Great Experience of virgin nature all along the property .... No words to explain their Pool villa ... We enjoyed really ... Food was higenic and excellent ... But quite expensive ! ... Better enjoy Complimentary Breakfast as a Brunch ... It was worthy ! Speed boat was taken inside to small waterways where mangroves is just catchable ...Wow . Thanks a many to Mr.RAHUL Front office manager and his team for all along assistance .
In June 2017, my visit to my beautiful birthplace Kerala proved to be more amazing than I imagined. My son and I stayed at the Fragrant Nature Resort in Nedungolam. It was the first time I had not stayed with family in India, but we were received with a warm welcome and excellent service throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and clean with a beautiful lakeside view and always smelled nice. Room service was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious food at the restaurant. The resort itself was immaculately maintained and being lakeside, we had stunning views. The boat ride on the lake itself was breathtaking. This resort is a peaceful retreat where you can relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Kerala. I would like to thank each and every member of staff, but particularly Rahul who is the Front Office Manager and Renjith who is Front Office Executive, for making our stay very special and unforgettable.
I stayed here in a private lakeview villa for 6 nights with my wife, 1 yr old daughter, and a nanny. We visited in July which was off-season. We had 7 days of beautiful weather, it rained only at nights. Since it was off-season there were not many guests and we got very personalized service. First of all, I have to mention that this resort is located in a stunningly beautiful natural setting. We took boat rides to get further remote into the lake to the ancient mangrove forests. A very friendly guide took us on these boat rides. Since our baby was just a little over 1 year old we had many restrictive and special dietary requirements for her. The kitchen staff - especially Nikhil, Vinod, and Shiva were super helpful and prepared special meals for our baby throughout our stay. They made sure to source organic food items and prepared the meals in super clean and hygienic conditions. Baby enjoyed the food just like she enjoys moms food. We were quite thankful and grateful for that. The housekeeping staff that included Rahul and others were quite friendly and diligent. The restaurant/coffee-shop personnel - Albin, Basil, et al were very friendly folks as well. This resort is ably managed by Deepu, who along with his staff and an awesome kitchen manager Prashant ensured that our stay was delightful. The location of this beautiful resort in the middle of great natural beauty, and friendliness of the folks at the resort, make us want to come back here again!
Nice place to spend our free time with beloved ones. Very good , great experience of leisure, lovely place.must go to enjoy. We are really enjoyed our stay at the resort.location is good , natural beauty, friendly staff.
Spent one night here. The setting for the resort is beautiful. The amenities are well-maintained and the food was quite good. Their best aspect is the staff however. Extremely friendly and will go out of their way for your comfort. They ayurvedic spa was disappointing however. It was okay, but not what you would expect in a resort in a place that prides itself on being among this best in the world for this sort of treatment. The speed-boat trip in the mangroves was not bad. Overall reasonably priced.
1 of the most amazing resort in kerala backwaters Well maintained rooms , very comfortable, healthy organic food prepared according to our requirement T T room was huge . Swimming pool and open jacuzzi were inviting , very clean Private boats were arranged for guests who wanted it . Nice place to relax with family All cottages are lake facing
Except the reception which is quite small, dull & dark and that congested washroom in the room, everything else was just awesome..staff is helpful and friendly especially Daniya and Joseph in the restaurant. The food is good but a little overpriced. So except these 3 mentioned things, our stay was simply cool, and not to miss the evening coffee at the sunset point cafe, was great. So guys this is definitely worth a visit, and that too in June July rainy season would be an icing on the cake experience. It's a must visit place for nature lovers.
Resort was fantastic and good location to to enjoy the holidays. Stay, eat, relax and sleep...if someone prefers to be away from the busy schedule then this resort would be the most appropriate one. Staffs are very cooperative. Quite farm from any city or town.
The good! - Once there the place has breathtaking views of the lake and they have really good food. - One must try the Seafood restaurant where they serve freshly prepared seafood platters which has squids, grilled fish, jumbo prawns and a lot more. - We even took a 1 hr speedboat ride which the hotel offers at a nominal cost which was fun. - The staff at the resort was very very good- courteous, warm and helpful. We had all our meals at the resort and never had an issue with the food. It was always very very good!! The bad!! - The location is a bit remote since the resort is in Paravur and not in proper Kollam so pls be mindful and make sure that you have travel arrangements to and from the resort in place before hand. - The Ayurveda center was a disappointment, highly priced and doesnt offer value for money at all. Even the upkeep of the ayurveda center is not good in terms of cleanliness. - We were originally checked into a Heritage Villa which didnt seem to be in a good shape so we requested the Manager and got ourselves shifted to a newer Villa which was great with a great view of the lake. - Seemed a little pricey for the overal look and feel and the experience at the place Overall- If going to Kollam do consider this resort for its warm hospitality, excellent location and great staff!!
Went to Fragrant Nature with my two sons from 20 June to 28 June 2017. And we didn't want to come back!! Pictures won't do justice to this beautiful resort and the pristine location. You have to be here to feel it. I tried hard to find a reason to complain but couldn't find one!! Please note this is off season in Kerala due to monsoons. Hotel- small luxury hotel, which does justice to the traditional aura with all the modern facilities. The cleanest hotel I've seen. It's located away from busy cities, amongst tall palm and banana trees, and a beautiful serene lake that joins into the river. You can easily spot owls, eagles and sometimes elephants across the lake. Staff- the smiles are genuine, the greetings are genuine, the warmth is genuine. Helpful is an understatement. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel happy. No demand made was ever refused. Not a penny missing or misplaced in the rooms. Not a single bit of food or juice dropped. Impeccable. Commendable. Spa- I undertook an 8 day weight loss avurveda package which included medicines, customized meals, yoga, steam and massages. The massage rooms were clean, towels white and fresh. Pleasing to the senses. Relaxing. I lost 2.5kgs and 7 inches in 8 days. Special thanks to Dr. Kavitha and Reshmi. Food- multi cuisine and fresh. No stale oil used. They even went out of their way to make eggless pancakes for my boys, who loved them so much that they had pancakes every single morning. Room service was impressive. Never had to call twice to check on the food, which always arrived hot and fresh. Grounds- it rained every day but I never saw a puddle anywhere. Early morning the grounds are cleaned off fallen leaves. Deck chairs ready, pool is crystal clear. My boys swam in the rain every day. Mr. Deepu, head of operations, went out of his way to make sure this became a memorable trip. From arranging taxi to the elephant shelter to the lighthouse, to traditional Kerala meal, to motorboat through the mangroves. Thank you. You have to make this resort a bucket list item and experience Kerala here. Thank you, ALL staff of Fragrant Nature and Kudos.
