Oct 2025 - be warned that they are building a pool (which will be amazing once completed!) but is currently a building site so very noisy during the day. Also your view from a ‘sea view’ villa will be very compromised!! The staff were very understanding and sorted an alternative day to the other side of the island on Lazy Beach (which is beautiful!). Clean room, good breakfast, right by the jetty for ferry. So much to like if it wasn’t for the building noise! Shame that no one seems to bother to want to clean up the washed up plastic along the beach front of the bay - this would make such a difference. Next door is Paradise which is great for cocktails & dinner. I recommend Soonnoeng with caution at the time of writing. Once complete the pool will make it fantastic!

Amazing

The staff were amazing they knew it was our anniversary so upgraded us to a beach front room. The location was amazing right on the beach. 1 minute walk from the pier. The resort was very friendly and comfortable. Swings and hammocks were everywhere. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only downside was the WiFi wasn’t the strongest. Would definitely return.
