Excellent hotel (with an amazing gym). Staying here will make you forget that you are in Kuala Lumpur :)

it is cost for traveler at first time in Kuala lumper.

I checked into club level room and it was great. Room was very well put together with a tub and seperate shower. Had free access to lounge with breakfast and light dinner with drinks. Wifi in club is very good and also downstairs. Staff were overly helpful going out of there way to help you. Location is only 15 walk or so to towers and there is two different monorail/subway within 3 minutes walk. You can travel to different areas from either station, one of which will take you to KL central which has the 28 min express train to KLIA airport. I will stay here again for sure.

Excellent hotel. Price was good. Evening buffet was great.

The hotel is clean and nice with very friendly staff. The location is a little bit far from buki bintang, where there are a lot of actions. However, the overall value is great.

A 3 day stay while touring the city. The staff were first rate and attentive. The concierge desk was especially helpful. The hotel is not in the center of KL, but taxis are always at the door and an elevated train station is only about 100 yards from the hotel.

Everything is 5 star about this hotel. Just the location is a little lonley with not a lot close to the hotel but it is on the Mono Rail line so great transit to the city sights from here. Location Location Location, be carful as my friend was staying at an other hotel in an other location of the city that had open sewers and the smell was horriable! Just be ready to use the transit that is great, and or a taxi if staying here.

The room was big with a spacious bathroom and a good view.

I was very impressed by the beauty of the lobby. All personel very professional and friendly. The location of the hotel, central KL, was very convenient. Excellent room design. Clean and comfortable. Overall, very good value for money. I will return to the Sharaton Imperial KL on my next visit to Malaysia.

In terms of decor? Excellent. As for attention to detail? Pretty bad. I could hear the noise from the street all night even though I was on the 25th floor. The opaque curtains did not close all the way, so the ambient street light at night and sunlight in the morning disturbed my sleep. There was no ice machine for me to get ice myself. Having said that, the staff was extremely polite and respectful. And the hotel itself was simply gorgeous.

Wonderful hotel. a brisk 15 minute walk to the petronas towers but also the monorail stop is right out the door.

Great hotel with great gym and health club. Very nice room with comfortable bed. It is a good location and the monorail stop is outside to the left. It's probably a 20 minute walk to Petronas. I would recommend staying closer to Petronas.

The hotel was definitely worth the 5 stars. Was not that expensive when I first booked the hotel. The location was the best. located about 2 min walk to the monorail and 5 minutes from the subway. KLCC and the golden triangle was just 10 minutes taking the subway and monorail. Breakfast buffet was amazing a little expensive though but for a 5 star hotel it was expected. The only complaint was that one side of the hotel faced a street of nightclubs and bars so it got loud till 4 or 5 in the morning. The staff at the hotel was awesome very helpful and polite. The concierge helped us as we looked traveled around kuala lumpur and told us how to get tours and what not.

A very lavish Hotel at an affordable rate. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to KL I had a deluxe room with a great view of the KL towers.

The hotel is centrally located, monorail station is right by. Walking distance to KLCC, other rapid rail station is not too far for walking. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas, and the staff were courteous and friendly. We like our room, has a seating area, office desk, a view and very spacious. The two complains we have are (1) some of the light bulbs in the room were burned out, and were not replaced. In the room we stayed, there were 3 of them. One of them is the light in the shower stall. We had to show in the dark. The other two were not as important. In addition, the light above the toilet is installed slanted so the lighting in that area was dim. (2)The room we were assigned to was above the side street lined with a few night clubs and restaurants. At night starting 11pm until 4 in the morning, those night clubs would blast their music very loud. We were at 25th floor, and the music was so loud that it was hard to get to sleep. Do not know this is the norm or not, because we stayed there on Dec 23 to 25 nights last year.
