as mentioned, it is less than 5 minutes by taxi/shuttle outside of town. This is nice for privacy and quiet in the evenings, but will be expensive if you go out later than 9pm as that is the last shuttle. Then you will have to settle for a taxi which is fixed price at 200BHT...which is expensive for a 5 minute ride. The resort itself is very nice if not a bit quircky. But the staff was super friendly and helpful, even organizing a reservation and pickup for a restaurant for us. The other highlight for us was the presence of a little cat family of momma and two kitties. They were a bit shy, but allowed us to feed them some cat food on our little porch. Overall, a very nice resort and would recommened to friends. One downside is that the wifi was very spotty and would cut in and out.
The entire staff was so friendly and courteous with smiles at all times. We were there for our anniversary and the staff decorated our suite with lovely flowers. Appreciated the frequent shuttle service to the downtown/main busy street of Ao Nang--ask for the shuttle schedule at the front desk and plan your day accordingly to reduce unnecessary hikes back and forth. Tips: It's located about 200-300 meters away from the main street; walkable if not too hot; however from/to airport, highly advisable to take a taxi instead of the airport van which drops you off at the intersection of the side street and the main street from where you need to lug your luggages for 200-300 meters on a side street. Also, the price for the airport taxi is only about 200-300 baht/5.5-9 USD more for two people with much less travel time. The quiet and clean pool was nicely sized with a beautiful view of the mountain cliff. Many good restaurants are nearby--check Google map and reviews, that you can just walk to for a few mins.
This was a lovely hotel in a beautiful spot, yes quite and a distance from beach but free bus [Thia style a truck] which runs every hour into town about 5 minutes. Rooms are clean, spacious and air conditioned, all you could need is there or can be requested. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. We felt this had once been a top of the range hotel but now just need a little bit of updating, touch of paint, bit of pebble cleaning around pool and new more modern loungers. Just little things that would bring it back up to excellent. Grounds kept beautifully. Happy hour by pool ? no sign of waitress had to go in to bar, then they offered to bring to lounger. Having experienced service in Greece where on beach your glass is refilled whenever you need it by observant but not intrusive waiter, we felt staff also not on top of the game. Over all we enjoyed our stay in such a wondrous place.
We stayed 3 nights in the Family room. Even had an extra bed, but the room and hotel is nice. We do however find it without any soul, as it is just another new hotel on the street of Ao Nang. The pool, the breakfast, the fitness room - everything is ok - just lacking the soul. But too much to ask for in this kind of hotel. It is a 15 min. walk from the beach. We walked, took tuk tuks and the bus from the hotel. Not many shops or eating places around the hotel. Very nice view.
Location is REALLY REALLY BAD! It is far far away from the sea and also the restaurants/ town! We checked in on 14 of Oct and immediately checked out! The room was so old (look like haunted?) with poor decoration, the staffs there will cluster around and do their own stuff, chit-chatting, not professional at all! We shifted back (book another resort on the spot) to Phu Pi Maan and that feeling was so great! My only advice to you is, stay away from this property!
The property is good but far from the sea side. Beach area is approx 3 km from the hotel. The behave of the lady at the reception is bad and no proper response. We had to wait more than half an hour to get room keys although there wasnt any rush. Rooms are big. Good for people who wants to spend quiet vacation.
Stayed here with 5 other friends for 4 nights. We were able to get 3 separate rooms at a very good rate. The rooms were decently sized, the bathroom on the other hand was massive. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, although service was a little slow. The food at the restaurant wasn't bad, breakfast was just OK. The highlight is the view from the pool, especially during sunset, it's unbelievable. The resort isn't walking distance to the main strip in Krabi, however they offer free shuttle service every hour, so it's not too big of a deal. I really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone.
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights, the hotel grounds are something out of Alice in wonderland.. Really a great place to see. We were greeted by great front desk staff and driven to our awesome little hut, there was a frog bouncing around in there which added to the experience.. Having the guy get it out with a big leaf haha Can't fault the room or the place though it should be noted that there isn't any sale of alcohol on site as its a Muslim run place but this just ends up saving you money as there's a shop over the road so your not paying hotel prices. The only reason this place didn't get an excellent rating is due to the poor attitude of the staff in the restaurant, the first night we got there it was late so we decided to eat there, they didn't come over to ask us if we wanted a drink, our food came out separately (quite common and not a big deal) and they left us sat there so long that we had to go ask for the bill instead of ordering more drinks or a desert.. They really need to sort this issue out. All the same I would go there again just not eat there.
Stayed here with family and toddler for 3 nights. It is a decent place, very calm and quiet, the pool is ok but with an amazing back drop of the limestone cliff. The food, service is ok, don't expect staff to know good English since the staff is local and Krabi is a very small town, but they are ever smiling and nice. The rooms are big with very comfortable beds and bathrooms are good too. They have an hourly shuttle from resort to beach and surrounding shopping area. It's a 5-6 min ride. Check in check out was smooth. Other than the pool, they don't have any other in-house entertainment, a very old Foosball table with no ball. Overall a good stay, but be aware of red ants outside your rooms. A tad expensive when compared to the service and other things provided/not provided.
This hotel was perfect, the room was fantastic (especially the massive bed and bathroom), pool was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They also do a free shuttle to and from town often which is very handy but town also isn't too far to walk if not - good location. We only ate once at the restaurant which was very nice. Would highly recommend this hotel.
