We stopped here for the night between flying from Manila to London. It was booked as part of our flight. The reception area was nice and the staff were helpful, but I could sense there was a problem at check in. They sorted it though. We seemed to be in an older part of the hotel which could have done with a freshen up, though the room was clean, a double and a proper single bed which were all comfortable. The room was air conditioned, there was a fridge and complementary tea and coffee. It was about 55 minutes from the airport to the hotel and using a metered taxi came to 160 ringgits (about £34). A bus a few minutes from the hotel was 1 ringgit (25p) and that drops you straight to the Petronis towers. The buses don't give change so try and have a stock of 1 ringgit notes 😀. Also a few minutes walk from the hotel is a nice mall where you can shop and eat. We were there only 2 days ago and during Ramadan so we had to wait a while to eat as we were there after the sun had gone down! If we had maybe had a better room, and ate in the hotel I could maybe give a better and more informed review of the hotel. For one night though, it was ideal.
Nice stay with awesome view of room (newly renovated)!! With 2 towels but no toiletries. Please prepare your own toiletries. Nearby PWTC & KTM. Variety food offered. Friendly staff. Exclusive environment & worth to pay that price. High level of privacy (concrete wall)
Stayed there with my family. Booked a Triple Deluxe room. First night; Upon check in, receptionist was nice and friendly. Gave us our room, no. 411. The hot water was not working :-( We informed the front desk staff and we were upgraded and moved to suites room, no. M1. Room was ok. Second night; we moved to room 303. Room was better than before. For short trip stay, it was ok with that price.
Upon check in, the lobby counter was not looked like a lobby counter and there is this weird smell. the staff at the lobby counter is rude, not friendly. The room smells terrible, smells like someone have been smoking, puking previously and asked the housekeeper to get rid off the smell but its hard since the smell probably has been stucked in there for awhile. Toilet was clean and basic, TV is new and channel is clear. Air cond took a while to get cold. There is water kettle for hot water but probably u want to get mineral water first just in case and convenient store is available behind the hotel to get some basic stuffs - open till 2am.
Well lets say that the hotel is nice but something lacks there. Perhaps the staff or hotel is getting old. don't know exactly. the things that is nice your are a bus stop and there is a small shop at the back of the hotel and at night people sell foods on the street. And there is a main road near. You easily access city center by taxi.
I stayed here for two nights but spent very little time in the room, so my experience was pretty vanilla. The room is quite small and the bathroom/shower are a little small as well, but nothing you don't normally see in southeast Asia. The air conditioning unit works pretty well, but the power in the room can only be turned on once the room key is inserted into a power slot near the door. In other words, when you've been gone for 12-14 hours of the day and come back at night to a hot room, it's a little uncomfortable. The TV is about eight inches wide and had exactly one clear channel without static. Not something I usually care about but it's nice to have a little better choice. As for cleanliness, the room floor, the bed sheets, the walls, etc. all seemed fairly clean to me. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and although the hotel is near some main, busy streets, I had no trouble sleeping at night with the little bit of noise. I didn't get to see the spa and fitness center because they were renovating them while I was here, but I suppose it's always a good sign when a hotel is doing renovations and updates. There is also free breakfast and a good choice of Malaysian and Thai food at the restaurant/cafe next door. Overall, a nice, cheap, safe hotel just north of the heart of downtown.
Nice hotel. A little old, but I don't expect much with the price. Me & my family have a nice stay here. They provide us with small buffet breakfast. A lot of stalls near the hotel. Just 3 minutes walk to PWTC and that is the main reason why I booked this hotel at the first place. Thank You Leo Palace 1 Hotel. :)
4 night in here for business trip, near from PWTC, it's not to much option food for breakfast and the taste is not good for my tounge. A lil bit to far if u wanna going to LRT station. The service is suitable from that price. Dony expect to much..
I was here for two nights as I wanted to attend book fair at PWTC. The location is just beside the second hall of Tun Razak Hall and this is a big advantage as you could walk to the hall. The hotel is clean and breakfast choices are okay. The wifi is not reliable even though it says available at every room. Parking lot is available for free. The only downsides are the furnitures need replacement, the toilet is a bit small and the tv is still crt not lcd.
Stay with Family over the weekend. Everything was okay and at night went i wanted to boiled hot water the whole room become trip. call front desk to change the Kettle and its 3 times changing Kettle due to same problem again and again. The hot water is so hot you must need know how to control.
