Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur

Located in one of the most happening areas in Kuala Lumpur...good place for tourists. The view from the hotel room was pretty awesome too. The rooms could have been a bit bigger but nevertheless other services were good.

The definition of Quality is "meeting your customer’s requirements" and this hotel did just that for the four of us (2 couples). The hotel is well placed easy to find when you are on foot, as it is quite a landmark. The staff are all very accommodating, you only have to ask and it will be done with a smile, for example it was no trouble for them to print off our return Boarding Cards - at no cost. We were on the 15th floor at the back of the hotel and we had a super view of the twin towers and the Menara tower which is good to see as it continually changes colour at night. The lifts are fast and quiet and it's easy to use the stairs if you fancy some exercise! The breakfasts are good, there's an omelette station and they will give it you any way you ask, as you might imagine the food caters for many tastes. There are some very good places to eat a couple of streets away namely the Meng Kee Grilled Fish - very good food and not too expensive. The rooms are fine, a little tired but clean and functional. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and it won’t be our last. Would recommend to one and all.

The hotel is a very convenient place to stay on Bukit Bintang & near all major shopping centers for a great price ! I walked 5 minutes to Lot 10 food court with all the well known hawker stands in 1 place then used the nice underground walkway to all other shopping centers & Twin towers . Very safe ,clean & cool . I forgot some clothes in my room & the hotel kept them for me until my friend can pick them up - great customer service - will stay here again !

Hotel was in a good location. The breakfast was average. Slightly noisy but in a city so expected. Staff were quite confused about our booking on check in and kept getting our details wrong. There was a stale smoke smell and the hotel was quite dated.

The hotel is very centrally located. It's also nice that there was a gym where i could workout in the mornings. Rooms are a nice size and has all the necessities one would need. My only complaint with the hotel is that people were smoking inside their rooms and that lingered into the hallways. For someone who doesn't smoke, it was quite disgusting.

Visit Capitol with my friends on early of march.. room is cozy, cleaned, air cond was fine.. location wise is excellent nearby the low yat plaza.. sadly i only stay 1 night. will come back in near future..

First the construction in the area is completed so easier to access from new Metro. station or monorail. Still good prices for location but a little inconsistent.Front desk staff seems to have high turnover. Always feel like my arrival is a surprise although,I admit , I did not print my confirmation.just show passport. Surprisingly room was adequate but lacked wash clothes or hand towels??Just two bath towels for everything. (and a bath mat) No complimentary drinking water? F&B has improved and breakfast was decent with food served at proper temperature. Looking for drinking water? Not by the juice dispensers but on the counter near the egg station.

Everything in Bukit Bintang is just a short walk away from the hotel- Jalan Alor, Changkat, Lot 10, Pavillion mall, etc. Consider this hotel if location is the main priority. The deluxe rooms are quite small when stayjng with a baby, a buggy, luggage and other stuff. Compared to the other Bukit Bintang hotels we've stayed in (Somerset, Istana, Hotel Royal, Pullman) the 24sqm was quite small. But overall, our stay was comfortable and the bathroom was quite spacious considering a 24 sqm room. The next time we go to Kuala Lumpur (this is our 5th time and counting), we will book Hotel Capitol again but will choose the premiere room/bigger room.

Good location. Got what i've requested - High floor (17th), connecting room & all 3 rooms on same level with view of twin towers. Well maintained hotel despite the ants sighting. So, dont bring in your food coz u'll see the ants will be having food party the next morning when u wake up. Carpark will be at Low Yat Plaza, just next the hotel. Staff should be trained more to interact & to give useful information such as parking ticket procedures w/o guests asking what to do next. Room aircon was super cold. We off the aircon throughout the night. No deposit paid.

The hotel offered excellent rates and is located in the vibrant Bukit Bingtang area, and it within walking distance to the monorail and street food centre in KL. It also helps that there is a Nandos around the corner, not far at all. It is also in close vicinity to one of the main electronics malls in the city. The hotel rooms were clean and had no problems with any of the amenities. The wifi worked well, but can become spotty once you leave your room. The full glass front toilets were interesting to say the least. Finding the hotel for the first time was not so easy as it is up one of the smaller roads. Found the staff to be very friendly.
