There are not much lights around the resort that makes it scarier to find the way back to your room in the evening. The AC is not working so well. The room is a little dusty and have the bad wall paint smell

I like the location,it is on the beach and it's a lot of shade under the trees . What I didn't like it's the building of the new hotel next door and it the noise so terrible and the dusty everywhere.

Toilet water and tap water brown at hotel

The hotel is very tired and old, the pool was green dirty when I arrived, took 2 days to clean. The tap water and also toilet water is a urine brown yellow colour, so it wasn't the cleanest of sanitary. The white bed sheets were stained yellow probably due to the water. The bath towels had that musty smell of damp! Not nice to dry yourself after having a shower. Location of hotel was good, and I guess it is 3 star hotel, so I can't expect too high a standard but still I did hope for a little better! Oh and there is dogs roaming around the hotel in the breakfast restaurant (apparently the owner of the hotels dog) also my neighbors next door had their big dog and was barking all night! Apart from that for the price it is OK for solo but not for couple of family or if you do travel and stay here I would pay for better room than standard garden villa

one of the disgusting hotels i ever seen in my life ,i have done my check-out saw the room, full of cockroaches ,bugs,stinky,and run out in the same hour , its shame that i payed this amount of money for 6 nights

Our first stay at Chaweng Resort.

Nice hotel reasonably priced, a little tired in places. Our bathroom could have been a little better struggled to get a constantly hot/Warm shower. But other wise a nice sized room and bed. We were in a deluxe bungalow.Close to the dining room and pool. We are going to go back there. Close to all the restaurants on chaweng road. Value for money.

Old run down unsafe

place needs to leveled to the ground and rebuilt.. looks nothing like the photos. think they had a 5 year old painter in the room i stayed, 6 year old electrician because sockets hanging off the wall. paid for 3 nights n checked out after 1. no refund!

Superb value for money

Over all the stay was fantastic. All the resort staff were friendly and helpful .rooms cleaned every day,breakfast very good with plenty of choice.Right on the beach. Choice of food in restaurant very good and cheap.Will definitely stay here again

On the beach

On the beach, everything is within walking distance you need, or a baht bus passes every minute during the day. A few mosquitos in the room, nothing some spray from 7 Eleven from across the road didn't fix.

Close to the beach and has got own sun beds. Breakfast was ok, but internet was very poor. Only in some places you can get internet and was very slow. For 300 BHT they have airport shuttle.

A disappointing experience

Upon check in we were informed the bungalow we had booked some 7 months prior wasn't available, the hotel placed us in an apparently more deluxe room which we reluctantly accepted for the first night. After having to further complain about this deluxe room after the initial night, the hotel placed us in the bungalow we had originally booked for the remainder of the stay which was more acceptable. The hotel breakfast was also somewhat disappointing, staff attitude, standard, variety and amount available was considered to be unacceptable. The standard of cleanliness in the restaurant was possibly the worst we had experienced in many many years of travelling, a build up of grease on the floors and handrails and bird excrement within the restaurant. The sunbathing area didn't fair any better. A hotel unfortunately not down for a return visit at anytime.

Absolutely horrible

The bed was broken. Mould all over bathroom . The floor in restaurant is covered in grease and people kept nearly slipping over. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff on desk. They did not cover food so had flies all over it and stale croissants. I have stayed in hostels that were far cleaner than this. Don't do it. It will wreck your holiday.
