Quite original hostel concept, cheap and central
Next door to KL Sentral.I stayed here 1 night end of July 2025,in a 16-capsule dorm,in one of the upper dorms.
There are medium-size lockers,i.e. for rucksacks,in some dorms, other dorms have lockers outside in the corridor.
You get a card to access dorm,locker AND capsule.
Easy to access (upper) dorm via a side ladder,different than the “usual” hostel ladder.
The bed was quite comfy,the way it looks inside the capsule is quite interesting.
Bathrooms/showers all good,no issues here,there are rooms where you can lock the door and have sink and shower all for you,unlike those communal bathroom/shower rooms you find in other hostels with people going in and out all the time.
There are also family rooms called VIP.
The ladies I dealt with at reception were one from Bangladesh (pleasant),the other Chinese (also pleasant), the other Muslim (not sure about her nationality - not too pleasant) .
CONS: From inside the capsule,if someone slams the door of the capsule above (or below) yours,you can easily hear it,so it really depends on good or bad manners,my “neighbour” was average.
Likewise,music or snoring can be heard too if you’re a slight sleeper,the capsules aren’t entirely soundproof.
No luggage storage,I had to leave my suitcase next to the dorm,padlocked and chained to the dorm ladder as I don't trust anybody.You can however leave your luggage at reception on check-out day if e.g. you want to go out and come back to collect it later,you get a ticket to be used for collection.
