This was my very first trip to Malaysia and I chose this hotel because of it positive reviews. I must say that this was, indeed, a terrific hotel. It was directly on the train line and it was very centrally located to everything -- a major mall across the street, restaurants, tours, local shopping, and night life. A major bus station was next door and I caught a bus to Singapore without any problems. The facilities were very clean and relaxing.
Hotel was comfy and the service to give our requests was good.
Stayed on the 3rd floor. Carpet stains everywhere. Bugs everywhere. Room was not refundable or else we would've moved to a different hotel. Rooms were smelly. Place is worn down and dreadful. Just pay a bit more and take your money elsewhere. Not worth it.
Our stay at this hotel was very average. The room was not great, much smaller than expected. The breakfast does not really cater for Western travellers.
We were only in KL for a little more than a day (two nights) and since this hotel was right on the monorail line, we were able to get out and see a little of the city without feeling rushed. The pool was a bit of a let-down but dinner at the restaurant was delicious.
The staff is extremely kind, to the point that you feel embarrassed. The location is ideal: a few meters away from Imbi station, which takes you in a few minutes to KL Sentral and the main spots in KL. This is an amazing value for the money.
It was a little disappointing to find out how old was the hotel The staff was good Breakfast lounge was small and had to wait from 10 to 15o be seated
This hotel was clean and in a good location, across from Time Square Mall, in a city that's fairly spread out. Monorail was right there, and taxis were inexpensive. Restaurant in hotel had a lot to offer and the food was excellent. The service all the way around was very good and staff were very polite and courteous. For the money it was a bargain. They just celebrated their 20th anniversary, the hotel didn't look that old. I took a day trip to the caves and wish I had more time to do some of the other expeditions they offered at a reasonable prices. Very clean city and a 1 hour ride from airport to city. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.
