We fell in love with Slovenia and this area in particular. The drive up to the hotel was breathtaking and a little scary but the view from every vista was spectacular. The room was clean, large and bright with a balcony. We ended up having dinner there twice - the only time on our lengthy trip we did that - because the food was delicious!
They were all taken from our balcony at different times of the day and evening.

Great hotel, even better staff

The hotel is great and in a great location. The only knock I have on it, which may not matter to you, is that the parking is a little inconvenient and there is no elevator. Aside from that, loved it.

It is a very unique hotel in its own way

The hotel is located far away from Kranj town centre, on top of a small hill. The building is a bit aged that does not have even lift / elevator or air conditioning. It was quite hot during our stay, as we could not open the windows due to bugs. The front desk is staffed only at limited hours. However the mountain view is good and breakfast is adequate too.

Five Stars! This beautiful property is at the top of a mountain overlooking the city of Kranj. We had breathtaking views of both sunset and sunrise. The restaurant had a nice selection of dinner and snack choices, along with several wines and beers. The Continental (Plus Meat!) Breakfast was included with the room charge. The rooms and common areas are decorated in that timeless, clean Euro style.

Really nice view with good chocolate croissant!

There were some difficulties with the reservation, they wanted to give us one room instead of the originally booked 2 rooms. After clarification they gave us the 2nd room so it got resolved afterall.
