Having had a year of hospital appointments I needed a complete break and time to relax. We booked the Peace Resort online having checked out trip advisor and have to say were very pleased our stay. The people are charming and the resort is very relaxing, do take time out to have a massage or two. We had booked Bed & Breakfast and although occasionally chose to dine on site, there are plenty of places to eat out, and compared to UK prices it is very cheap. Do take a trip to Fishermans Village especially on a Friday or a Monday when the market is set up. Great time had, would recommend it.
Had an amazing stay at Peace Resort. The staff were always helpful and attentive, and it's just a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a holiday. Check-in was fast, and the welcome drink was good. The pool was awesome and my 3 year old daughter loved the kids playground. We also loved hanging out at the balcony of our chalet, and the room was spotless! The breakfast buffet spread was good, and there was a lot of facilities you could enjoy, all ready within the resort. The traditional Thai dance that came with the seafood dinner was also good. Despite all the positives, there are a few things that could be improved: 1) The TV selection is limited. There was no English movie channel, so staying in isn't really an option unless you speak Thai, or some other language which is not English. 2) The seafood dinner buffet was rather disappointing. While there was a lot of prawns and cuttlefish, there was only once choice of fish, and the meat was already on sticks. The buffet also didn't come with complimentary drinks which I thought was odd. 3) One of the days, the hotel ran out of towels. I know it's strange, but it happened. On another disappointing note, and while this is not entirely the hotel's fault, the beach front is not clean, and the sand is rather coarse. Nonetheless, at the entrance of the hotel is a place called K-Siri Restaurant which serves cheap but really yummy Thai food.
My husband and I stayed in the Peace Resort over Christmas and New Year for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Staff were really friendly and could not do enough for us, and our booking included little extras such as complementary massarge and dinner on the beach. The resort is in a great location, right on the beach with the fisherman’s village in walking distance, which is full of bars, restaurants and quirky shops. There is also a must see market on each Monday and Friday. It is close to a pier also, making it easy to get over to Koh Phangan (which was handy for us as we headed to the full moon party for NYE). We explained it was our honeymoon when we booked and they advised that if an upgraded room was available, they would upgrade us, this didn’t happen (which is not surprising given the time of year of our visit), but we did get a bottle of wine and flowers on our bed for our arrival, which was a really nice touch. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! Absolutely loved it!
As in every resort there are few different types of Bungalow’s in this resort. And we had initially been assigned a standard one. I wasn’t very happy with this room but that’s not to say that it was completely rubbish :) I didn’t like it’s location in the resort (at the back), didn’t like its size and ceiling in the shower (it was see through and you could see all the creepy crawlers). But it was a decent, clean and modern room if you consider renting it. So after seeing the room I went back to reception and told them I am not happy with the accommodation. Here a big thank you to Sandra - the front desk manager. She has quickly calm me down, offered me a deluxe bungalow and we could move from the following night. It was perfect ! The pool is very nice and the staff always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet - not ideal but also not too bad. We didn’t dine a lot in the hotel as it is located very close to fisherman village and other good restaurants just on the street. But the meal we had in the hotel was tasty - we went for Thai. Overall I had a very nice stay and I would recommend Peace resort.
Great hotel ,Great staff. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely come back again. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a great variety - overall the food tasted amazing ! 5 stars are definitely not enough for this lovely hotel! :-)
The location is the best in Koh Samui on the beach beautiful for swimming or just relaxing. From the minute you arrive you are treated like a celebrity. The rooms are modern, clean and luxurious. The pool and restaurant are just amazing. May and the team are just like Family had the best Christmas at the Peace Resort, Thank-you so much.
Myself and 4 friends stayed here for a night. The service from the staff was amazing...we asked about a Maui Thai fight in town and the front desk called our room with details without us even asking for a follow up. The massages were great and the taxi service anywhere around the island was very nice as well. highly recommend it.
The peace resort is just about 200 meters away from the fishermans village, with it's nice restaurants, cafes and bars - 200m walk on the beach of course ;) The rooms are very clean und breakfast and service are excellent. Special thanks to hotel manager michael who helped me with my proposal at the beach! I hope we get the chance to come back to celebrate with you!
Booked a sea breeze pool villa for my wife and baby via Agoda. The whole stay was very delightful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Checking in was a breeze. The daily breakfast was alright with an egg station and it was sufficient for us. The villa where we were staying at is spacious with a comfortable supersized king bed. All 3 of us slept on the same bed comfortably even though we requested for the cot. There’s a big open wardrobe where you can keep your belongings and the toilet is equipped with bathtub. There is also a capsule coffee machine with 2 capsules given. The TV could do with more channels, but it didn’t bother us as we have our iPad to keep us entertained. The pool was adequate for us and it was wonderful to swim in it without getting out of our villa. Weather wasn’t so good during our stay so we didn’t manage to go to the beach which is a few meters away from our villa. It is near to Fishermans’ Village where there is a night market happening every Friday. There is also a good restaurant right outside of the resort. Went there twice for meals. Overall, we had a good stay at Peace Resort!
Very Enjoyable stay at the Peace Resort . Good location close by to Fishermans Village which has nice Restaurants/Shops etc. The Peace Resort rooms were very clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly and the resort pool and facilities were very nice with the bonus of being right on the beach. The Restaurant was a little disappointing the food was ordinary and the staff had very liitle knowledge of the menu contents, However the buffett Breakfast was OK .
