Melati Beach Resort & Spa

We stayed in Melati for a week after Christmas until 1.1.18. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The rooms are amazing (we took a 200 sqm family pool villa) and are serviced several times a day to make sure you are pampered, and the quality of everything is the best - sheets, bathroom, games for kids etc. The overall service is perfect. Everybody is so nice and will help above and above their duty while smiling. We had a 4 year old that was treated as a prince by the whole staff. The food was good (and nice room service), good spa and we enjoyed the activities in the hotel (thai box, water polo, kids club). It was all so great, and it did not feel crowded or noisy at all. My son will surely miss the amazing and super patient Pich, which we thank so much....we definitely recommend the hotel.

Excellent stay over NYE. Amazing yoga and pilates classes with Sonya. Fantastic staff - especially Leny and Sonya. Highly recommended. Great customer service. Very quick to deal with an internet issue. Perfect stay!

We (parents with toddler, two teenager and grandparents) stayed for almost one week at the Melati. Unfortunately the weather was cold so we weren’t able to use the beautiful pool and beach. Beside the pool and beach there is not much to do in the resort. We couldn’t use the more sheltered adults only pool with our children, the so-called kids club is a small room with a friend staff member, but old toys and due to the resort‘s relatively remote location we had to take taxis everywhere and they are quite expansive (at least 500 baht for 7 to the fisherman’s village). A big plus are the rooms - they are beautiful and taken care of impeccably. However, there is no concierge and the organization of activities is taken care of by the the front desk staff. We felt that this was not their priority, so be advised to organize everything on your own. Absolutely everywhere you are engulfed in the scent of jasmine - important to know if you are sensitive to intense smells. Our thanks to Peach, Noni, the housekeeping staff and Chef Alexis who were outstanding.

Located minutes away from Chaweng and Bophut beach yet situated in a tranquil setting with high privacy and sufficient space. It was truly relaxing with all staff being friendly and helpful with efficiency. If you go to Koh Samui you will not make a mistake choosing Melati. They also offer scooters to rent which is a great way to explore the island.

visited as a group of 5 couples from various parts of the world- upgraded the room to a family pool villa suite. big rooms with extremely helpful staff slightly away from the action but great for a relaxing holiday excursion by private boat arranged by hotel are much better priced than in town and so is car and scooter hire expensive meals for lunch and dinner but convenient

We went over for our honeymoon, the staff and resort are fantastic. I agree with the comments of the food and drinks being over priced. Other then that we had a great time. I would suggest the resort train 2 or 3 staff with with English lessons so ensure guests needs are understood. Travel to Boh Put by foot is about a 30min which was really nice it’s safe on the streets and the locals are really friendly.

A beautiful quite holiday resort. Rooms are large, clean and quiet. The catering staff and beach staff make you feel at home from the start where nothing has been too Much trouble for them. Thank you Best, John , Baw and Thomas for looking after us so well.. Reception staff could take some tips from them though, need to work on the first impression when greeting guests for the first time. watch out for the weather though , beg of Dec is still rainy season.! Overall a great start to our holiday , great location an ideal for couples wanting to get away from it all.

9 of us (2 families) stayed for just over a week during October half term. The hotel was fantastic, great pool, right on the beach and a short taxi ride away from bars and restaurants. The food in the restaurant was a very good standard, although they didn’t quite get the concept of starters and main as ended up bringing them out together. There is also another restaurant next door to the hotel, along the beach which is also very good - more a basic Thai restaurant but cheaper than the hotel. We also ate out on the main strip a few nights, which is about a mile and a half from the hotel. Would recommend the Orchid restaurant, very nice food, cheap and very friendly staff. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Good resort! We stayed in a garden Villa Pool Villa. It was very nice and relaxing. The pool areas was also beautiful. The Thai restaurant was delicious, and I found the view restaurant average for what you pay. The resort has happy hour from 12-1 and 5-6 - 2 for 1 drinks which is good because drinks and food are very overpriced at this resort. About $9-11 USD per drink. They had a kids club at the resort which our little one really enjoyed. It’s far from any areas of Koh Samui, so if you book here be okay with not leaving the resort. It’s also a very quiet resort. If your looking for a party resort this one is not it. All around good resort, I have it 4* only because I felt the food and drinks were way overpriced and the food at the view restaurant was mediocre.

Really nice resort, they are taking care about all details. Rooms are very nice. The island of Koh Samui is too crowded, but this resort is probably placed in one of the most beautiful and quiet places of the whole island. Not far from Bo Phut, where you will find bars, restaurants, everything you need. We fall in love with this resort ❤️
