An excellent centrally located hotel close to the happenings, Buffet Breakfast was super. Also close to the IT Mall, where you get all variety of stuff and with good bargain. Rooms are nicely decorated and recommended. Staff was friendly
To me, this was a no brainer choice if you stay at bukit bintang with certain budget It has everything that i need, very fast internet wifi, decent breakfast, unlimited supply of water, proffesional staff and good shower staying here 3 nights and then extend 4 nights in span of 10 days. The first time i checked in i was upgraded from superior to deluxe. Second time i was placed in higher floor on smoking room, but has no trace of any smoke smell (good job at cleaning it). The front staff even checked me to know if the room smelled and i would change room, but i'm not. location wise, 20-40 m to low yat plaza (IT center) and sungei wang plaza (has good rate money changer here), 100-150 m to berjaya times square, 200-300 m to alor street (food center), and 300-350 m to MRT station. The room itself was pretty well maintained if you consider this hotel was 20 years old. It was clean, and cold (although not turning on air conditioner). Bed itself was a little too soft for me, with good pillow. And the carpet was old and maybe need change. It feels dusty every time i walk barefoot. Water is virtually unlimited and complimentary. When you runs out of bottled water you can actually request staff to bring you more. Even all drinks in refrigerator were free (i find coca cola, sprite and cold water). Thumbs up to Mamun, cleaning staff that is in charge on 13th and 17th floor as i meet him every day when i stayed here. With the price i pay and all of this hotel had offered. It's a no brainer choice.
We were busy hunting for a hotel on the night of 28th October as everywhere else in KL is full for the night. We came across Capitol Hotel. We were served by a friendly Indian Lady (i didn't get her name) but she was lovely. She was very calmed, professional. Bravo to her! The rooms were extremely clean and comfy with great view! Definitely a must to come back! I've found my favourite place to stay in KL! From: Mr Fadhil
Hotel was cheap compared to others in the same area. Our room, although smelt like smoke, but we opened the windows as we were on one of the higher floors, was very comfortable. The room was clean and basic but ideal in terms of location. We were out most of the days so was perfect for our needs.
It was just for a one night stopover but I wished I had booked to stay longer. The location is ideal in the centre of activities. The room was comfortable and the staff helpful. Make sure you include breakfast as their buffet selection meets international standards
Hotel is good in it's price but they have some rude & idiot receptionist. Puven was there on reception today 23 Oct in night 12:00. I asked to give my laundry packet. From beginning his reaction was bad. Atlast I said to him you are rude. He reacted by saying I don't mind to be rude. I don't know if this guy just came out of street to work in wonderful hotel and ruining it's image. He is having some ego issue which does not work in tourism industry. He is just receptionist and looks like fresher joined but the way he behaves has changed my whole idea about hotel. I will never stay here.
We stayed here mid April 2017, for 3 nights. Was chosen for its location so we can get about on foot. Hotel was adequate, but very dated. Room size was ok, carpet was very dirty, slightly off putting. Bed was sufficient, we had a great city view, room itself was just ok. Breakfast was nice, but do get there early as items don't get replaced towards the end, we were late risers especially with the jet lag. Decent buffet selection otherwise. We just spent time in the hotel for sleeping and change clothes so we could explore KL. We would stay here again if we had too, price was decent for the location, but we will be booking a slightly better/more expensive hotel next year.
The hotel just located at the back of sg wang shopping mall and beside the low yat plaza. The hotel is a bit old and really need maintenance. Try to choose high floor. The staff are friendly and if the room available , they will allow early check in.
We stayed at room 1809. Carpet was very dirty. Their housekeeping dont really vacumn the room. Even the table and vertical blinds is full of dust. Got sick after 1 night stay. Room too dusty. location is convinient for shopping electronic devices as it is just in front of the mall
This hotel was part of a package we booked through Hidden Gems. You look at the pictures and think yes looks ok. In reality it was awful. We were so disappointed when the taxi dropped us off outside a building which looked like a youth hostel. Check in was fine, however when we got to our non smoking room, it was obvious it was a smoking room, the room was small, dirty looking and the bathroom was dreadful. My Husband went to reception to get us moved. What made us both laugh is the false advertising of the rooms as in the lift there was a picture of one of their rooms with wonderful views, beautiful bath tub. Now we would have paid to upgrade to a decent room but there were no offers. The next room was acceptable....until you tried to sleep. You could hear your neighbours, the lift shaft felt like it was above us, so the constant banging noise was awful. We were so happy to leave this hotel and move onto Bali. All I say is research your hotels! The breakfast was ok. Final note - I would never return to this hotel
