The location is good, friendly staff and clean hotel. Just that the room are not sound proof. In the early morning 6am me & my friend heard a funny kinky sound people making love next door. The sound is so loud and it feel like next to our ears. If you could do something to make it sound proof.

My hubby and I always take a trip to Kuala Lumpur once a year and we always stay at the Capitol Hotel which is centrally located. The manager and staff are always delighted to see us as, I think we've been here more than a dozen times as a couple or alone. We are well looked after and it is always a pleasure to come back to this wonderful hotel. The courtesy extended to us is beyond expectations. The staff are a friendly bunch with a welcoming smile and a readiness to help out in every way. This is our home away from home. Thank you Hotel Capitol. We were in KL end of November 2018 for a week. It is always amazing to be there at Christmas. The city is illuminated with fairy lights, the Malls are decorated to the hilt with Christmas songs blaring everywhere you go. The shrill of excited kids and adults alike bring the Christmas cheer to all that visit this beautiful country. No matter what part of the year you visit, there is a festival on. The food is amazing and we make sure we have a lot of that. There are interesting tours within the city and in the outskirts. One will never be disappointed with taking a trip to Malaysia. Hopefully, we will be back again this year.
I stayed in this hotel for 3 night. I booked 2 superior rooms with connecting door. Location was just great! On bukit bintang area and near jalan alor. There were minimarket around the hotel. Sungei wang plaza just in front of the hotel! Room was standart. They didn't supply you with amenities unless you ask for it. I got problem everytime I need to shower. The tap was so hard to turned. The breakfast was good. Western and malaysia style. Over all, this hotel is good. They need to maintenance their lift though. Old lift and so hard to push the button.
Stay in this hotel two times years ago, not a bad hotel, very simple room, not impressive design but good enough for a short stay. Especially if you just stay KL for one or two days, wanting to have a good resting place, low budget and good location, this is the place you can consider. Do ask for upgrade to higher room stay if not in peak season.
We had been staying in the Capitol Hotel each time we go to KL and we had been very happy with everything. However, with our last trip, we stayed there as usual but we found the quality of the cleanliness is below par. The room does not look like it has been vacuumed, who knows for how long. The bathroom is another thing. The toilet seat cover and toilet seat still has marks / stains on them and there were still streaks of urine and goodness knows what on the outside of the toilet bowl. Not only that, there was a streak of blood on the tiles next to the bathroom rubbish bin. As I said before, we had been really happy staying there except this last time. I'm really sorry that I have to write a negative review , Capitol, as I really don't like doing that. Hopefully things will improve in the Housekeeping department in the future. Staff is very nice and helpful and you can't fault the location.
Stayed in Capitol Hotel for New Year's Eve. Basically this hotel has a good location ie near 2 minutes walk to Low Yat Plaza and Sungai Wang Plaza. You can also walk to Pavilion which is about 8 - 10 minutes away. Booked a twin bed room due to the affordable rate for New Year's Eve. Generally the room size was acceptable but some part of the room was dusty. For example the glasses stored inside the cupboard and the writing pad was covered in fine dust. There was no light above the beds and only along the corridor and bathroom and bedside lamps. Therefore it could be quite dark if you do not draw the curtains during the day. Another thing which I found odd was you need not turn on the cold water tap before turning the hot water tap. Actually the hot water tap was quite lukewarm until you could shower on its own. Breakfast was OK but would prefer the eggs to be made upon order. Else it was quite cold since the Chef had made the scrambled eggs much earlier. Anyway, I would still recommended this hotel due to the location and the price was reasonable if booked earlier.
Im stay 3day 2Night. Hotel in middle city. Not very large room . Hotel quiet small. Price not valuable with service. Slow service. Not variety breakfast and not many food. Tv programe not many. Near shopping complex(low yat, a.wang plaza & pavillion)
The room service is too slow.. when we came at 3.45 pm, the room has not yet cleaned, which is unacceptable as my parent could not get to rest. room size is small, decent breakfast. Location is OK, next to sungei wang and low yat plaza and close to jalan alor
