City Center

Pleasant stay at Hilton Kota Kinabalu. We used it for a short stay within the city, close to the airport before we were off our resort. Really convenient from all the markets especially to Gaya street where you can enjoy the weekend activities and mingling with the locals. The hotel is very well kept as well and the staff were very pleasant.

Good but disappointed

The stay itself was pleasant, and the beds were very comfortable. However, I would have liked to see that the hotel would be more eco-friendly. There are still plastic water bottles in the hotel room, instead of filtered water that you can fill your own water bottles with, and that the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were in small plastic bottles. Better with dispensers that they have at other five-star hotels. Also, the hotel missed to book the cab for the airport, and we had to wait for almost 30 minutes for the cab to arrive. That is not what I expect from Hilton.

Hilton you did it again !!!

My trip to Malaysia was amazing mainly because of the Hilton. From the pick up at the airport to the front desk check in. Location was 15 minute ride from the airport the car was clean and the driver was friendly. Check in was fast and efficient. The hotel is clean with a fresh fragrant smell all the time. It was decorated for the Christmas Holiday. The room was a good size very modern and up to date and clean. The only problem in the room was that the si me water drained very slowly ( room 1031). Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. The front desk was always available to help with directions or suggestions. Location was great walking distance to Asia City with many stores and restaurants. I had the executive suite very much recommended. Be sure to bring dressier shoes because flip flops are not allowed their or in the club on site. Walking distance to the Mall. Download grab for transportation. Visit Jesselton lots to see and do. Check out was easy. They even held onto my luggage while we remained in the city until our red eye flight. of choice. The pool is amazing with a bar and restaurant . Service is great in every aspect of this hotel. Housekeeping was friendly fast and efficient. I called twice during my stay. Great vacation I would go back and this would be my hotel of choice .
