Checked into the hotel apartment and the place was bright and nice. Towels were dirty but they offered to replace. The bathrooms had a very bad stench to it and it was unbearable! Called the staff and they agreed it was unacceptable. Moved us to a new apartment and the same issue. Horrible stench in the bathroom. Left the place without staying and got a refund. Would not recommend

The reception was not that great. They socially profiled me and told me that I had to pay a deposit and that I shouldn't break anything. But I saw 2 people before me that didn't pay any deposit and their service was impeccable. And when I insisted that expedia didn't mention anything about it. They let it go but repeated multiple times that I should not break anything

This is not a hotel as reported on Expedia! They allow up to 6 people in the apartment, but there is only one king bed and a sofa bed—suitable for no more than 3 people. They serve only Malaysian boxed breakfast—spicy or extremely spicy salty food in a few variations, with a yogurt and a coffee or tea. It’s basically a nightmare if you’re staying for two weeks or more. You’re also required to reserve or choose your breakfast each day for the next day via an online form. During our stay, breakfast was consistently served 30–45 minutes later than the time we had selected. The cleaning service is only offered once a week, and during our second week, they skipped it entirely. You have to repeatedly ask for fresh towels or toilet paper, as they provide only a small roll of toilet paper per bathroom and a single large towel per person. Overall, the services are lazy and disorganized, although the apartment itself was nice and clean. Despite being on the 22nd floor, the apartment was quite noisy at all hours—you constantly hear the road noise hammering in your ears.

Whilst the apartment itself was lovely, spacious and in a great location, the management and processes for the accomodation were terrible. We opted for the breakfasts which to my surprise were microwaved small meals that were all spicy and not suitable. We’d paid around 1,200RM for meals we never received and the manager, Aaron, did nothing to resolve the issue for the 2 weeks. We then asked for a late check out

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and overall friendly attitude of all the staff at the residences. The room exceeded my expectations and it was in walking distant to a supermarket, general shopping stores, and a wide variety of places to eat.

It’s is probably the best stay I ever had in any country. Location is superb with monorail linked, a mall with plenty of grocery and dining options, location right in the the heart of city, brand new facilities like swimming pool and gym, polite staff. 5 star for me all the way. Thank you.

We booked the signature two bedroom suite through Expedia.ca, and unfortunately, our stay was ruined by a strong sewage smell coming from the drains throughout the unit. The cleanliness was inadequate, with the entire place appearing not to have been properly cleaned. There was no kettle provided, and the water dispenser in the unit didn’t offer hot or cold options. Additionally, the kitchen faucet only had one temperature setting, and upon inspecting under the sink, it was clear the plumbing was set up for just one. I also wouldn't recommend using the tap water for cooking or drinking, as it had a yellowish tint. The unit could really benefit from a deep clean, as we noticed several whitish bugs crawling everywhere, likely coming from the adjacent garbage room. Due to the room being next to the garbage room, it was also quite noisy whenever someone on the floor tossed out their trash. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience considering the amount we paid for the large suite and would not recommend anyone to book at Quill City Residence.

I don’t see what all the negative reviews are about.. sure the entrance was a bit hard to find but there’s only 2 entrances to the actual residences so wasn’t a big deal. The deposit I was aware of when I made the booking so that was no surprise either, as long as you look after your apartment and keep it clean there will be no hidden surprises when it comes time to check out
