Magnificent Kiahuna in Poipu

Arrived to an immaculate, modern, and location perfect unit in our favorite property (Kiahuna) in our favorite location (Poipu), within walking distance of restaurants and beach activities. Unit is as described and pictured on VRBO site, and we fully recommend it to anyone interested in a restful escape to paradise.

Beautiful Location on Kauai

This particular property is part of Kiahuna Plantation. The condo was well-appointed with relatively new appliances. The kitchen and bathroom had been nicely remodeled. We found the condo to be perfect for a week long stay on Kauai. The property is maintained well and garden like with beautiful grass lawns and immediate access to the bleach. For runners the location is also perfect as you can run in either direction for miles as well as hike near shipwreck beach. The location is also perfect for access to the airport and the major sites on Kauai. We would stay here again in an instant.

Beautiful unit + property!

We've stayed on property several times and this is by far the nicest unit we've been to. The unit is fully upgraded with brand new appliances and kitchen countertops. The location is perfect, next to parking and steps from the beach. Communication was great with the owner. We hope to be back--thank you!!

Spectacular upgrades throughout. The location of the unit is perfect! Ocean views from the lanai. The air conditioning is a huge perk to sleep through the roosters. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Amazing stay

We loved our time at the Bungalow in Poipu. It is fully renovated and is absolutely beautiful. The whole condo is outfitted for comfort and the kitchen especially has everything you could want. The Kiahuna Plantation is beyond charming and is in the perfect location to explore Kauai. It’s always hard to choose a vacation rental when there are so many options, but I promise this one will exceed your expectations. It was ideal for our family of three and close to everything we wanted to do on vacation. I will especially note how fantastic the owner and manager Brendan is. He is so communicative and helpful, honestly he made all the difference in our experience. He provided lots of recommendations and was just lovely throughout our stay. Book this condo!

First Time In Hawaii

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Beach Bungalow. This was our first time to Hawaii and we loved the island of Kauai! The condo was exactly as it is pictured on the listing. This unit is close the parking lot (which we did read about) so sometimes we could hear people, but it was very convenient with transporting our luggage and getting in from the rain! We loved that there was a beach right on the property. We did not use the pool and other options at the Poipu Beach Club, but we did eat dinner at the restaurant there, which was very good! The location of the condo was great. The only issue we had was that the first night there were many small black gnats that were all over. They appeared at night time and were gone by the morning. We didn't have the time the next morning to ask about it and thankfully they didn't seem to reappear the subsequent nights!

Modern updated condo w/ plenty of room for a family of four

The condo was nicely updated with modern amenities and had ample room for us and our two teenage girls. Brendan was very responsive when we discovered there wasn't a blanket for the pullout couch, offering us lots of options to solve the problem. The one thing the kitchen could use would be a few more Tupperware-like containers to store things in. All in all, I would highly recommend this property!

Beach Getaway

Loved the Kiahuna Plantation. The green gardens are exquisite and create a total “getaway” atmosphere. You can walk the entire Poipu Beach. Handy surfboard lessons and rentals are in the towel shack. Our 1B1B condo was nicely appointed and cozy. A rental is absolutely necessary for grocery shopping, sightseeing, and restaurant choices. We loved it!

Great visit @ Poipu

We had a wonderful stay at Poipu. Loved the unit, best we have stayed in thus far at this location. Only bummer was being so close to the parking lot that you hear everything from your bedroom window, but that is just reality, nobody's fault, just the location of the unit. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful one bedroom with plenty of room and partial ocean views. No buildings in the way of the view of the ocean. 200 yards to the beach. Kiahuna is like a 5 star resort; fresh beach towels, lounge chairs on manicured grass, overlooking beach. Surf shack on the beach with rentals and surf lessons. Great little coffee place across the street. Loved Poipu Athletic Club for workouts, and their Cabana for a drink and to watch football. Absolutely ideal spot.

Cute slice of paradise

This condo was everything we hoped for and more. Very tastefully decorated, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and pullout couch, washer dryer was so handy and had laundry soap/dryer sheets provided, close to parking for unloading supplies, pool and athletic club was awesome and has 3 pickle ball courts and the close proximity to the beach was fantastic. We have stayed at KP before and this unit was superb. Host is very helpful and accommodating. Two big thumbs up!

Amazing stay!

We had an amazing stay at Brendan’s place. He was super helpful and communicative, and we appreciated all the tips in the online welcome book. The unit was in fantastic confition - all updated and the nicest Kiahuna unit we’ve ever stayed in! So great to have laundry in the unit, and the unit was in a famtastic location just a short walk from the main lawn and beach. We loved everything about our stay and would love to stay here again! Highly recommend!

An Enjoyable Place to Stay

We just returned from a 9-night stay at this property. It was pleasant and relaxing. Everything we wanted was there except for one thing - air conditioning. I had missed this when I booked the place - my bad. The trade winds helped some and ceiling fans made it tolerable. Living room TV was great. TV in bedroom was a pain (sensors relaying remote signals don't work. You have to stand under the tv to change channels). Place was quite clean though we did more ourselves upon arrival (we're very picky about this). Location was very good - walk to beach, parking, shopping and two good restaurants (Cabana Bar and Grill and Holoholo Grill). No noisy neighbors or wild parties here -0 very quiet day and night. Exterior of resort is very well-groomed and beautiful. We swam, snorkeled and watched the sunset every day just a few hundred steps from our room. All things considered, it was a positive experience. We would stay here again.
