Stayed just for the night but loved it. We arrived early in the morning, so our room was not ready. Not an issue, the person at reception was nevertheless very sweet. We went down the busy road to hire a scooter and on our return got our room. Beautifully clean, facing the pool, ground floor, very nice bathroom with large bath, and separate shower. The bedding and towels were fab and the bed very confortable. Small hotel, rooms around the pool or facing the sea. We had lunch and that was very nice too, breakfast was fabulous, à la carte, nice juice too and right on the beach. The beach itself is small in width but long, good for walks left or right and simply quiet...beach towels provided. Have stayed in many hotels in Samui and wanted to stay here, i was not disappointed BUT it's not near shops ( 10/15mi s walk) And one of the pier to Phangan is close by also the airport. We hired a scooter and were pleased with our little touring as we had done in the past. So I d recommend happily this hotel, staff are polite and friendly and sweet. Thank you for our enjoyable stay.
Room was lovely, very comfortable and just what i needed after a long tiring flight. The area is beautiful, plenty of things to explore if your not in the mood to relax by the pool. The staff was friendly and very helpful, altogether comfortable and welcoming.
Disappointed with my pizza and also coconut juice. Friendly staff and service was ok. The place quite small but nice exterior design. Love the green area and the entrance door make you feel like home.
Room was beautifully furnished with a lovely view, the people were warm, welcoming and always happy to help. The environment was quiet and peaceful. Just perfect for a relaxing holiday by the beach. Would be delighted to stay there again.
When going on holiday as a couple there are certain elements that are absolute in your requirements and for most couples this is an expectation of privacy. Within the first 20 minutes of checking in, we had people peeking into our room to see if anyone was there There was No private balcony so basically you stay on top of each other and are always in one another’s business. There was no beach to speak of - there was the sea but no beach with no loungers to relax on to try and get some privacy. There was Heavy construction next to the hotel which was hard not to hear in your room, and the hotel backs directly onto a very busy main road and you hear every car, scooter and tuk tuk that comes past. Not sure how anyone gets a good nights rest. As claimed on their website, their rooms are beautifully crafted but gloomy so you can hardly see the beautiful decor. We did in fact have a meal in the 2 hours we stayed there based on their claim of incredible food. I’ve had better street food at a quarter of the price! We discussed all our concerns with Nina who checked us in and she was very hospitable and helpful (as far as she could be) in offering us alternative rooms, but changing rooms wasn’t going to reduce the noise, increase our privacy nor make the food any better. The hotel website imagery was so deceptive; making the hotel seem spacious, meanwhile it really does live up to its “boutique” (may as well call it mini) hotel description. We decided to check-out within 2 hours of arrival, which is something we have never done before, despite the no refund policy. We have always given a hotel a chance to prove its worth, but we knew straight away that nothing could change the problems. As we believed our concerns to be valid we appealed to the hotel to at least provide us with a partial refund as we had booked 6 nights for 35,000 THB. They declined absolutely. We were told that the hotel was fully booked so we knew they would fill the room easily; so whilst we understood the policy, ultimately the hotel got double the money for our room. Our lesson is to never take a non-refundable option ever again. However one expects an enormous amount more for a hotel charging prices similar to those of Rocky’s boutique hotel and Bophut hotel (we have stayed at both previously). If you don’t mind noise, lack of privacy and average food at exorbitant prices, this is your hotel. Otherwise please follow my advise and go somewhere else. P.S. I also thought that it was disgraceful of the hotel not to send any sort of apology or acknowledgement of our concerns. We really didn’t stand and scream and shout, we were polite in voicing our concerns and requesting a partial refund. The least they could have done was send a personal letter of acknowledgement and explanation of the lack of refund
A delightful little haven of great style and design in Samui, only 14 rooms so no groups and recommended for couples and individual travelers. Their Jaroen restaurant has a great and delicious menu to suits everyone tastes.
We stayed in a Chinese style suite that opens onto the pool area- was just as shown in the pictures- beautiful rooms styled super elegantly taking us back to an era that belonged to the majestic yesteryears. Their restaurant Le Jaroen is as gorgeous as the rooms! Right by the beach and serves mouth smacking food. You have to try the Beef mignonette!! Their service is impeccable and amazingly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Will recommend and stay here again 100%
I have a great stay there as room very cozy and beautiful. I'm feel privacy cause only 15 rooms in resort. Food and wine at Le Jaroen Restaurant extremely fantastic. There's a beach in front that you can take your time there. Highly recommend
Staff were great from reception to bar to cleaning. Couldn't fault their efforts. Always pleasant and helpful. The owner has clearly gone out of their way to make this picture card hotel. Overall it was a nice hitel and worth a visit. I would.say though that some small details could really improve comfort. It seems as though the rooms have been designed for looms above comfort. E.g. 5'5" wide bed looks great, but in order for it to be in perspective, the pillows were oversized too. It looks good but very difficult to sleep on a pillow 2-3 times deeper than a normal sized one The bath was big enough for 3 people, made of stone and with brass standing taps, looks great. The water though was just above tepid and a very low pressure so it took an age to "fill" and by the time the water was 6 inches deep, it was already cold. Aircon had 3 power levels and ever low was very strong. Ordinarily this would be great, but the vent was not directional and pointed directly at the bed so your choice at night was icy blast in your face or 28 degrees Finally the lighting was set up to be cosy and atmospheric, which it was, but it was very dim. If you wanted to view a.map or read a book afyer sundown, then you needed a torch Feels like a negative review. It really isn't. With some small inexpensive changes to make the room more practical i would have rated 5 stars as overall it's a really nice place with great staff
Excellent getaway... Quiet private beach away from the Chaweng crowd, good food ... beautifully quaint rooms with quirky design details, with very nice touches like candles, robes, essential oils burning at turndown etc... Just what a boutique hotel ought to be. Great value.
