6 of us stayed in the Natural Samui for 7 nights in 2 3 person rooms, the hotel is very pretty and our rooms were on the pool side, so we could walk out of our room and jump into the pool. The Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and very nice. Meals are served in the restaurant up to 3.30 pm. Fisherman's village is a short 10 min walk from the hotel, As it's out of town so to speak it's very peaceful and looks particularly pretty at night with the lights in the trees and geckos on the walls.
The room was ok but the air-con was hard to control. It is central controlled, so no remote just a wall mounted panel. They have double room rates, one for Thai and one for Falang (walk in room rate) The receptionist was quite rude when he tell us it too Normally I would walk away, but it was late and we was tired.
Stayed here 11 nights, £50 per night family room, nice pool for kids friendly staff. You can rents from 250-350 Thb on a daily or weekly rent,no deposit and no one holding your license. Downside only breakfasts served and not up to much but 2 mins around the corner (walkable) a great cafe restaurant my cafe restaurant fabulous food and friendly staff. Rooms large but a bit tired although comfy beds.
Quiet and out of the way – still walk able to the thick of fisherman’s village this place was upper cheap. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Nothing flashy but it had everything you needed. I would probably prefer to stay closer to the action, but it was a nice enough place for those on a budget!
I stayed at this hotel for a week. Originally I booked for 3 nights. It is set back from the beach a bit which is no problem if you hire a scooter, otherwise it's about 10 - 15 minutes walk to Fishermans Village. The rooms are spacious and clean. The cleaning staff are friendly and efficient, and supply extra towels if needed. For the price it's excellent. The downside is the reception staff struggle with English. The cleaning staff appeared to have a better command of the language. The hotel tends to cater for the upmarket backpacker type who at times take over the pool, which tends to get crowded at times. Noise is not a problem because the young fellow on the desk is not backward in telling people how to behave. A few extra tips is to try and get a room facing the pool and beware of the midgy's when the sun goes down. I would stay here again.
We used this hotel as a one night stay over before our flight out of koh samui. There were no problems during our stay. The hotel is a little secluded but is within walking distance of the fisherman village. Quiet night stay. Good value for money and easy to get to the airport via taxi.
We stayed here for 3 nights in total. First part of our stay was great; check in nice and easy, receptionist helped us with our luggage upstairs, room nice and clean. This good feeling continued till the last evening. We'd been experiencing problems with the shower each day, it was cold till a member of staff came to 'fix' it. I got 1 hot shower out of this and my boyfriend suffered cold ones each day. So on the final night we went down and said we'd like discount on our laundry for all the hassle - which our nice member of staff then turned very argumentative and unhelpful. Continuing to say they don't do any compensation and we were creating a problem over nothing. We had a battle to get his manager on the phone, once we did she was more than helpful with great English and instantly gave us the small discount we were after. This left a bad taste and reduced our rating of this hotel. We felt uneasy leaving anything in our room for our final night because the staff seemed so displeased with us. Ruined what could have been a lovely stay at Natural Samui.
Stayed here for 4 nights early February with my husband, a friend and another couple. The price was good, we paid about $30US/night, which is a great price for the area. The hotel was nice, and in good shape. The rooms were spacious, but in need of some TLC. Our key/room power slot was dangling out of the wall, and because of this, our power cut out in our room if we didn't put the key in very carefully. Also, the door locks are in need of some attention, as the only way to pick your door is to slam it, which I felt bad about doing in the late hours of the night. The breakfast option (which was included in the price of our room, though not by choice) was DISGUSTING. The western breakfast consisted of instant coffee, syrupy juice, one egg, two pieces of toast, and what they considered to be 'sausages and ham', which was two cold hot dogs, and some limp sandwich meat that looked like it came from 7-eleven. AND if you wanted a top-up of your coffee it cost you an addition 50 Baht! The laundry option was supposed to take 24hrs so I dropped it off in the morning one day, and it was not ready until 7pm the next night. I was not offered any sort of discount. The pool was really nice, this was definitely the biggest plus for the hotel. I know this place is cheap, and you get what you pay for, so perhaps I shouldn't give such a poor review... Regardless, I will not be staying here again.
We were staying at the Fisherman's Village and when we booked we were told we would be picked up and transferred but that didn't eventuate and that resulted in a few harsh words. However that was the low point of our three day stay which we extended to five days. Nice rooms with lovely, big comfortable beds.Fridge worked well as did the air con. The room key could not be removed from the accompanying piece that went in the gadget that turns on the air con so the air con had to go off every time we went out and the room would be hot when we got back. We found a heavy knife in the gadget would keep the air con on. Nice pool, but too small to cope with large numbers of guests. The food wasn't great but My Cafe is just around the corner and their food was great. Fisherman's Village is just a five minute walk so everything you want is close at hand.
Booked here for 1 night and the place is very nice. Pool and restaurant on our doorstep. You can walk to the night market from here and the manager drove us to a temple for a fee. Only thing I would say is if you are checking out early, arrange to get your deposit back as we had to find the staff living there and then wake them up, at 9am.
