffee which is a nice touch and the toiletries in the bathroom are great too. The decor of the rooms is excellent and is in great condition. My room was quiet unless someone was sleeping in the room above or next to me. I also found a bug including a cockroach in my bathroom every morning. TV has about 10 channels. Buffet breakfast is 4 star but staff is not friendly or helpful. My recommendation would be to hire better employees and take this hotel from a 3.5-4.5 over night! I paid $77 a night including the buffet breakfast so I believe this was a great value for the money. Would stay here again for the same price.

Used to be called the Legend hotel, has been renamed Sunway Putra. Location is excellent. But very average or below average amenities. Fail to understand the 60RM daily WiFi costs. Very limited capacity pool and jacuzzi. The rooms are really spacious, but had an ancient cathode ray tube television, with poor quality video and very limited channels. Worst part about the room is - their plumbing/cistern system seems real inferior, every time a tenant upstairs flushes the toilet, you'll hear a long squeaky monotone, annoying and really tough to get some sleep at night with this . Our room was 3 rooms away from the elevator and there's also the constant sound of the elevator moving all the time. Would not stay here again. This is 3-star at best, cant believe how this can be a 5-star!!!

access to lobby was on the ninth floor, somewhat inconvenient; there were no slippers provided until we asked the front desk; bath tub was slippery near the end away from the shower head, we both slipped but luckily we didn't hurt our head, but I hurt my foot; room is reasonably good and good size, but there weren't enough power sockets for today's technology-savvy clients who want to lay on the bed and do some computer work; the worst inconvenience was that there was no complimentary internet connection, which is now generally provided free in the U.S. one thing good about it is that the hotel is right next to the light rail, quite convenient for travelling around KL.
