It’s easy living in this tropical 880sf suite with spacious lanai opening to tropical Poipu views. Go with the flow thanks to floor-to-ceiling sliders, wood floors, modern kitchen for dining ease, open living area, separate bedroom, flat screens, ceiling fans, WiFi and DVD. Sleeps 4 in 1 King and 1 Sofa bed.

Fringing Poipu Beach, this plantation-style retreat immerses you amid 35 acres of tropical gardens. Individually decorated one- and two-bedroom suites feature full kitchens, ceiling fans and more. Onsite amenities add appeal with a beach hut (gear rental), barbecue areas and restaurant. Guests are encouraged to visit the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, located just across the street from the resort, that offers a pool with water slide, jet spa, beach activity center, well-equipped fitness center and tennis courts.

We've enjoyed our stay in Kiahuna. The description of the condo on VRBO reflects the actual condo. Communication with VRBO and the condo managers were effective. Thanks for letting us stay there!

Okay unit but needs new bed

Overall the Kiahuna Plantation is a great property, the location is on the beach and close to shops. This unit however is in the far back corner, overlooking the Sheraton, #311. The listing should have mentioned this as the pin point will lead you to believe it’s on the other side closer to the beach. Which is definitely is not. The pin point is actually the guest registration. I found this misleading. The pictures are accurate and when things like the toaster and ice trays needed replacements, these were handled though we never received confirmation of communication/requests nor did anyone ask to enter the condo while we were out for the day which I found odd. I had to reach out for check in policies and it takes a while to hear back. This may be due to the larger company handling the communication rather than the owner. The bed is terribly uncomfortable and I hope for future guests it’s replaced. Every spring could be felt and heard. We didn’t sleep well. Overall I’d stay at the property again but not this unit. While it can’t be expected, it would be great if the unit had an umbrella and chairs to borrow during the stay. You can borrow chairs at the beach hut and rent other equipment.
