It was a great stay beaches and grocery store walking distance food at restaurant was very good and there own wine was great. The only negative is a very steep drive way to upper parking but it made it much easier to unload bags

Apartment with beautiful view of the sea

Nice and clean apartment. Beautiful view of the sea and 5 minutes walk to the beach. One negative point is the almost nonexistent Internet connection

We really enjoyed our stay with Castellos in Korcula. His villa was not full because we came in late Sep. so we were given a better unit then what we paid for...nice gesture. We had some problem finding his place, because our GPS didn't find the correct location of his villa, but once we found it, everything was great. The only thing less then perfect was the fact that they drained their swimming pool, so we were unable to use it. Also they were supposed to have a restaurant on premises, but again they closed for the season just before we arrived. But we enjoyed our stay there and would come back.

Other then been a bit far from the center, this villa has it all, pools, close by beach, amazing stuff, restaurant and wifi for those who need it, it was raining with we arrive and one of the villa employee when and pick us up from the port, very satisfied.

A nice room but overall not a good location

This is a set of apartments on a steep slope close to a quiet bay with private villas and apartments. We had a nice room, but a lot of steps up to the bar and down to the road. Staff young and a bit inexperianced. The plunge pools are too small for adults and too deep for children.

Located 10 minutes drive from Korcula old town. Very nice facility. Parking at the bottom of the stairs quite long) with another one higher up. Room was very comfortable and clean.

Great stay for a very good price

Large and spacious room. I went during the Easter period so it wasn't yet the main season so the attached restaurant and pool was not operational, however I'm pretty sure this would not be the case in the summer period. You probably need a car to get around as its about 5-7 min from the walled Old Town, but it offers great views of the sunset behind the hills from your deck and a different option from staying within the walled town or in a large resort on a beach. The kitchenette was fully equipped as well!

Pretty location with 2 nearby gorgeous bays.

Nice hotel close located in between 2 gorgeous bays, ideal for chilled out swimming and snorkelling. Apartment adequate though could do with a facelift in some places. Staff friendly and helpful. Korcula town Ok to walk too but along roads...so a taxi/car needed to return when dark at night. Would hire a car if I went again to explore the island. Korcula town is a gem.

A really nice retreat

We only had a short stay here, however we really enjoyed it. Both pool areas were really nice and relaxing, the rooms were really comfortable and the food, drinks and service were all fantastic. They even arranged out pick up and trip back to the marina which was really helpful so we couldn't have asked for more.

Clean and well run

This hotel was clean and well run with the staff being helpful in organise transport to other places. This place is out of town by about 3-4 kms and the buses and come every few hours so you may have to use a taxi which is around 80-100 kuna. The rooms were of a good size with views onto the mountains and lakes in which it is only a short walk to enjoy the water. The internet (wifi) was a little slow and did not reach the inside of rooms so you had to sit on balcony. We tried the restaurant food the first night and was really disappointed as it was overcooked and with little flavour. However if you head into town there are many great restaurants.

Villa Castello

My brief one-night stay there was fine. Having a rental car surely helps you get to and from Korcula town. Finding it was not a problem, as there are signs to guide you. Villa Castello has their own restaurant, and the quality of the prepared food there is quite good. So if you are tired after cleaning up after a long day sightseeing, their restaurant will do just fine. Pls remember the staff does not open for business before 8:30 am, so if you need to settle any bills, do so the night before. Otherwise, you will be pacing the floor wondering if the staff will ever get there.

Pleasant and picturesque

Beautiful hotel a stone's throw from a picturesque bay where you can go swimming. The amenities aren't the nicest in the world as some other posts have mentioned, but everything is very new and clean. In the two day's my husband and I spent there we found the location to be fantastic, the service to be great, and the room to be very comfortable. If staying more than a few days transportation becomes difficult without having your own car, though the hotel does have bikes for guests to borrow.
