The pool was amazing. The rooms are spacious and A.C. was great. Breakfast was alright, dinner buffett was ok. But you're on the strip with plenty of food to choose from so get out for meals!

Great hotel. This was my second stay here. I loved it except for the air (controlled by rooom key), so once you leave the room, there's no air circulation in the room and it gets stuffy when you come back. However , staff were friendly, food was good, and the infinity pool was amazing. It's also at a great location, close to beach, shops, restaurants, etc.
My wife and I love it because of romantics place. Everything what we need. Will come again!

This is an amazing hotel with great staff and amenities! Staff members were always helpful with everything. The breakfast buffet overlooking the cliff was a bonus. But nothing compared to the swimming pool overlooking the cliff and the water.....so relaxing and surreal. I couldn't ask more from a hotel. It made our trip that much more relaxing.
The hotel is in an excellent location but you will not have too high expectations as this is a very old hotel that needs renovation. The hotel is also built from 3 levels with 3 elevators and if you sleep in the best rooms you will have to raise each time in 3 different elevators which also have walking (take about 7 minutes to reach the lobby) A reasonable breakfast - no more The hotel is just fine

Beautiful hotel with an amazing pool about a 5-10 min walk from the beach. We stayed in a panoramic view room and the views were stunning. Gorgeous bathroom and shower and very comfortable bed. Our AC didn't work that well; that was my only complaint. The breakfast there is hands down the best we have had at any of our hotels in Southern Thailand! Overall I loved this hotel and wish we had stayed there a little longer!

This hotel has everything you need. It is comfortable and quiet, relaxing and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff are all great, all very friendly and happy to help you however they can. The breakfast buffet is very good with plenty of options to choose from..The Infinity pool on the 6th level is simply amazing with an incredible view. Plenty of restaurants in the area so you don't have to venture far for a meal plus you also have a Mcdonald's next door and a 7-11 if you want something quick and simple. I don't know what else to say about the Aonang Cliff Beach Resort other than I loved it and will definitely be staying here again during my next visit to Krabi and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while visiting this part of Thailand.
I loved, loved, loved this hotel. Had a fabulous view of the river and the mountains. This is a first class experience all the way.
Upon arrival we requested for early checkin but were told no rooms were available. This was extremely surprising as dozens of families were leaving the resort in the 4 hours that we had to wait in the lobby. After hours of waiting and kindly requesting a room with a nice view we were placed into a room that overlooked the building it self. Since the resort rested on top of a McDonalds the hallways and balcony smelled like repulsive deep fried food. On top of everything we were placed in a room directly next to construction. At 7:45 AM we were awaken to sounds of hammers, saws and jackhammers. It was completely uneceptable. I was unable to sleep and it really tainted my stay in Ao Nang. This construction remain busy until 5 PM. We decided to not return to the room until after 5 the two days we stayed here. with the terrible room placement and rude staff I am hard pressed to call this a 'resort' let alone give it anything near 4 stars.

I really enjoyed the location of this resort. As soon as you walk outside the hotel, there are a bunch of different places to eat (even a McDonald's next door if you miss American food). It was also really easy and close to get to the pier and take a ferry over to Koh Phi Phi - within 20 minutes in a tuk tuk, you are at the pier. The ferry ride itself to Koh Phi Phi was about two hours. The resort is very clean, the beds are very comfortable and big. Everything about it felt like I was staying at a five star hotel. I did not get to enjoy the pool, however, it was very large and looked clean. The breakfast was delicious! Nothing like having my noodles (or pancakes if you prefer) while having a beautiful view of the mountains. The reason I would not recommend this for a family is because at night, the street in front of the resort turns into a block party (similar to Pub Street in Cambodia). Loud music playing through the night, and lots of people outside dancing and having a great time. I am not sure how the other rooms are, but if you wanted to still stay here and are a light sleeper, I would ask the hotel for a room far away from the street. I did a solo trip and it was lovely for me! :)
