Out from Hong Kong over my duty here in Samui, found Aspira by coincidence but turn up to be good for a work place and rest space. Quiet at nice not like a crowded Chaweng when the music out lound. Will end up here for 5 nights over residence side. What you will need more...

As I am a destination photographer, I travel a lot around south-east asia from Bangkok to Hanoi or Bali to Ko Samui. I always seek for a nice and cozy hotel where located in the town and not so far away from where I work. This time I booked Aspira, it located close to downtown and fisherman village.( I don't like to go to Chaweng...It's crowded for me.) The room is very nice, new and clean. The pool area is unbelievable huge. My room also has a small living area separate from the bedroom. It is always so nice to have an extra area for watch TV and doing some works or even cooking. Breakfast is good but I don't eat much in the morning...just couple cup of coffee is fine. What can I say about this hotel...It's worth every penny. With this price rate, I don't think I could find other hotel. I had a great time and definitely come back again.

Stayed here for 1 night with my 21 year old son. The hotel is very clean. Room comes with a kitchenette & is quite big. The pool area is also clean. The only downside is that it's far away from the main town of Chaweng so you'll either need to hire bikes or catch a taxi. A taxi will cost you approx 300 baht each way. There is nowhere to eat in the immediate area. Breakfast is not included but they do provide it at extra cost. Although it's a nice hotel i wouldn't book to stay here again. I'd rather pay the little bit extra to stay closer to town.

Aspira hotel According to our profession we have to travel and work around southeast asia. This trip in July we have to travel to Koh samui. And we have found this hotel is a very good value to stay. As I travel for work, to be honest, i do need a good place for sleep and then out to work all day. A spacious room and cleanliness are the first prior. Aspira has most of it for me. I have staying at other hotels around koh samui before. As a business trip with a budget we expected B&B but i haven't got any breakfast anyway. I think i've found a good place for me to stay in Koh Samui. I totally surprised that Aspira offers the same price but more valued than other. The only thing i will need from them is the internet. The internet is unlocked. So maybe this is why it turned up very slow. But i hope they will fix it soon. As i will be back again to this hotel next few month. Definitely good choice to stay in koh samui.

Very nice central location in the middle of the island, friendly, smiley and helpful stuff, nice room compared to price, great swimming pool, also the have good breakfast and good food for room service. Will go back for sure

I stayed at this hotel with 5 friends and my boyfriend for 6 nights. We liked the pool area a lot and the rooms are lovely, modern and nicely decorated. The hotel is massively let down by the poor location and staff. The hotel is about a 10 min drive from any decent restaurants or bars/clubs. We rented mopeds for a couple of days which is a much better way of getting around. Although if you don't feel confident driving a moped you will be stuck paying 300/400 baht for a taxi every time you want to go somewhere. The staff really let this hotel down. None of them spoke a word of English. Which confused me as the hotel offered a great room service menu of which you couldn't order over the phone and had to go to reception to point at the menu, which the receptionist still couldn't understand. The organisation of the hotel didn't make much sense at all since all menus and notices were in English but none of the staff could speak it. I do believe that if you go to another country you should try to speak the basic language, however I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff didn't speak any English so this made the stay very difficult for us.

We planned to stay here for 4 nights but decided to check out and move to a different hotel after the first night. The location of the hotel was horrendous there was nothing nearby to even have a drink on the night. To get to the main area it was a 300/400THB taxi ride each way and on a day time they offered a shuttle service which actually only takes you one way there is no return shuttle you have to make your own way back which is another 300/400THB journey. We decided the cost of taxis we would end up spending more than a new hotel near the centre and the beach. The rooms were not really like the pictures either very basic and the shower was awful, it was basically dribbling out of the head. The wifi in the hotel is the worst I've ever used well i didn't really use it as it didn't work only to book a new hotel online. We were constantly woken up through the night by dogs on the street of the hotel. The staff on the desk were not very helpful and were difficult to communicate with. The pool looked the best it about the hotel even though we never used it. I would definitely advise not to stay here find something near Chaeweng beach.

To be fair to these guys I've read the previous reviews and they don't seem good ,but I came here after staying somewhere dreadful for much more money a night, for 20 quid a night I got 2 large rooms, a front room with corner sofa, LED TV open plan kitchenette with all features. Then the second room was a massive bedroom with cupboards a king bed and ensuite shower. As long as you get a moped you will be fine with the location because chasing is 5 mins away through the back roads , we got one for £20 a week which was fine. this location is silent at night so you get a good sleep too which was a bonus for us as some beach resorts have people causing a riot till the early hours .

Location is terrible and you need to get taxi or hire a scooter to get around. The hotel will offer u a taxi to town for 300b. Its more expensive than a normal taxi.. staff are rude and very unhelpful. Cleaners are friendly n do a good job but there was a moody old man on reception that is why you would never return..

Suitable for family. Room is quite fine. But staffs were not friendly and helpful. Very bad attitude. 4 of us included 2 babies, we were asking for late check out, we understood hotel was quite full, however the morning staff was giving attitude to my husband, said "NO". After that safety box was locked and cant opened it, we were asking for help, and the staff's answer was too busy and bye. If you wanna enjoy your holiday, better not to stay in this hotel, the staffs will ruin your holiday. Never will stay here again.
