Hilton Kuala Lumpur5.0 out of 5.0

Our room was fantastic; clean; very high up; great view of the high rises. Anything we needed extra (towels, or answers to questions about how to get around, etc.) were cordially addressed. We especially want to give thanks to Harvin who is the concierge/manager up on the Executive Suites/dining level. Impeccable attention to detail; he made us feel right at home; very sincere and friendly; Harvin, including the rest of the staff at the hotel were exceptional and extremely hard workers. Our room was thoroughly cleaned each and every day. Harvin and rest of the staff deserve a raise!! I would not hesitate to stay at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton again and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only "glitch," was the safe in our room. Great feature, but it was practically Fort Knox to get into it!! Had problems each and every time we set up a code to get into it. Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever! Loved our stay ........ twins, Jane and Judy, USA
This Hilton property lived up to expectations. The hotel staff were very attentive to any and all requests such as extra towels or amenities. The hotel grounds and room on the Executive floor was excellent as were the amenities in the Executive Lounge such as breakfast choices, daily tea and cocktail but I especially want to commend the Concierge in the Executive Lounge, Harvin. He was extremely friendly yet exceptionally humble and helpful at the same time maintaining a ready smile to everyone. As well, we utilized the ground floor restaurant for (the included) breakfast which offers a large buffet of choices including Indian, Japanese and western cuisine. Location of this hotel is great given it's proximity across the street from the KL Central Train Station (a nonstop ride from the airport about 30 minutes). If I have any complaint it is extremely minimal - our sliding bathroom doors did not close tightly 100% with a small gap. The room safe had some contradictory directions and we had to keep choosing a new PIN to re-open it. Otherwise I would easily recommend this hotel for visitors.
The location is so convenient and easy to get to and from KLIA. Few steps away from KL Sentral to get trains and buses, with some shopping, convenient stores and eateries. The lobby seems like a meeting place for many as it's always busy and people are sitting around with their laptops. Quieter in the evening with nice ambiance and the lobby bar is a relaxing place to chill after dinner. Staffs are very friendly and attentive. Dinner at Graze was delicious with good selections of wine. Breakfast at Vasco's is too crowded and noisy. Room is beautifully lighted up as you enter. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom feels so grand with a good size bathtub, all clean and sparkly. Room has complete amenities. Only down side is that the Deluxe room do not have complementary Wi-Fi. We were only there for one night so we didn't opt for the executive room which has complementary Wi-Fi and also breakfast at the executive lounge. But we managed to speak to the reception who was initially hesitant to provide us with the complementary Wi-Fi, but only after we mentioned about our Hilton membership (which should be checked during check-in as the card was provided to them), then only she agreed. So therefore, I have to give a 4 star rating :( But nonetheless, all was good and Hooray to Hilton Honors!
Always stay here in KL if it is my choice. If you are lucky and arrive at the right time of day, from landing at KLIA to check in could be as short as an hour. Rooms are good. I like the lobby bar. I also like the Japanese restaurant. Only give the Hilton 4/5 because breakfast in the main restaurant is too chaotic. It is difficult to get any service. If you are on business book the package that allows you to use the Exec Lounge on 33.
This hotel has great staff and they are very attentive to our needs. We are especially very happy with the service at the executive lounge on the 33rd floor in the morning. Amazing job by Harvin Singh and his morning crew as they are very hospitable and efficient people. Would definitely go again.
I always come here when I am in Kuala Lumpur for business. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. The service is very good. I advise to go for the executive rooms. This has many advantages. Relaxed and good breakfast in the executive lounge with very friendly staff. Harvin always makes sure you don't lack anything. The wifi in the hotel is good. This is important to me, as I depend on a good connection working in IT. The location is perfect. 2 minutes walk to KL Sentral which will enable you to get anywhere in the city and a perfect connection to KLIA airport. The quality of the rooms are very good, very clean and very comfortable beds. Highly recommended.
When in KL, this Hilton is highly recommended. It is up to 5 star standard, great high spec rooms with design aspects. The pool and its area outside is huge. Also great big fitness with lots of light. Several great restaurants, a good night bar with live bands and the huge lobby bar feels like a home sofa area. You feel relax and at home. The same is true for the exec lounge. Good parking also and facilities for drivers and taxis. You are on the side of the overpass train/metro that cuts across town. Little India is a few hundred meters easy walking distance with nice restaurants. It is also very convenient from the airport and several good shopping malls and restaurant areas that are 10 to 20 minutes by taxi. Going further downtown by taxi or train is easy. Set on a hill, you have spectacular views of KL. A place to come back to, often, for business or family holiday.
I stayed four nights in executive plus room In Hilton KL Sentral. It was an overall good experience. Housekeeping did their job very well. We were happy with the friendly service of the staff in the Lounge. At times I felt they are really short of staff. They were running around to serve everybody well, but almost impossible to do with a full lounge and so little staff. I recommend a review by the management of the number of staff available. Harvin is doing a good job managing the place and so does the other permanent staff. Dont cut cost at the expense of the customers, that will backfire eventually. The same can be said about certain food or snacks served. I notice over the last years coming here a decline in variety and even in quality. Don't compromise your 5 star status I would say. Overall I like to come back again despite some criticism i shared here. The staff does make me feel welcome and are serving me very well,
Love this Hilton, the hotel is impeccable from the staff, rooms, facilities especially the gym and also the breakfast is one of the best I have experienced across the globe. Centrally located to MRT and close to little India where we ate regularly. Would highly recommend.
Loyalty program not up to expectation. Pillows not suitable and have to use rolled up towels as pillows quality of meals in executive lounge has detonated room only made up late and flush in toilet not operating well
