The room was clean by the time I arrived but I have problem with the toilet , its a bit smelly and the bed sheet got stain , one more thing , I think they should have a fridge in the hotel room because I think its important , but overall this hotel is okay for traveller because its near to the lrt station and easy access to shopping mall and train central but not for the family trip or else ..

Good hotel in Brickfields

The Summer View lived up to its good reviews. The service is discrete, but excellent. Breakfast was fine - typical of hotels. The main problem for us was that there was no fridge in the room. Also the air-con could have been quieter. Well-located for public transport.

Easy access to KL Sentral

Stayed here one night for KL transfer. Very nice staff and comfortable room. Easy walk to KL Sentral and the shopping mall. We would stay here again.

Going to KLCC, Putrajaya, airport or any other he location, just two blocks from the Sentral K.L. was just excellent. Good Staff and beautiful city.

How the hotel could offer better services

The toilet was not cleaned well when we were given the room. Rooms should be cleaned well when the quest(s) vacates the room so the new guest(s) will enter a clean and freshly smelling room. The breakfast menu should be changed. We experienced the same menu for the past three years of our stay. A mini-fridge and face towels will promote the hotel.

Great value and really close to sentra station

This inexpensive hotel is great value and it couldn't be much closer to sentral station. We easily walked with our roll along cases from the railway to the hotel and back via the shopping mal. Most of that walk is in an air conditioned mal, a great benefit in the heart of KL. Rooms are a little tired and bathroom dated but the staff are helpful and there's a good choice buffet breakfast. We stayed on the 5th floor which was quiet enough but i suspect lower floors could be subject to some traffic noise. Overall super value and comfortable.

Economical and Convenient

The hotel is conveniently situated in the Brickfields area near the Sentral terminal - within walking distance of the airport train and airport buses if you have a suitcase with wheels. Moderately priced, the rooms are clean and generally well kept. There's free wifi although the connection is a bit erratic at times. The breakfast which is part of most room bookings (a mix of east and west) is below par. It's a limited help-yourself buffet, situated in a rather cramped area, and the food heating arrangements are simply inadequate. I don't like cold eggs, and their "warmer" doesn't start to keep them hot. The breakfast staff seem generally disinterested and bored in keeping up the supplies. The other staff are fine, although a little more expressive (even artificial) pleasure in welcoming a customer would help. Overall, I keep going back because of the location and economical rates.
