I have been coming to Kolkata for 10 years and each time I have stayed at this wonderful Hotel. Our 1st stay was amazing and each time thereafter it just keeps getting better. It is because of the exceptional Management and the entire staff at this Hotel. They sincerely care and cater to every single need of their guest. It is a 5 Star Hotel yet with the feeling of being at home. For a long term business traveler such as myself, this family feeling makes the stay so enjoyable. This past stay I came down with a cold and fever and the Management went out of their way to 1. Get a Doctor to my room 2. pick up my prescribed medicine from the Pharmacy 3. check on me constantly until I was 100% better. Even their wonderful Chef, Sumeet, came to check on me and bring me some homemade soup to help me get better. That is the personal touch that this Hotel has. It is a reflection on the General Manager, Birgit Holm and her wonderful staff. I have visited all the other Hotels and have been made offers to stay at them but these Hotels cannot top the overall experience of staying at this Hotel. The restaurants are some of the best in Kolkata including La Cucina in which Chef Sumeet presides over. His dishes are on the same level as some of the best restaurants in New York City which is very hard to do. The Spa, Gym and pool area are incredible also. You must try this Hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed for one night under company's holiday package, Excellent pick up & drop facilities with good fleet of vehicles. Front desk -Friendly & courtenous. Excellent room, Staff - gentle N caring, Food - OK. Convinently located.

I stayed in Hyatt for eight nights with family as I am a member of world of Hyatt. This Hotel is closer to Airport and located in Salt Lake area and away from noise & hassles of City center. The property is huge and beautiful. There are three restaurants and we tried all. The pizza at Italian restaurant was delicious and the view & ambience was superb.Breakfast at Waterside restaurant was good.Room service provided by Azad and Monoj worth mentioning as they made our stay as if we were at home. We had access to executive Lounge as well and it was also good in terms of service, attention and foods/ drinks. The hotel is very near to Apollo Hospital and Mani Square Mall ( having quality shops and restaurants and Food Court and Multiplex Movie theatres . You can take Uber service to go to any locations without problem. Security is very good. But if you need to stay near City center / Park Street or New Market Area for shopping / work this location might be a little far away. Recommended for Hyatt fans who plans to relax and have a quality time during travel to Kolkata.Note that you can go to Salt Lake Sector 5 for Money Changer and good restaurants ( BBQ Nations). You can go to City Center Shopping Mall / Eco Park / Science City from here conveniently.

We had a buffet lunch at Waterside Cafe this lunch time. It is the most disgusting food that I have ever tasted in my life. The selection was awful. It was neither Indian, nor Chinese, nor Asian , nor Continental. It was nothing. It had no taste, no texture, no aroma, no visual impact. The food was lukewarm and tasted like it was cooked by an amateur. The service was good, but I am really disappointed. I wanted to treat my guests from abroad and was embarrassed.

It was a memorable experience for me. I organise a 6 days conference here, it was a wonderful show. Specially thanks to banquet Guys Mr. Vivek Pandey, Mr. Anis, Mr. Rajdeep. For making our function a hit show. Thanks a lot guys for your wonderful services and cooperation

Very unprofessional behavior of the staffs. Food quality and services were not upto the mark. Check in formalities took lots of time. There was no coordination between the person booked the room and the person at desk.

I stayed here multiple times earlier this summer on my visit to Kolkata. The facade of the property is very impressive, there's few properties in metros which have a large drive-through up to the lobby and impressive open grounds around it. I recommend seeking rooms near the Elevator, as you may need to walk through a labyrinthine corridors, if you get one towards the edges of the property. The rooms are just about right- Hyatt standard in every way, except a tad smaller in size. There's enough room amenities in place, though fruit trays etc are probably not part of this property's offering. The hotel has superb staff, who will go the distance, to get you a particular type of room, have breakfast arranged in time and generally make you comfortable, as they possibly can. The in-room dining options reflect Kolkata's culinary legacy- both Bengali and Marwari food in equal measure. I relished the desserts I ordered here and the masala chai was excellent as well! The breakfast cafe is at a lower level and abets the grounds. The spread is wonderful and the Chef is brilliant - does a Dosa just the way you want it :-) Gets one off to a cheerful start to the day. I really liked the service levels, which was professional and yet exuded the warmth you expect out of a property that you return to. This is a great property to stay in and really meets your value-for-money expectations. With no compromise on luxury!

Beside EM Bypass this is a star hotel with good rooms. Though the interior was not to my taste. The staff behaviour was good. The restaurants served lipsmacking food. The cost is relatively less than other star hotels in Kolkata

My second visit to this magnificient Property. It starts with delicious breakfast menu. Very cozy rooms and beds. Housekeeping Services top class. Very attentive staffs all over the Hotel. This Hotel is highly recommendable. IJAZ BENHUSEN Room 431 6/29..5/7/17
